You can't be serious. ETW had so many bugs related to crashes, deleted savegames and horrible AI at release that it wasn't even funny. Just because you didn't have any serious problems doesn't mean that the game was anywhere near stable for most people. Just look at the Steam or the official forums.

I was just going to post Homeworld. You forgot the awesome story, great voice acting and music. It's one of the best stories in RTSs if not the best, really makes you feel like you are alone in the vast emptiness of space, just you against the world. As luck would have it, the Squadron of Shame's latest podcast is an in-depth analysis of Homeworld.

I'd at least try the demo before disregarding an awesome game because of some semi-personal beef. Silent storm is awesome even with the mechs as enemies, but once you get the mechs it goes downhill fast.

Of course not. It's still a functional and fun shooter, though. I still play Doom and Heretic every now and then. Not because they are great FPSs, but because they are fun to play.

You'll never even download the updates for WoW. Even a simple 1 Gig update will take like 40h assuming the maximum speed. Seriously online gaming and dial-up don't mix. Try some nice single player strategy games or something. Also, I'm pretty sure the private servers are illegal.

Right. So are there going to be different endings? Where does the whole dark thing come in? Is the boss blight demon actually trying to save the world? And what's the deal with the Half-Naked Plant Lady?

You may want to start some sort of journal or maybe carry around a voice recorder to save all those precious monologues you have with yourself.

Sure, there's a whole bunch of them here. Also check out Good Old Games. If you want something on the PS2, get Shadow of the Colossus it's a bit artsy, but NeoGAF really loves it. As for the Wii, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii.
