  1. My view on this type of selective and revisionist history is well known. Anyone comparing the US to groups like the Taliban, or singing the praises of the Soviet Union, clearly havent bothered to research or understand what the Taliban represent and what they have done within Afghanistan so its not worth getting into a debate with people with such little knowledge of the subject they want to discuss

  3. I was thinking about my cooking of certain meals and then comparing them to restaurant food and in most cases restaurant food is always of a better quality and taste than what I can cook. And thats fine because restaurants, for example, which are French themed have trained Chefs in French cuisine so you expect the food to be of a high standard But I do a better cooked breakfast than most breakfast places, thats the exception and I was thinking why my breakfasts always taste better and its because of the myriad of ingredients I cook and the freshness and quality This morning I am having hashbrowns, cheese grillers, fried eggs, toast and boerewors which is a type of sausage Then I eat breakfast with the scientifically, proven best breakfast sauce in the world..brown sauce. If you have never used a brown sauce with your breakfast then you havent lived and I urge you to change your eating habits. Here is an example of a common brown sauce which you should be able to buy where you live, I have tried many brown sauces but HP is stil the best https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_sauce https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_Sauce
  4. Okay good to know you arent betraying the principle of hardcore games entirely , I was worried but I feel much better now Because if games from East European developers start trying to pander to SJW and liberal agendas then we have no chance ...no chance for future entertaining and sustainable gaming that we all enjoy
  5. Last night I had a steak and decided to do something different to create a sauce that I always see being done on the Food Network on DSTV I cooked the steak in a frying pan and once it was done I poured away the excess fatty oils but kept some stock and " burnt bits " in the pan. I then mixed corn-flour with some water and poured that in. That created, as expected, a delicious and robust steak sauce like a bought stock sauce but this was natural and fresh. I then mixed in that a good quality, store bought cheese and mushroom sauce which created this scrumptious hybrid cheese and steak sauce which I used with the steak and potatoes for dinner And it was really tasty 🥘
  6. You make some irrefutable and accurate historical points, but we cant disentangle the Syrian conflict and the Iraq Invasion and its direct influence on ISIS and your timelines highlights that For example the Al-Nusra Front was created in the inferno of the Syrian conflict and you can see the part they played in ISIS if you reference your timeline So yes its one of those agree to disagree that the US invasion of Iraq was the reason ISIS was created, it contributed. But it wasnt the only factor or conflict
  7. You could argue that but its a tenuous and difficult point to make a convincing argument around because of all the moving parts with the creation of ISIS and how to connect them so that the Bush Administration takes most responsibility For example the Arab spring also contributed towards the creation of ISIS with different Sunni militia groups coming together in conflicts like Syria. The Syrian conflict was a result of the Arab Spring and not the invasion of Iraq that created that vacuum you mentioned that I agree definitely contributed towards ISIS But the more important point now in the ME is that no one argues about its creation or debates these things. ISIS is the most hated group and everyone is against them....all countries in the ME that could contribute resources to the final assault on the Caliphate in 2018 did so. It was quite an amazing development for me to see, I have never seen the countries of the ME work together like that and I was very impressed with their commitment because it was a hard and brutal series of battles. Thousands of soldiers from ME countries died in the final days of the end of the Caliphate The conspiracy theories become meaningless when you are dealing with the actual reality on the ground
  8. You right, Im shocked I tell you ...absolutely gobsmacked !!! I always assumed Eastern European developers were hardcore but creating " game soap " just seems below them @Chilloutman and @Mamoulian War Whats going on ...are you guys going to start creating these SJ games that say " no to violence because it corrupts young minds " ?? I am very worried
