  1. Of course, remember finding out who killed the Empress and why , the purpose of the Outsider, the daughter reclaiming her throne and similar exciting parts of the narrative. Everyone knows that my son
  2. Lexx... stop being so naughty, that sounds like blatant " Bethesda Bashing " Dont be a hater
  3. Yes Arkane is Bethesda and I agree the narrative is very compelling and exciting as it unfolds
  4. Dont go, I enjoy your views. We can agree to disagree but I would rather hear what you have to say
  5. Hurlshot as a teacher would you use the N word if you were reading a story from Mark Twain? I dont mean would you repeat the word but would you say it out loud as part of the actual story you reading?
  6. Yes I tend to agree, I refer to it as pure Capitalism which ended after 2008. Nowadays as much as we know the principles of the free market work and are sustainable you must have regulation and reasonable oversight from governments in all countries around the private sector But the early centauries of man were very unequal and the indigent and people not born of the upper class lived in terrible conditions in many countries
  7. Nah, its not tired or banal if the references to failed socialist experiments like Zimbabwe or Venezuela are valid because you still have people who espouse " socialism " as a better way forward for most of our economies. So when you can never give any examples of countries where this has worked its important we remember the failures. And I consider the Nordic countries as hugely successful but they hybrid models of socialism and Capitalism and did not do what Chavez, Maduro or Mugabe did. For example Norway's state controlled oil company that has created their very successful sovereign fund is an example of a way forward but the global track record for these types of state controlled entities is littered with failures due to corruption and mismanagement. Nigeria, Angola, Venezuela and Brazil are testimony to that I have no issue with extremely wealthy people. If the 1 % gained their wealth through legal and legitimate means and contribute fairly through legal expectations like taxes that should not be an issue for anyone. But in the USA you do seem to have real examples of very wealthy people not paying their fair share of taxes and thats not right
  8. I am still playing Morrowind and I am loving it, I played this game in 2008 the first time but this time I am using Mods and playing it with more RPG experience in these types of games I am currently on the Third Trial of the Nerevarine Prophecies. I dont understand the criticism towards Elder Scroll games that all quests are shallow and lack quality writing. Yes their are some simple side quests like " deliver shirts to merchant " or " kill brigand " but the entire primary quest around Dagoth Ur and the prophecies is engrossing and deep Also the lore contained in the hundreds of books is very interesting if you enjoy understanding the history in any gaming world The combat could be better but I think the level and skill advancement is a good way of progressing, the more you train in certain skills the better you get so you are encouraged to explore and utilize skills . The magic system offers a myriad of different and exciting types of choices like Enchanting and Conjuration so no complaints their And I appreciate and enjoy how the economy works and how you always need to find money to sustain your adventurous pursuits like buying spells, upgrades to weapons and potions And then their is the size of the game world and how you can just explore anywhere and anything and find new things like crypts, tombs and random NPCS that you can interact with . This is true Sandbox, here is a map of the gaming world just to illustrate this point. Note this map is like Google Maps and you can scroll down to specific features http://mwmap.uesp.net/
  9. Its nice to game again after a break, when I was in transit between my move from JHB to CPT I didnt any gaming for 4 months and it was great to get back into it again ...it made me really appreciate it
  10. Not really, its a large building and easily on some floors Hamas could have some operational facilities. That is what the Israelis are saying why it was targeted and I believe them
  11. Yes that is true, they assisted with lion hunting in packs and would disorientate the lion but didnt do the actually killing historically because a lion would normally kill a Rhodesian Ridgeback in a one on one fight but they are very good hunting dogs when trained or raised like that My dad has had 4 of these dogs in the last 25 years. Monty, Bentley, Wilson and Winston ( bet you cant guess what European country he identifies with ) and only Monty was a effective guard dog and protector ....but he really was a proper guard dog. That is Bentley in the photo and to be honest somehow the Jack Russell intimidates him So all the other dogs turned out to be very timid and quite prone to get nervous quickly...but they are lovely dogs and very affectionate
  12. Apparently you not suppose to feed dogs food like cheese or chocolate ? At my dads house he has always only had 2 types of dogs, Jack Russells and Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the Jacks eat everything and anything ....despite being told we are not suppose to feed them snacks I can never say no to them because they so cute Here is a photo of 2 of the dogs in winter in their best spot to rest
