I am about 5 hours into ELEX and I have started enjoying it. It has your familiar and standard " Piranha Bytes design " which I enjoy and is replicated in all their games like Gothic and Risen So the gaming design is lots of plants and herds to take Trainers are required to advance skills Factions that you have to decide which ones to join Not much hand holding in the beginning and places on the map with enemies that will definitely kill you if you not tough enough Exploration leads to real benefits and interesting things to find I prefer fantasy settings only but I think I will enjoy this new hybrid fantast\sci-fi setting ? -
But Gorthfuscious we getting distracted by this debate in the sense why spend resources and time on something that is irrelevant and we will never be able to confirm I say irrelevant because the virus came from China irrespective if it came from a lab or the Wuhan animal market. And I say we will never be able to confirm the truth because the CCP has already started denying it came from China and they will always restrict full access to their labs and obfuscate pertinent virus source information anyway? All that matters is stopping the pandemic globally and getting vaccines to everyone I am sorry ZeroHedge is aggrieved but this is just theater to me and doesnt matter to the real objective of ending the pandemic

You see what I mean Shady, English is a confusing language....thanks for confirming it

Its a good point, I have never thought about it before. I dont think I use neutral terms when I describe things but I can see how you can use " they or them " instead of "I " I would typically say ""When a person plays Oblivion, you may damage your psyche" ....maybe that is gender neutral as well? English can be a complicated language

Sometimes markers are convenient and I just prefer them in some games but their is a real enjoyment to being told " find wizard who lives to the east of the forest " and you have to explore and put effort in and you find your target. I dont want to spend hours necessarily looking for things but sometime to explore is fine -
Their is a lot of finger pointing and blaming going on from many countries around the shortage of vaccines. What gets ignored is when many countries, like SA, didnt order vaccines directly and bought in to the flawed Covax program. First priority for every government should be to order vaccines for their citizens But some countries somehow managed to order vaccines and have been hugely successful compared to other countries like the EU and these are countries that are not as wealthy or organized. This link discusses this https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/world/covid-vaccinations-tracker.html

That is interesting so are people who live their Danish citizens in regard to EU access and how does the government in Greenland generate revenue to pay for public services, do they tax people only who live their or does Denmark support them financially? Mauritius is an amazing and beautiful country with very friendly people. The unspoilt beaches and general stunning wildlife makes it well worth visiting
-
Its a not bad idea and I appreciate you thinking about solutions and suggesting Greenland but I am not sure the immigrants will want to live in Greenland because its so cold and I dont think Greenland has the resources to integrate hundreds of thousands of people from ME countries ? Also Greenland is part of Denmark so I assume Denmark would have to agree to this, remember integration costs real money which becomes an economic burden for any country that integrates people so you always have to consider that burden And also we talking about immigrants from the ME which are not coloured\black but they Arabs. They are their own ethnic group. Dont be fooled by the generalized, inaccurate view that their are only 2 ethic groups in the world " white and black " and everything can be characterized on this simplistic view . Their are many different types of ethnic groups in the world who all have their own unique cultures so when you say coloured people that is normally how people refer to black people which again is inaccurate considering we talking about Syrian immigrants

I mentioned in the past that from about 1999-2007 ish I had a break from gaming due to work responsibilities and overseas work travel . In about 2007 I started wanting to get back into our great and entertaining hobby and I played The Temple of Elemental Evil on my work laptop. I then decided to invest in a proper gaming machine when I realized how much I missed it and how advanced games had become A friend in JHB sent me the initial release link of Oblivion and it was this game that made up my mind to definitely game again...I will never forget how exciting it was to read about " this mysterious Oblivion gate that had opened " When I bought my new rig their were 3 games I bought with it. Gothic 3, Morrowind and Oblivion and I played Oblivion last In those days I never even knew Mods existed so I played the vanilla versions but I had a great time So in other words if it wasnt for Oblivion I wouldnt have got back into gaming which means I wouldnt have become active on this forum which means you guys would never have got to experience the pleasure of my company and deep insights of my views ( consider all our engaging discussions around Romance ) ...think how less fulfilled and content you would feel if that hadnt happened .....it would be a disaster So I can never say anything bad about Oblivion because it played such an important part of my gaming legacy. "Oblivion for president " !!!! -
Interestingly enough I was watching Al-Jazeera last night and a show called " The Stream " and this topic was being discussed by 3 guests. Thats why I posted this article, it wasnt something I was aware of. Anyway their was a representative from Denmark explaining the Danish position and he said that Denmark never said the Syrian refugees would become permanent citizens as its the Danish official policy that when a country is no longer a war zone then people need to go home. That was the agreement and as Zora mentioned Syria is not a war zone anymore (Idlib is the last province that is a Syrian rebel sanctuary )....but it has no economy and I cant see this changing as both Iran and Russia have no strategy, interest or resources to rebuild the country. But international pressure needs to be put on them because this was their " non-Western " solution to the civil war in Syria so the question of all the Syrian refugees shouldn't become a burden for places like the EU? Gorthfuscious !!!! Im shocked....where is that famous Danish patriotism that led to your Viking ancestors being the first to really reach northern America ? Of course you Danes like refugees ....that is why you pillaged and terrorized Europe for hundreds of years, you guys contributed towards the refugee crisis for centauries

Did you use Mods when you played it.....and more specifically did you utilize adult mods? Its has been scientifically proven that its impossible for any Elder Scroll game to be boring with adult mods -
The Covax program is a good idea but its designed for countries without money or governments that claim they dont have money. Its a terrible way to achieve " herd immunity" but its the most effective way if you dont have resources For example in Africa the majority of countries immediately signed up to it and SA was a big sponsor and supporter of it but we have also ordered our own vaccines and we have a company that is able to produce J&J. We are the only African country where the private sector made this investment. The biggest problem with the Covax program in Africa is its a round robin system and they allocate vaccines on a per country basis But there are over 1 billion people in Africa and Covax can only give a few million per country and then move onto the next country .....imagine how long that will take to reach " herd immunity " at the current rate. We talking about years before you will vaccinate 60-70 % of the population of each African country that signed up for Covax. Hopefully the supply of vaccines will increase

Of course its an independant country and no amount of CCP propaganda and revisionist history is going to change that John Cena's nauseatingly, obsequious apology and back peddling is embarrassing but I suppose he is doing it for his career and the huge Chinese market he doesnt want the Fast and Furious franchise to lose out on But still, where is his integrity?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mare_of_Easttown This is an excellent series and highly recommended, its from HBO which is generally a good thing Its a murder mystery but the characters and their realistic personalities make it absolutely unmissable