  9. Good catch Zora and I did frame my point incorrectly. In fact what I wanted to say was " ISIS has killed more Muslims than they have killed Christians, Jews , "Westerners " and other ethnic and religious groups in the ME" . I can see how my post could easily be misconstrued and I appreciate the chance to correct it So when you find anyone but particularly a Muslim, like Omar, feeding false narratives or conspiracy theories about terrorist groups like ISIS, The Taliban or AQ what they must realize is these groups kill more Muslims than Westerners. So you would end up ostensibly defending the likes of ISIS when you peddle conspiracy theories For example believing and repeating " ISIS was created by the CIA to destroy the ME " and similar things. And we also experienced numerous Trump linked conspiracy theories like " ISIS is going to invade the USA through Mexico " https://www.huffpost.com/entry/isis-myths-debunked_n_5875050 I have heard this in SA occasionally even now when around certain global developments and terrorist attacks with some people phoning in on talk shows and denying ISIS is real and claiming its an American plot to control oil supply in the ME Yes its based on complete misinformation and lack of interest in confirming what you say in public is even remotely true but that doesnt make it less irritating and frustrating because it spreads misinformation So with Omar I am surprised she has such a lack of real interest in Islamic extremism and its insidious influence in parts of the world. She originally comes from Somalia and was born in 1982 but left in 1995 to immigrate to the USA, I would have assumed she would know about Al-Shabaab and how it has devastated Somalia. And like Boko Haram they aligned themselves ideology with ISIS But it seems its easier to compare the US military to Islamic extremist groups like ISIS than to call them out despite all the real carnage they have created in Somalia, and other African countries, and still do
  10. Sorry I meant post, not email I understand your view on not debating certain topics, their are also some topics I dont debate
  11. I know how important the Magna Carta is but I doubt I would appreciate reading it. I know why Constitutions exist and how important they are to any Democracy.....no Constitution equates to no sustainable Democracy or economy for any country in almost every example I can think of But I dont enjoy reading them at all, I am happy for others to explain or interpret what our various Constitutions stand for. I know the things that could impact me like nationalization and where in the SA constitution this is unconstitutional but thats all I know I leave it up to the Gromnirs and GD's to debate, I always find it interesting even if I dont understand some of what they discuss
  12. Im a little disappointed you have that opinion, please dont misunderstand me but I dont feel like this type of debate now...I dont have the mental energy because I want to focus on ELEX...I am loving that game 💻 Maybe later if you still want me to change your mind
  13. @kanisatha you opinion on Islamic extremism in the context of my email would be great GD I dont need to tell you this because I know you a patriot who does care about his country, albeit you have some issues with government, and you know the importance of service for your country as you did military service and even if you didnt do military service you would respect the contribution people in the military make. But can I tell you why you should care about what she says ...and this would differ from event to event in the sense " we dont have to care about everything politicians say " 9/11 is and always will be real and significant . The facts are irrefutable and so is the outcome. The USA and by proxy all Western Democracies were targeted by an Islamic extremist group and this was the beginning of the global war on this type of extremism. These extremists ended by spawning into different groups that targeted and killed, and still do, all citizens of all countries. ISIS has killed more Muslims in the ME than any other group and ironically do you know their false Caliphate ( created in 2013 and ended in 2019 ) established in the ME was destroyed by a joint Arab army with the US and Russians providing air power and some special force training only ....but the months of hard fighting on the ground was done by Arab, Kurds , Turks and most incredibly Iranian and Saudi forces working together. Thats how bad ISIS is, even the Sunnis and the Shias in the ME will work together to defeat them. Here is an excellent link about the fall if ISIS for those interested https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/mar/23/the-rise-and-fall-of-the-isis-caliphate But why this matters is since 9/11 thousands of US and other countries citizens have died fighting and defeating Islamic extremism. But it started in this latest era with 9/11 so if you dispute or question 9/11 you are basically dismissing the likes of ISIS and the horrors they, and other extremist groups, inflict on the world. The US military has had thousands of its soldiers die in this important war and Islamic extremism is losing but its something the US is directly connected to So how can any member of the US congress who is suppose to represent the citizens of the US question 9/11 or compare the US army to the brutal and barbaric Taliban We should all be offended because all our countries are impacted by different types of terrorism and its real and ongoing, its not some hyperbolic SJ campaign Thats why you should care about certain things Omar has said
  14. https://news.yahoo.com/ilhan-omar-exposes-democrats-deep-110000166.html I have been following this story and I think her comments are unacceptable and offensive , this is not the first time Iihan Omar has been linked to comments that are anti-Semitic or supportive of Islamic extremism. I am not sure why she is living in the USA or is a member of congress And why havent the Democrats fired her because arent they the party that rejects bigotry and these types of views? Can she be fired ?
