That goes without saying. It's just that companies, unlike people, are inherently rational, so there's probably some kind of logic behind this.

It's probably more of a hassle than it's worth, at least from Activision's perspective. A few more sales vs. having everything under one neat little umbrella.

Not only that, but they can put the money they save into something else like marketing and make even more money.

Don't ever pay too close attention to the review score. I watch/link the GT reviews because they give a nice overview of a game, the score is as bad as any other. The game review score scale has been 6-9 for a long time now.

The Charlie stuff was actually one of the better parts of season 1, at least I liked it.

Yeah, but if you ever want to use one of those characters later you can't, because they suck. It's a necessary evil.

Then why did you say that it makes the game "much less enjoyable", on it's own it is totally irrelevant, just another nitpick to throw on the "Bethesda hate pile".

If for someone, the game is ultimately about the stats, they are doing it wrong. Nothing wrong with disliking it, but as I implied before, it's just nitpicking. And, for full disclosure, I did not like FO3 as a game.(it had nothing to do with being able to max out all my skills with Int 1, though)

Yet it doesn't make the game any less playable, just easier.
