Considering the difference seen here between the game and the promotional material we should also give TR the benefit of the doubt. SQE seems to have some very markety marketing at the moment.

Considering the keywords next-gen, unannounced and console this sounds more than a pitch/too specific for a pitch. Ofc, no way of knowing. Following months will bring clarity.

I can just assume you are not serious here 1. You're asking a bigger group of people to leave their homes and relocate. 2. Obsidian still consits of ~90 people. How many people do you want to kick out of their job exactly? Both of these go hand in hand. And both of these could result in losing even more important Obsidianities.

Is that a remake of a PS2 game, or a completely new one? I once played a Tensei game via PS2 emulator...suffice to say, it was "interesting". And hard as ass. Are you talking about this? (There were multiple other Megaten games as well on PS2) If so, that was the third. This is a new one, yes. Though, Megami Tensei games can generally get hard.

If (for example) Persona 4 is the cancer of the video game industry we still have it plenty good. (Can't speak for Unchained Blades though, know nothing about that)

I dunno. No "real" role playing game but some entertaining titles nonetheless. I'm interested in The Secret World (Just for Ragnar), Persona 4 Golden (the original version was quite fun), The Last Story (already played it, though), Paper Mario 3DS (Paper Mario and TYYD were both excellent, hopefully this is a return to form) and maybe I will check out B&W2 down the line just because,

Well, Chris said that the Wasteland Kickstarter didn't influence work on their own kickstarters. So, I'd think someone's working on it. Though, it has been a long time. And as I ranted before ^^ I still see it as a mistake that Obsidian didn't chime in at the beginning of the whole process. Projects still get funded (and I have no doubt in my mind Obsidian's will get as well) but the enthusiasm has died down and with it massivly overfunded projects.
