  1. are they trying to outrun Diablo III?
  2. IIRC combat in teh Witcher was very much like in DAO, only special moves (combos and such) were handled differently
  3. I suppose this is how the game justifies having attributes that affect "accuracy" in real-time combat
  4. one of the graves somewhere around Goodspring contains a custom weapon, never found it myself
  5. that annoyed the hell out of me I'd always have to find a spot without any obstacles between me and the target. usually it resulted in me being detected
  6. Lady C did ask not to tell her where the other globes are
  7. the video doesn't do it justice then? it certainly doesn't look any good to me
  8. if Im not mistaken, AGI does affect run speed, it says so on that diabolical contraption that lets you distribute ability points at doctor's.
  9. there's 7 in total, and 1 you can get only after you do a certain quest for Mr. House. btw, Mr. House is the one who collects them. he'll give you 2000 caps per globe.
  10. ALL the skills? in what way? raises them like INT does science? as or the headshots in close quarters - never had a situation like this, one sneak attack is usually enough to kill or at least put an enemy in a near-death state. now, shots to limbs might be useful when fighting multiple enemies. AGI also affects running speed, I think.
  11. because I didn't see it that way it says +5 critical chance, not +5 luck in the description. point is, if I can get away with 3 luck, and only using one piece of gear (head, where you don't get anything useful 'til endgame anyway) can get steady criticals, what's the point of having a high luck and sacrificing END or PER?
  12. it just looks really bad... not what you expect from games in 2010. the animation is weird. not sure if that's a spoiler, but you can ride a horse and it's the worst horse animation I've seen in years.
  13. I do always aim for the head, so yeah, that's why I'm getting all the criticals, never use VATS though. the point I was trying to make: Luck is still useless, even for a sniper (who should be crouching while shooting anyway).
  14. oh, right, I had Finesse and Boone's beret.
  15. how the hell did I miss THAT?
  16. o rly? you mean it's possible to drive it too?
  17. my sniper had a Luck of 3 and every second hit was a critical, does this mean that *every single* hit by you is a critical then?
  18. do you have the water breathing thingie?
  19. thanks but it's no use telling me now, I managed to miss it with the Explorer perk. I guess I just forgot about it
  20. ugh, seems I missed a Vault. it's certainly not 34, that one's swarming with ghouls. it's not 3, 11 or 22 either...
  21. ha! you're right, a striking resemblance
  22. nonono, you got me all wrong, it's not "my" opinion, I'm just curious what are the other 14-19 games in your top
  23. get rid of Boone while you still can, grab Arcade, he's weaker and more intelligent - exactly what you need
  24. oh man, I feel sorry for you so many great games in the last 20 years. Origins couldn't make it into my top 50 even if it begged.
  25. her quest involves talking to colonel Hsu, who will give you another quest to find a ranger in Vault 3. another quest from her you can get is to find another missing ranger. EDIT: oh, maybe you can get the quest directly from Hsu once you've found Anderson in Vault 3, tended to his injury and persuaded him to go back to camp McCarran. also, Vault 3 can be really tough if you don't have a high speech skill, I managed to buy the leader's helmet for my bounty, because I didn't want to fight my way outside through. there's gonna be a couple of captives on one of the levels, don't worry and open the cage if you can, they will sneak out on their own and the gang won't attack you.