  13. Al Jazeera is a good station and its one of the 5 International networks I follow . During events like this they will be less objective and generally come across as anti-Israel but its understandable
  14. It probably was being used by Hamas as well as Al-Jazeera , it wouldn't surprise me. Malc its well known that Hamas fires rockets from civilian houses and buildings and they know that Israel will respond. Its clear and IMO part of their strategy that they are not only unconcerned with Palestinian deaths but its good for their media campaign as it creates sympathy from the world I think its reprehensible that Hamas is fine with the deaths of people they claim they care about in the interests of a political agenda because part of this latest violence is about political expediency for both Netanyahu and Hamas but at least Netanyahu isnt blithely throwing away the life's of his own people
  15. Not at all, why would you think that ? I want people to immigrate to countries legally and apply the way they suppose to so governments can understand and manage resources based on their number of people who live in the country We have a real crisis in SA with millions of illegal immigrants living in the country, porous borders and no way we can stop them coming. You dont want that in the USA, trust me. The problem is not immigrants , its illegal immigrants and the real drain it puts on limited resources. Read the first link if you want to understand how this societal problem can lead to a unacceptable demands from illegal immigrants and you wonder why citizens are tired of it https://www.iol.co.za/capeargus/news/clock-ticking-for-cape-refugees-to-either-reintegrate-or-be-deported-088c0299-d714-4e18-a4de-3946bf55d7a9 https://mybroadband.co.za/news/government/316101-immigration-crackdown-in-south-africa.html
  16. @LadyCrimson You must trust Azdeus on these matters, Vikings know about sharp weapons !!!!
  17. Its fine because citizens can just leave anytime they unhappy and get granted citizenship in the USA ....and you dont even need papers, you just arrive at the border
  18. GD the CCP love their revisionist history and false narratives, do you know the Chinese propaganda machinery even had the audacity to recently suggest that Corona actually came from the USA...no jokes https://www.ccn.com/did-coronavirus-originate-in-america-chinese-media-pushes-conspiracy/ But thats okay because the Great Wall was actually built by the USA, its true. I promise you, the West is responsible for this great ancient feat of architecture
  19. I initially panicked when I saw this title but after reading the article they arent going to stop making the normal games I enjoy like AC and Far Cry. To quote UPDATE: Ubisoft has told VGC its free-to-play push “does not mean” it will release less premium games. So the title is misleading because they not going to focus on free games but rather add more free games to their gaming catalogue ....phewwwww....crisis over
  20. I have read several interesting psychological studies\opinions that dreaming and sleep is a critical part of how our brains and mental thoughts are kept healthy. So basically these studies talk about how ailments like dementia and Alzheimer's can be more common without sleep. It doesnt apply all the time but with my dads condition this is also what his doctors told him ...so always try to get enough sleep This link discusses this type of medical development https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/319099#Less-REM-correlates-with-dementia-risk
  21. You sound like a CCP apologist Zora, what next are you going to tell us ....that Corona didnt come from China and the CCP respects human rights ?
  22. Malc I had a dream about you last night, we were both in a library and we knew each other very well. We were discussing camping ....I know.... I know... dreams often dont make sense and I normally forget my dreams but when I woke up this morning I did remember our discussion. But you looked exactly like your profile picture SA is apparently about to enter its third wave and experts are saying its inevitable, so I wont be spending time indoors at any social event for the next few weeks to see what happens. I am planning on some good gaming this weekend and its rainy weather so its an excellent time to be inside
  23. Weekend means English breakfast time of course...today I have decided to have a semi-Vegan breakfast to try something different because one of my brothers is Vegan So I am cooking fried eggs, tomato, bacon, pork sausage and hash browns ...you may be wondering " that doesnt sound Vegan" but its semi-Vegan because I am not having Chicken Livers so its a good effort as I am sure everyone will agree
  24. I remember that assassination and how terrible it was and how unusual for Jews to kill other Jews. I also think that was the closest the Israelis and Palestinians came to peace through a two state solution which I still support In Israel they really do believe that even a single Jewish life matters normally. The Israelis released over 1000 Palestinian prisoners for 1 Israeli soldier in 2011. I would never have agreed to that if I was in a government because the potential future risk to my country with releasing over 1000 potential combatants is not worth a single life but I am not Israeli clearly https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilad_Shalit_prisoner_exchange
  25. You wont believe this but her birthday is the same day as mine, 6 August
