I'm trying to say, it's legal for all the wrong reasons. but that has to do with my view of modern economy in general. while in essence both acts are the same, the fact that the game is played by a single person rather than a thousand makes it tolerable for the publishers. which makes sense business wise, but not morally (how ironic)

it's an old console game, that's been included in the best games of all times lists so many times, I hate myself for not having played it when i could have

that's my point though. what's so bad about it, when you take second hand sales into consideration. I mean "pitting" the two. imho, torrents are way better and more sensible

I don't see how buying a second hand game is different from downloading it. only in the first case you actually pay money to the guy. I don't think it's possible to convince me second-hand sales are more "legal" than torrents

it is, since you're supporting the pirates anyway. but sometimes that's what you have to do, since many releases are more stable than what the publisher is selling.

this. I'll be getting Skyrim for x-mas, since a lot of you seem to be really enjoying it. I only ever played Morrowind, and there's one thing it taught me: if you're not playing a Breton, you're doing it wrong

I'm actually looking forward to it. 2D stylized RPG, c'mon. how many of these from major studios do we get? South Park, Simpsons, whatever. you must've forgotten all those licensed NES games, based on god knows what, they were still good. (Duck Tales anyone? Chip & Dale?) oh and DARKWING DUCK! edit: actually, is this the 2D game we've been hearing about?

that's odd, I found GTA 4 to be the best in the series since GTA 2 everything about it is awesome. I wonder why am I in what seems to be a minority

that's why Final Fantasy XI was awesome :D it was not a casual game by any means, but the leveling up part was the most fun I ever had in an MMO game
