Greetings, welcome to the forum And remember to be very vocal in your support for Romance in PoE when it comes up in various discussions
-
Yes I do the same, I never skip episodes of a series I'm enjoying. Good call on your side

You right, that's more of an enigma. Unless the teahouse is more modern than what they are saying ? There's actually more than one path up the mountain; the government has closed off some paths because they're dangerous and created safer paths which may not correspond to the original paths the makers of the temple took. There are settlements all up the mountain and a Taoist/Daoist shrine was located at the base, so more than likely they shifted supplies through the settlements in stages. I'd guess - I don't know for sure... That's interesting about the alternative routes, how do you know this if you don't mind me asking ?

Welcome to the forums, I'm confidant you'll have a blast here. Oh and spend time on the Off Topic section, we have interesting debates there
-
Hi Kebrus You right this is a nasty and scary community that is full of people that like to shout...but I'll be your friend...plzzzzz don't go ...plzzzzz If you decide to not go can you support me in my endeavors to ensure Romance is implemented in PoE....then I'll become your BFF and we can really hang around together

Thing is, teh PE beta isn't actually "here, play the first chapter" (or whatever), but sounds more like it's gonna be "here, play this totally unrelated to the campaign module and break whatever you can". Okay that's interesting, if that's the case it makes more sense to play the Beta. But I'll still wait for the finished product

Er.. you're assuming every blast is ISIS. They clearly aren't. Walsie they mention Al-Qaeda loyalists and those are groups linked directly to ISIS in respect to the violence in Iraq

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/01/15/us-iraq-violence-idUSBREA0E0F020140115?feedType=RSS&virtualBrandChannel=11563 There were 6 separate bomb blasts in Iraq today. I'm going to try to remember to post everyone time there is a terrorist attack in Iraq, this is to highlight the continued activities of ISIS

I'm one of those people who never plays a beta of any game. Why ruin the excitement of the story and the events in the game by playing a version of the game that will inevitably have bugs....no thanks, not for me. I'll stick to playing PoE once the first official patch is released. I find this way I generally have no real complaints around overall stability of the games I play

"if a tree falls in the woods, and nobody is around to hear it… and it hits a mime, does anyone care?"

Interesting, very similar to Biltong How long is the shelf life after you take it out the dryer? Do you ever get any mold on the Jerky, I have noticed that after 2-3 days I get a faint white powder on my meat and I'm not sure if this is normal I don't think you're supposed to get any bloom. But you're probably better off asking a proper old Boer. Yeah I'm going to chat to a Butcher tomorrow, its not a big deal but its still something I want to confirm
-
Ouch that is some bad luck, sorry to hear that

Shady how do you make your Jerky, I want to compare it to the process of making Biltong. What I do is typically take uncooked Silverside beef and cut it strips of about 15 cm Marinade the beef in brown vinegar and spices for about 4 hours. I then put the meat in the meat dryer for about 3-5 days. I check the meat after 3 days for the right texture

Pan fried you mean afterwards to give it some color or how does that work? because I am used to make something that sounds very similar only in tinfoil in the oven and grill it a bit in the end. He means you cook the chop in frying pan as opposed to an oven. Its how we cook smaller pieces of meat. I generally do the same with Steak and chops. You obviously can't cook large pieces of meat like this as the meat won't be cooked all the way through but frying chops does add some nice caramelization

Nice, I wanted this KS to be a success I'm playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood at the moment, its loads of fun. I am enjoying the whole Western theme, its a nice change but I realize how much I miss Red Dead Redemption. The only thing I don't like is the gun duels part of the game, its frustrating but I am winning the duels

Yeah the time lapse between the books can take ages, I read them all about 3 years ago and then Dance with Dragons when it was released so the story was relatively fresh in my mind

http://survivetheforest.com/about/ Guys take a look at this horror survival game in development that is set in a forest, it looks like its got huge potential Oh and here is a RPS interview http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/01/14/who-are-the-real-monsters-in-the-forest-probably-you/#more-184357

It does look absolutely enthralling, I just wish it was mandatory for everyone to read the books. Then they would understand true entertainment But if everyone read the books they would know why Tyrion is in chains and we couldn't be all waiting for them to find out all excitedly. True but the books offer more insight and mental stimulation than the movies around the characters and there motives. You can still watch the TV series for the visual experience. If by visual experience, you mean all the fine ladies in the show, then yes, I watch it for that reason. Yes the ladies are well worth seeing, especially Daenerys Targaryen

Same as me, I never install anything to the C: drive

Tonight I'm keeping it simple, fish fingers and mash. I loooooove fish fingers, it always reminds me of pre-primary school and our Friday lunch meal Oh and you have to have Tomato sauce (ketchup) with it

Bringing science into it, that's no fun! ... I think I'm just going to blame my cat. He's probably putting hexes on me for not feeding him in a timely manner. Yes, that's it. yeah it must be the cat
