  1. If course, it can seriously increase their damage dealt.
  2. That would be a nice addition. Like the brahmin caravan merchants from FNV.
  3. It works quite well for melee combat.
  4. I've never quite understood what savegame limitation has to do with difficulty. It's just a stupid nuisance when you can't save wherever you want. The whole limited savegame mechanic is a leftover from arcade games and consoles with limited memory. It's about time we stopped limiting them as a means to "increase" difficulty.
  5. I generally like the available armor sets. But like I said, there wasn't a truly unique high level set.
  6. Even if they don't add a playable third person mode, it would still be nice if we can pull the camera back when we want to. Not just if you don't use the mouse for a minute. It's a shame we can't see our character's armor in game
  7. Yeah me too, never got the chance to use it Personally I would love it if TTD was even more like VATS or pausing combat in KotOR. That would give you the chance to select which attack moves your companions would use.
  8. Hopefully we won't have to wait for the sequel, they can add this in an expansion pack too
  9. Indeed, higher difficulty doesn't just mean more enemy hitpoints. It also means better ai.
  10. I'm talking about some truly distinct looking armor like the BoS power armor from the Fallout games or the Daedric armor from TES games. I know there are plenty of high level armors in TOW but they're not exactly uncommon to find. In the early Fallout games and Morrowind for example, there were only a few of these armors available in game. They weren't usually available untill late in the game and were often tied to a specific quest. You saw these armors being worn early or mid game, and you really wanted them. When you finally got your hands on it you felt really good. When you got your full set of Daedric armor in Morrowind you knew that you were basically the only one in the game who had one. Same in FO1/FO2/FNV where you had to join the BoS just to be able to wear it. TOW really needs a high level, distinct looking armor set like this
  11. I hope so, it's what keeps a game alive. Would be nice to have a t51b and enclave power armor mod for this game. Would fit right in with the TOW design. Not to mention some new locations.
  12. I know about supernova difficulty But that doesn't mean that normal difficulty should be a walk in the park. Nor am I asking for Dark Souls level difficulty. Normal difficulty should be the baseline from which easy and hard are derived. So it should add enough challenge without being overbearing. Right now it's just too easy. Also, I don't much care for the savegame limitations on supernova. I fail to see what restricting me in saving my game has to do with difficulty. It's a convenient feature so I don't have to start all over if I suddenly need to quit playing. It's just ridiculous that savegames are limited in higher difficulty. They should've just stuck with the survival mode from FNV, that was a nice addition without being obtuse.
  13. I really love TOW on normal difficulty, which is the difficulty I always play a game on my first playthrough. I consider it the standard difficulty that the game is supposed to be developed for and played on by most people. But I have to admit that the game has become a walk in the park quite early on. Especially if you bring two companions with you and have some decent armor/weapons. In fact, during my entire playthrough so far I haven't used my companions' special ability.. once! Seriously, they kill any group of enemies so quickly I don't even have the time to use it. Now I know you can increase the difficulty but I don't feel like this the solution. They should create some more enemy variety, give them better a.i. and give them some more distinct behaviours. Instead of just increasing the damage stats. Hopefully they'll fix this with a patch/dlc and for the sequel :
  14. Hopefully they'll become accessible with an expansion pack
  15. Here's hoping that they'll implement 3rd person mode in the sequel
  16. Yeah it's only a problem on consoles. I wear glasses and I still have to squint or get closer to the tv to read TOW
  17. More combat challenge would be great. But more unique enemies is more important I think. After a little while you've basically seen every of the major enemy types in TOW and it gets a little boring. I remember in FNV you would encounter new enemies and even distinct variations of existing enemies even after spending dozens of hours exploring the map.
  18. I never felt that first person/third person gameplay was bad in games like Skyrim or FNV. Sure they're not as tight as dedicated fps or 3rd person games, but they never felt bad. Let's not forget that games like TES, Fallout or TOW are rpg/fps hybrids. So there always will be compromises. I fail to see why it would be impossible or undesirable to add 3rd person view to this game with a patch.
  19. It might not be as easy as changing the camera, I know they need to add the necessary animations too. But it could be added with a patch. This way they can also test it out for the sequel
  20. Couldn't be that difficult. Just hire a company like prima game guides to write it for you. I know most people look things up on wikis. But just like some people prefer to pay a little extra on deluxe steelbook editions, some like to pay extra for a nice guide. Especially if it has some nice concept art and making of the game material as well
  21. It doesn't have to be the most brutal ai, but if the enemies would just be a bit more challenging that would be great. Hopefully with the dlc or expansion packs, they'll add some more unique enemy typed too.
