  1. it's a pretty bad game. what can you do? I dropped it after the mission in the jungle against the russian mercs

  3. that's right, Shiny made the first game, right after Earth Worm Jim 2, I think. easily my favorite development studio

  6. definitely give it a try, C, it's too good a game to pass on just because of the graphics and combat

  9. It makes sense in the game's context, because the courier is a friggin' one-man army. but all the talk about not letting strangers in is getting really old, because in every game the protagonist joins the BoS in spite of that.
  10. since they keep letting all kinds of strangers (vault dwellers, couriers, villagers) join them, I can't take any of it seriously. I got tired of California's BoS way back in FO1, Obsids should just destroy this faction in a spectacular manner and leave it to others to keep making silly spin-offs.
  11. ironic. one would expect Tactics to give the whole idea of who they are damn Micro Forte, couldn't they do a little bit more research?
  12. nailed it the cartoony look was ok for the first game, but sticking with it for so long... god, what were they thinking?!
  13. haha, actually, I do but, I don't think comparing Mario to Lara is fair. the games have a decade between them.
  14. but it wouldn't hurt to add some depth and drama to her story, right? I mean, I've only played the original game, I liked it, but I never felt the need to try other titles.

  16. riiiiiiight, any person, who thinks, that Two Worlds 2 had bad physics, voice acting and design, is an idiot, obviously anyway, collision detection sucked, animation sucked. so much for physics. voice acting... I don't even want to go there. design. most areas are awful. but there are some, that stand out. I liked the cursed grounds (what I didn't like was the enemy spawning every few steps). I didn't like that every town or location has a very distinctive design (ancient ruins to middle eastern, mixed with medieval european to south-east asian, all in first 2 chapters), too much contrast. I can buy the whole "a castle built on top of ancient ruins" thing, but having a completely different architecture, inspired but another culture just miles away is just awful. so, what's left, graphics? graphics are good, I'll give them that.

  18. that was the whole game for me, played for 10 hours, same picture at every turn. stopped right before going to the only town in the game, maybe that was my mistake. but it does start very slow, and most enemies are hard as hell if you take as much as a step off the path

  20. I thought he said that she already had been a researcher at the time of the ship wreck. implying that we won't see a little girl but a young woman that lost her parents blah-blah-blah
