  1. he does have a point. I once tried looking for beat-em-up games for PS/PS2, that allowed 2 players to play through the game together, and it turned out not many games existed. Dynasty Warriors indeed plays like one, but in full 3D environment and with hordes of enemies. as for the "Citizen Kane of video games", I can't comment since I have no idea what he means
  2. that.. voice acting... must... resist... AAARRRGGH!
  3. he's a programmer
  4. and there's nothing wrong with it
  5. +1 to saving throws
  6. indeed, 'cause it's free
  7. lol "That's right, Neverwinter is shifting from the co-operative multiplayer game that was announced last year and into full-fledged, free-to-play MMO territory. In fact, it's shifting towards the action end of the MMO spectrum." never saw it coming
  8. I'd say they're equally awful
  9. I always chuckle when I hear that name (Kotick), since it means "kitten" in Russian.
  10. if only these forums had a dev-tracker tool to be able to follow dev posts... *sigh*
  11. Dungeon Siege 3 was "grindy"?
  12. I approve, we should petition Bethesda to add it to the lore in FO4
  13. Tartakovsky's Clone Wars are much better style wise, if there was a stylized SW game like that, I'd play it to death
  14. who'd want to play it when their two latest releases - ArmA 2 Combined Ops - cost 11-20 euro...
  15. I'll agree with VA being essential in such a case. rare actor can sound the same or better than a character does in your head. I can't agree with the graphics argument though. Monkey Island games come to mind. or Fallout
  16. save for instances where the original Director remakes his own movie (M.Mann's The Heat is a perfect example of this), every remake will be different, because it's very hard to replicate the actors' work and the direction without missing something, and sometimes these missing pieces are essential. games work a bit differently, as far as I understand.
  17. the poll was among kids of 10-16 years old, it seems
  18. FF 9 didn't even make it into the top 20? what is this... I don't even...
  19. it's not a very good FF game, to be honest. I'm actually quite surprised they didn't choose X-2 for remake
  20. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/09/13...d-fps-revealed/ speaking of making FPSs out of every franchise EDIT: hmm, mys source stated that this was not a joke. but Serrano clarified that it actually was. go figure
  21. where's all the talk about Dead Island? is it good or bad? I heard some people say it's a "classical RPG", true/false?
  22. ugh I never tried to hurt you, if that's what you're implying. I'm just stating an opinion: The Witcher is a game made for the hardcore crowd, but aimed at a slightly broader audience, to try and sell to a bunch of a bit simpler gamers. it seems our understanding of the phenomenon "hardcore rpg fan" - yours and mine - differs greatly
  23. it's not. it was made with you in mind though
  24. are there plans to release Bodycount on PC? I mean, will there be a demo?
