WoW to become free-to-play in a few years
Blizzard will have a new subscription-based MMO, enthusiasts will move over, free WoW brings over the free MMO crowd, Blizzard will rake in revenue on microtransactions from WoW while also raking in subscription fees from new MMO. Best way to minimize the cannibalization of the userbase.

What are you playing now
I've played through it more than that. Hiding the extra ending wasn't really that good of an idea, though.

What are you playing now
Bah, even Alpha Protocol managed to make a lame "I'm in a video game" joke.

No, he's just Finnish...- What are you playing now
Did you already manage to experience the awesomeness of ads embedded in the VoIP system?- Now playing: Deus Ex
The key difference is that in games the gameplay changes with the technology, while in movies the same basic concepts have remained through the medium's history. Deus Ex's atmosphere is good, specifically the art style is bland because of one simple reason - the Unreal engine. I agree that the two games don't have as many similarities as Tigranes seems to think. They aren't both set in a "near future real world", DX is set in the near future while AP is set in modern day. Also, Deus Ex isn't really a "spy game" you can be stealthy, but you aren't exactly dabbling in international intrigue.- STEAM!
Run the built-in performance test and let us know how well you did.- Recommend a strategy game
I guess if you can manage with Europa Universalis, you can manage at Disgaea as well. Both are over my head, though.- Now playing: Deus Ex
You can quite easily "fix" the Deus Ex reticule by the second or third mission with a few accuracy mods and/or a laser sight, while you're stuck with a crappy one in AP all the way to the end. I agree on the art style, both are pretty bland and uninspired. obviously Deus Ex has the excuse of being ten years old. As for gameplay, just the level of interaction with the environment in Deus Ex creates a lot more opportunities to deal with situations in different ways.- Why is Obsidian making this?
Speaking of action RPGs, Torchlight is pretty good if you're in need of a quick fix.- Recommend a strategy game
From what I've heard ETW needs all those patches and then some. No idea about the mods, though.- The funny things thread
@ Duke Vuvuzela has reached it's full potential:- STEAM!
I think it had pretty stiff system requirements as well, as in something from the last ~2 years.- What are you playing now
The second part is better, both in gameplay and story, so hold on tight.- Alpha Protocol sales and sequel
A shocking discovery indeed.- Ask Monte
