Dragon Age
There is a difference between liking something and being totally blind to the obvious shortcoming in game design ie. being a fanboy/girl.(not saying anything about you personally)

Saints Row 2 for 7,50
I switched out the 2.5'' 5400 rpm 80GB HDD from my netbook to a snazzy 7200 rpm 320GB one and it is noticeably faster. It could have something to do with the 80GB one being pretty crappy but the read/write speed is almost twice as fast now.

Good Old Games
Check the game profiles, each of them has at least some extra stuff(sountracks, wallpapers, manuals, etc.) Incoming only has the manual apparently.

So I got to thinking about games communities, Intellectual Property....
I'm just going to say this once, but that is seriously their problem and not Beth's.

Saints Row 2 for 7,50
Yeah, but why not install games on the main HDD and keep other stuff on the USB one? I'd play nothing short of a flash game off a USB interface.

Don't you dare go all Planescape-y on my ass. What I'm saying is that the quality of the game will remain the same whether you call it Fallout, Fallout 3, Fallout: The Anti-NMA Edition or Wasteland Simulator 2010. It's just a sign on the box. Obviously everyone will try to use the name that will get them the most sales, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the game itself. Just because you don't think FO3 is worthy of the name, doesn't make it so.

Fanboys are as bad if not worse than shills.

They all did something right, like the destructible terrain in SS and the super awesome research system and pretty cool real time with pause combat system from UFO: Afterlight etc. Seriously, check out the UFO: Afterlight demo if you like tactical strategy games and haven't played it yet. @entrerix: Names are arbitrary and in the end meaningless. Who cares what they call it, that's the least important thing.

Games you are looking forward to
The fighting would have been great if you actually had to fight people on regular basis. Just beating up a bunch of guards served no purpose, running away was faster and easier.

Saints Row 2 for 7,50
Why would you ever play anything off of a USB interface? That's for storing stuff, not for high-bandwidth low-latency access. Anyway, from what I've heard the PC port is horrible.

Interesting point. I had never really considered that. You learn something new every day. Tactical strategy games and 3D just don't seem to mix(Silent Storm, UFO series...)

Good Old Games
For some reason this reminds me of the Video Game Pitch Meeting(1979).

New Xbox in 2012?
I don't think they even make smaller than 200GB 3.5'' hard drives for retail. There's no reason why the 360 HDD couldn't be 500GB and actually be able to hold some games and media like other modern technology.

Do you also by any chance hate fun?

The release list for 2010 is pretty damn crazy, though.

I'm sure they'll refund it if you ask them nicely.

So the main conflict in AP would be Left and Right?
No one, it belongs to everyone.

I'm probably not hardcore enough to notice it. Heck, I got scared when the dudes in FEAR split up to flank me. AI is pretty much the least advanced aspect of games over the last ~10 years.

So the main conflict in AP would be Left and Right?
There's no party like the communist party!

I'm really the last person to be defending JA2, but it's about as good as tactical turn-based strategy gets.

So I got to thinking about games communities, Intellectual Property....
Lets be fair now, the best tactic in JA2 was waiting around the corner (or better yet in a building) to interrupt shot the guy in head Well, it makes sense. Ambushing has always been a successful tactic.

Why do you hate our freedom? Everyone loves some hot new polish, no?
