I constantly hear this criticism about profit being a bad thing. Its not accurate and doesn't reflect how any of our societies work. Firstly you have to profitable if you are a listed company for several reasons Your shareholders expect their investment to not lose money. The ability of a listed company to make its target is based on it reaching its yearly target which is normally 12-18 % of the previous yearly target. Which means it needs to " make profit " to reach its yearly target You cannot pay dividends, hire new people, award bonuses or grow the company without making profit as that means you now running at a loss because your expenses cannot exceed your revenue stream I am trying to explain why profitability matters in a simple way. The concern needs to be unreasonable margin on goods that make the purchasing price unfairly too high. But their is no normal business model where we should believe " making a profit is a bad thing "

Yes this is the basic rule of the free market and the principle of supply and demand, when their is a demand for something it can directly impact the price. And if that service or items suddenly become scarce then the price goes up but if the item is freely available their is no market driven reason the price should go up You can see this directly in the oil price, when their is an abundance of oil production the oil price stays low. But when OPEC and other oil producers slowdown on oil production the oil price rises

That is a comforting aroma and you made a famous and delicious curry, dont be too hard on yourself for not getting the recipe 100 %. I always learn from similar endeavors and then fix it for the next time I cook the dish Also I am not an instinctive cook meaning I am not good at guessing measurements and quantities and if I dont follow the recipe properly its normally not how I wanted it So invest in a kitchen scale, I have one and its worth it to avoid having to guess quantity and amounts. And this can make a difference at the end

I was just pondering how their cant be a much better gastronomic smell than bacon, frying in a pan ....and you have that unctuous aroma wafting through the kitchen.....delicious !!! And some people dont eat bacon....why deny yourself that great treat ?

I am making my own hashbrowns for breakfast instead of buying frozen ones, its an easy recipe. You just fry sliced uncooked potatoes in oil and butter and then I am going to cook for 10 minutes on 180 Celsius

Im really at the honeymoon period in Far Cry 4 where all the activities and side quests are great fun and thoroughly entertaining Riding elephants to battles, hang-gliding and general exploration always reveal something new. As I mentioned before this is what Ubisoft is best at. They have a good game design world and the mechanics work nicely to provide a refined and compelling gaming experience

I am watching several exciting series and new seasons that include FBI, Rookie, High Town, Law and Order (SVU ) and Walker I also finished the TV adaptation of The Stand, based on the Stephan King book. Absolutely brilliant and highly recommended

Well I am not sure the Biden interview was that bad. We all know he is at an older age and comes across in a more " reserved " way so I didnt see anything out of the ordinary But his age doesnt seem to concern most of the media that much ... why are people like the beautiful Kaitlan Collins (CNN WH Correspondant ) asking him " are you going to run in the next election" !!! WTF.....what kind of question is that, I am just worried he will last to the end of this term and I mean that in empathetic way. I would be very concerned if he has another 4 years
