  1. Better call Saul has had its ups and downs, but it is finally getting a bit better. Last episode was good.
  2. I haven't been here much lately. Either lack of time, visitors or the flu have kept me away. Pillars of Eternity is also to be blamed. Weather here is really nice. I don't even always wear my jacket. I slept through most of Easter but cousins that were over never gave me any rest. There were many 4 player local multiplayer games being played.
  3. Yes. You need to spend 80 hours on it, then come over here and complain. Then you play it six more times and brand it a **** game.
  4. None of the characters are among my all time favorites (so far), but I like them all. I haven't recruited Pallegina yet.
  5. While the concept is interesting with the DM and all, I can see how many random DMs will troll people with constant monster/lock/trap spawning. This seems like a game that would work with friends.
  6. I don't have the exact stats on my monk, but I put a fair amount of points in resolve for deflection bonus. I don't think I have high intellect or dexterity. You should look at the description of each class and decide if that stat is worthwhile for the build you are playing. My monk does decently well on hard. Resolve, constitution and might are the stats I think prioritized.
  7. Yes, yes, and a thousand times yes.
  8. Spent 7 hours playing Pillars of Eternity according to Steam. Save file says 6 hours but I have died a few times. Hard is proving to be hard. I keep making notes of places I should visit later on. So far, I got obliterated in a bear cave and in another area, some forest lurkers made me lol at how fast I died. I now have 4 out of 8 companions.
  9. Everyone will be playing Pillars of Eternity while I am at work. It's all I have been thinking about today. At the time of the game's unlocking, I will be in a very important meeting.
  10. On a whim, I started watching The Usual Suspects. I've probably seen it 50 times.
  11. This is me when the game unlocks
  12. 14 copies bought I could really use one more because why the f not
  13. I've pre-loaded the game and haven't had the urge to play anything else.
  14. I own(ed) the early access version and had now idea.
  15. I didn't see the solar eclipse because it's cloudy and it is snowing.
  16. That wasn't what I expected when they said we will answer questions. Oh well.
  17. That would be a major issue for me if my work treated me like that, if you are sick then you entitled to sick leave What I would do is go to a doctor and just get a proper sick note to give you time off work officially ? Usually, there's no hassle with me calling in sick. The thing now is that there is a situation at work and I am working with more than one boss to fix it. The issue isn't about me, but I am part of the team and stalling hasn't been an option. I know this and I was okay with it for a long time, but it's been too much lately. I don't even think I have the competence for what I am doing. (And by that, I mean that I am 684739578% sure I don't have the competence.) I'm filing reports on my free time and filling in papers that have to do with neuroscience and psychology. It's an important thing to do, but they just take it for granted that you will do it. Lots of other people would have refused to work this way, but maybe I'm just gullible or easy to use. Anyway, hair removed from Shoulders? Check Armpits? Check Face? Check Scalp? Check I lean like a baby's buttock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB2svzX7bwg
  18. The last two episodes of Better Call Saul have been really good. I like every moment Mike is involved.
  19. I'm going to Stockholm for 4 days. I really need this time off. I've been working with a cold the past week . You are always sent home if you go to my workplace with a cold, but no one was able or willing to handle the things I had on my plate. I even told them one day that I'm sick and would stay home, but they called the day after and called me in. I went to my boss and told her that I would take Thursday and Friday off, and if she didn't like it, I would take them without pay, and that is where we are now. Money is important for paying your bills, but my sanity and health are more important. It will hopefully be a nice change. Going to go and have my scalp shaved, then I am going to make myself somewhat presentable and I will be off in 5 hours.
  20. I'm about to shave my armpits. (for real)
  21. 3rd dragon in Dragon Age: Inquisition is down. I tried to beat the one on the Dragon Island but it obliterated me. On my Vita, I am playing Zero's Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. I don't even know if "play" is the right word but I am having a good time.
  22. Looking really good. Less than two weeks. mrburnsexcellent.jpeg
  23. Dragon Age: Inquisition Killed the dragon in the Hinterlands. 2/10 down. I tried to fight it at level 14 and the dragon was also level 14. I died. I turned in some quests and gained a level. Upgraded my gear because I hadn't done that in 15 hours. The dragon was suddenly level 12.
  24. Been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and took down my first dragon. I still think the writing is a bit boring. Main story isn't very interesting to me. I do admit that I like the time I spend in the Skyhold, speaking with companions and whatnot. Exploring everything is fairly fun. The areas look really nice. Having to send out scouts is a bit annoying, but I guess one can argue that it makes the world not only revolve around you doing things. Combat isn't very fun, but as I have said multiple times, I just see this as an action rpg. The dragon I beat, I got on my first try at level 14 (me and the dragon both). I had Vivienne, Solas and Blackwall with me. What won me the fight was that I had Blackwall follow me and we pummeled it. Vivienne and Solas were set to follow themselves. This way, Solas survived the rest of the fight with 5% HP left.