  15. https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/6-big-takeaways-from-elden-rings-epic-gameplay-trailer/ Here are some good opinions on this anticipated game and also some relevant views on the George RR Martin influence
  16. I find that type of history very boring. I know its important and some people enjoy it, study it and understand it But legal discussions around Constitutions and changes to Constitutions for me induces somnolence ...I like history about wars and conquest. Thats interesting
  17. That cant be only thing you remember about the important remembrance of your Constitution ....what about when you guys all wear your Viking helmets and celebrate the Colonialization and pillaging of the British ...that must be memorable?
  18. Zora its refreshingly rare to find people who accept the numerous structural shortfalls with their country and are so candid about it, I agree 100% that is a terrible indictment on NZ that you have no Constitution That is why you must never forget to appreciate your Oz relationship and how much you benefit from it , if I was you I would be actively campaigning to fall under Australia as a permanent state Lets be honest, can you think of one reason you shouldnt fall under Australia? Its a win-win and their are no real negative outcomes to this prudent move ? And you have lots of spare time on your hands at the moment so its not like you cant protest on a daily basis and demand this as a citizen....never forget that you have rights !!!
  19. You must have watched reruns? I was also surprised by that fact its 40 years old so I did some research and the action figures were released in 1981 and the TV series in 1983. And their were extensive reruns and some updates of the TV series
  20. Oh my hat, can you imagine the " outrage " if that happened. The Dr Seuss response would pale in comparison compared to a gay He-Man I use to have a crush on Evil-Lyn, she was so hot to my young person
  21. That brings back memories and what a brilliant idea for renewing a classic, I was addicted to MOTU. I collected all the figurines and had the castle and we use to spend hundreds of hours playing with the actions figures, that and the Thundercats were my favorite I am definitely going to be watching this for nostalgic reasons 📺
  22. Wow, that looks excellent and the monsters very aesthetically pleasing and the combat looks frenetic and impressive. Definitely a Controller choice for the PC version I dont think we will see any deep and meaningful party\NPC interaction like Romance but thats okay because I am not sure if games like DS ever have these types of things? Your initial guess was good and as accurate as it could be considering the limited information available....that Dragon battle looks amazing 🐲
  23. https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/stalker-2-release-date-trailer-open-world-everything-we-know/ Oh yes, the release date is somewhere in 2021 but at least we know STALKER 2 is coming out
  24. You make some good points but I am not sure we are debating the same thing, its probably because I havent explained properly what I mean. Their are massive differences and reasons for the creation of institutions like prisons, prison of war camps, detention centers and concentration camps. We dont get to decide our own definitions of what defines these things If you look at the ICE detention centers they only exist to hold and process illegal immigrants or people without papers. They dont target legal US citizens but a concentration camp can exist to target citizens who are legally in that country but they fall under a certain ethnic group, religion or race The ICE detention centers dont do this, they dont target all people from Central America because of their race. When you say people are held without a trial I dont understand what you mean. Why do you need a trial if you are caught trying to cross a border illegally ?Surly either you have papers and you enter a country legally or you dont, thats how all immigration works globally. You are expected to have papers to live, enter or work in a country. You dont need a trial to tell us this ? And in the case of China, I am not saying they are definitely using concentration camps but the CCP has adopted other highly unethical and inhumane measures to " reeducate " the Uyghurs so I have a long list of issues around the Chinese strategy but I am not saying they are using concentration camps because the information we have is limited and so is access to where the Uyghurs live as is usual with the CCP and their control of information And you right, I dont consider the US government to be anything like the NAZI's or even remotely like the CCP and its unlikely I ever will unless the US government starts to act like these governments
