  1. Well, if you put it like that...
  2. I'm pretty sure that you can mod the Steam version. The fanpatch for Bloodlines works with the Steam version.
  3. Good news everyone! I hereby resurrect this thread to celebrate Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs The Third Reich's arrival on Steam. About time!
  4. OMG, Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs The Third Reich is on Steam AND on sale. It's a superhero RPG with awesome customizable powers and destructible environments(including buildings), you can throw cars and dumpsters and whack people with lamp posts. Check out the demo if you haven't heard of it.
  5. Yeah, that's the one. The racing mission was near impossible and you also had to get the car there in time without damaging it. The story was really awesome with a great ending. They did release a patch that made it considerably easier though.. and you could drive faster than the speedlimit, but then cops would give you a ticket if they caught you (or try to arrest you if you tried to escape them). It used to be even worse? Good thing I patched it then.
  6. Tvtropes is mostly for the lulz, they bring out the silly stuff. Don't get too excited over it.
  7. Apparently there is a huge number of people who just can't get enough of stumbling around a huge map looking for horrible dungeons or some random quest. I don't understand them, but there's a whole bunch.
  8. Aren't the Space Marines actually chemically castrated? Also, don't forget that imperial spaceships in 40K are actually gigantic flying cathedrals with battering rams.
  9. Yeah, that's the one. The racing mission was near impossible and you also had to get the car there in time without damaging it. The story was really awesome with a great ending.
  10. Actual gameplay footage in the latest Gametrailers TV. It starts about a minute into the second chapter that I linked. The hosts/banter is truly horrible so consider yourself warned! The gameplay looks pretty good, but blood splatter is a tad excessive, though.
  11. New E3 trailer out. Very atmospheric with great music.
  12. The homebrew options are far superior, but I still think that they should shoot the person who though that an optical drive would be a good idea in a handheld.
  13. Maybe the koolaid finally wore off?
  14. Female Shepard FTW! I made mine to look like Christina Ricci. Hmmm... Christina Ricci... Did it really let you go that short? Midgetshep? At least you know what you are going to get with this. Dragon Age is still a wildcard.
  15. I wouldn't call Dreamfall an adventure game but more an interactive movie - how many puzzles are there in the game? I can remember only one. Gameplay is completely reduced to minigames, clunky combat & stealth sections. The story is like a Robert Jordan novel: multiple plot branches are started, but in the end nothing is resolved and it's doubtful whether all threads will ever get tied together again. It is a very good story for discussion & speculation, though. It's very doubtful whether a continuation of Dreamfall will ever appear, with FunCom focusing completely on their new MMO "Secret World"... if things go as smoothly with this MMO as "Ages of Conan" things might get really bleak... Aww, I like the Wheel of Time. Whether or not you like Dreamfall, do you think that it is worth experiencing?
  16. It's not that bad. The story is still heads above the average game these days. People are mostly pissed about the annoying combat and stealth sections. It might not be as good as TLJ, but it's till a good adventure game.
  17. Female Shepard FTW!
  18. At least it looked pretty, until the weird white background end bit. Reminds me a little of the NWN2 CGI intro.
  19. Speaking of Warhammer, this PA strip is awesome AND relevant:
  20. It's also available for DS homebrew. I checked it out, but didn't really play around with it.
  21. Sorry, I though you were referring to the similarities between playing a robot and an active. I'm looking forward to a talky Summer Glau.
  22. If you had actually read the quote, you would know that Whedon doesn't want her to play an active because that would be too much like her other roles. I don't think Summer is a bad actress, she did pretty well in the Terminator episode where she played a normal girl.
  23. Whedon wants Summer Glau on Dollhouse
  24. That version is the Windows one - I guess- and doesn't play well with DOSBox. Did manage to, uh, find, a DOS version though, so I'm back in business, hurrah. It's also on Steam and comes with a DOSBox wrapped.
