  1. That is interesting so are people who live their Danish citizens in regard to EU access and how does the government in Greenland generate revenue to pay for public services, do they tax people only who live their or does Denmark support them financially? Mauritius is an amazing and beautiful country with very friendly people. The unspoilt beaches and general stunning wildlife makes it well worth visiting 🏖️
  2. Its a not bad idea and I appreciate you thinking about solutions and suggesting Greenland but I am not sure the immigrants will want to live in Greenland because its so cold and I dont think Greenland has the resources to integrate hundreds of thousands of people from ME countries ? Also Greenland is part of Denmark so I assume Denmark would have to agree to this, remember integration costs real money which becomes an economic burden for any country that integrates people so you always have to consider that burden And also we talking about immigrants from the ME which are not coloured\black but they Arabs. They are their own ethnic group. Dont be fooled by the generalized, inaccurate view that their are only 2 ethic groups in the world " white and black " and everything can be characterized on this simplistic view . Their are many different types of ethnic groups in the world who all have their own unique cultures so when you say coloured people that is normally how people refer to black people which again is inaccurate considering we talking about Syrian immigrants
  3. I mentioned in the past that from about 1999-2007 ish I had a break from gaming due to work responsibilities and overseas work travel . In about 2007 I started wanting to get back into our great and entertaining hobby and I played The Temple of Elemental Evil on my work laptop. I then decided to invest in a proper gaming machine when I realized how much I missed it and how advanced games had become A friend in JHB sent me the initial release link of Oblivion and it was this game that made up my mind to definitely game again...I will never forget how exciting it was to read about " this mysterious Oblivion gate that had opened " When I bought my new rig their were 3 games I bought with it. Gothic 3, Morrowind and Oblivion and I played Oblivion last In those days I never even knew Mods existed so I played the vanilla versions but I had a great time So in other words if it wasnt for Oblivion I wouldnt have got back into gaming which means I wouldnt have become active on this forum which means you guys would never have got to experience the pleasure of my company and deep insights of my views ( consider all our engaging discussions around Romance ) ...think how less fulfilled and content you would feel if that hadnt happened .....it would be a disaster So I can never say anything bad about Oblivion because it played such an important part of my gaming legacy. "Oblivion for president " !!!!
  4. Dammit....you right, its not the same thing. Your ancestors really didnt care about refugees, okay you off the historical hook in this case
  5. Interestingly enough I was watching Al-Jazeera last night and a show called " The Stream " and this topic was being discussed by 3 guests. Thats why I posted this article, it wasnt something I was aware of. Anyway their was a representative from Denmark explaining the Danish position and he said that Denmark never said the Syrian refugees would become permanent citizens as its the Danish official policy that when a country is no longer a war zone then people need to go home. That was the agreement and as Zora mentioned Syria is not a war zone anymore (Idlib is the last province that is a Syrian rebel sanctuary )....but it has no economy and I cant see this changing as both Iran and Russia have no strategy, interest or resources to rebuild the country. But international pressure needs to be put on them because this was their " non-Western " solution to the civil war in Syria so the question of all the Syrian refugees shouldn't become a burden for places like the EU? Gorthfuscious !!!! Im shocked....where is that famous Danish patriotism that led to your Viking ancestors being the first to really reach northern America ? Of course you Danes like refugees ....that is why you pillaged and terrorized Europe for hundreds of years, you guys contributed towards the refugee crisis for centauries
  6. Did you use Mods when you played it.....and more specifically did you utilize adult mods? Its has been scientifically proven that its impossible for any Elder Scroll game to be boring with adult mods
  7. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/denmark-revoke-syrian-refugee-residence-permits @pidesco Just to add to our discussion, more EU countries pushing back against the number of refugees they have taken in
  8. Where can I get these free, cheap sexual experiences? I always end up paying
  9. The Covax program is a good idea but its designed for countries without money or governments that claim they dont have money. Its a terrible way to achieve " herd immunity" but its the most effective way if you dont have resources For example in Africa the majority of countries immediately signed up to it and SA was a big sponsor and supporter of it but we have also ordered our own vaccines and we have a company that is able to produce J&J. We are the only African country where the private sector made this investment. The biggest problem with the Covax program in Africa is its a round robin system and they allocate vaccines on a per country basis But there are over 1 billion people in Africa and Covax can only give a few million per country and then move onto the next country .....imagine how long that will take to reach " herd immunity " at the current rate. We talking about years before you will vaccinate 60-70 % of the population of each African country that signed up for Covax. Hopefully the supply of vaccines will increase
  10. No need to worry, I learnt years ago from work I did in the ME that when you are in a country where freedom of speech isnt respected you must be very careful what you say in public or to people that live their
  11. No its not touchy at all, Taiwan is not part of China. Its a global fact and most of us dont care what China thinks we should or shouldn't say in public outside of China....its all part of that elusive, pesky thing that doesnt exist in China, its called Freedom of Speech
  12. Of course its an independant country and no amount of CCP propaganda and revisionist history is going to change that John Cena's nauseatingly, obsequious apology and back peddling is embarrassing but I suppose he is doing it for his career and the huge Chinese market he doesnt want the Fast and Furious franchise to lose out on But still, where is his integrity?
  13. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mare_of_Easttown This is an excellent series and highly recommended, its from HBO which is generally a good thing Its a murder mystery but the characters and their realistic personalities make it absolutely unmissable 📺
  14. I did play them the first time I played Morrowind so I am happy to skip them this time
  15. Yes, that I can easily believe because those jobs exist in sectors that women want to work in
  16. Thanks, once I have finished ELEX I will buy this game. I miss killing Zombies and other post-apocalyptic creatures 🧟‍♂️
  17. Dark how many women in Poland are brick layers or work in construction? If its like SA then very few, this is SEXIST and another example of the patriarchy !!! We need to pass laws to ensure we see proper representation and transformation in this sector
  18. Why am I not surprised with the lack of efficacy from the Chinese vaccines, 50 % or less as the article mentions But I dont see the issue with it only lasting 6 months and needing another jab because my understanding is 6 months is normal for all vaccines .....or rather we dont have enough definitive data to understand how long your Corona anti-bodies created by any vaccine will last?
  19. How would you compare it to Dying Light if you have played it ?
  20. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1259420/Days_Gone/ Has anyone played this game on Console, its just been released on Steam and Epic and it looks excellent. It reminds me of Dying Light and could be my zombie killing fix until DL2 is released
  21. As I always maintain, drones really can be beneficial
  22. You make some good points and I agree with several of them But we cannot or shouldn't underestimate how the initial immigration policy of 2015 increased the support for anti-immigration parties and their influence on the real survival of the EU. I agree that racists have always existed in the EU and euro-skepticism and anti-EU sentiment has been around for decades but this was different The frustration from many people in many EU countries due to being told by the EU, " you must accept immigrants in the interests of diversity and human rights " ( or similar arguments ) led to many people who are not racists or right wing simply rejecting it and voting against the status quo because they felt unfettered immigration was leading directly to an erosion of EU culture and identity. Whether we agree with this sentiment or not the voting success of anti-immigration parties demonstrates this is a real view on the ground in the EU Just take this forum and ask our EU forum members how they feel about immigration to the EU and was the implementation of it in 2015 something they support ? And this forum has got very few racist or right wing members IMO And finally I am not opposed to immigration at all especially when it comes to the EU requirement you mentioned for certain skills. But it must be managed properly and cannot be forced down on all EU countries
  23. The initial policy that Germany would welcome 1.5 million immigrants and this then changed to suddenly hundreds of thousands of immigrants, outside of the initial offer from Germany, arrived on EU borders with expectations they would automatically become citizens https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/oct/08/refugee-crisis-germany-creaks-under-strain-of-open-door-policy Also expecting all EU counties to accept immigrants lead to the rise of anti-immigration and right wing parties that nearly lead to countries like France leaving the EU under the control of bigots like Le Penn. This also was one of the primary reasons for Merkel stepping down this year https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-46020745 I am genuinely surprised you would ask " what mistakes " because the immigration policy implemented by Germany in 2015 was a disaster for the stability of the EU
  24. Just on Merkel, I am a huge supporter of her and Germany. They have demonstrated that a country and its people can recreate their image and their identity after a very violent and dark past. If you look at Germany now compared to how the world viewed them after WW2 they are the perfect example of how any country can become a wealthy and admired country through political will, Democratic values and sustainable economic policies I think Merkel has done an excellent job as the German chancellor and nowadays Germany is considered one of the most influential countries in the EU and they did this without military hegemony The only " mistake " Merkel made was the original, well meaning but disastrous policy around the uncontrolled immigration policy around Syrian and other immigrants But this has now been addressed and immigration to the EU is now better managed
  25. I have decided to play ELEX as my next game, I have very fond memories of Piranha Bytes due to the excellent and memorable Gothic series so I am excited to see how they did with this new game
