Has anyone noticed that the girl in the 4th picture has the same silhouette as the girl with two guns on the official site?
Yep, the sleeves give her away.

To prove that I have no shame, here is a link to StarWarsKnights.com's synthesis of a selection of the previews, plus some other bits and bobs. Do pass it on to other forums if you can, we could use the traffic. >_>
Do I have to read this sarcastically? I mean. Nothing against negativity if its sufficently explained but stuff like this:
On story points, the Gamespot previewers were given control of Lucas Montbarron son of a member of the 10th Legion, and a fighter. A fighter with a name suspiciously similar to a certain British viceroy of India, assassinated by the Provisional IRA in 1979. If this sounds like an odd point, the first thing Gamespot reviewers did was to take Mountb-, Montbarron home, to find it rapidly burning to the ground. Stay this subtle, Obsidian...Stances available seem to be a sword-and-shield combo (leading to the inevitable -
EDIT: Also, this is just me being curious, but why have you guys ditched the stylized tree for dialogue? The new dialogue wheel looks.. normal.
Yeah, thats what I wonder about it too. The tree really fit the very stylized look of the game. The new one looks disconnected.

I guess all we can do is await an official explanation.
Less an explenation, more an announcement of the multiplayer.
Again, nothing about the MP was final in these builds. This was stated. By multiple previews.

It's like selling a car with the doors, windows and everything on the dash optional. Is it a car ?, yes, is it what you wanted - no.
No, it isn't. You couldn't even USE that car.
You can completly finish a game though.

Dude, chill out, I'm simply commenting on his post. Not on the situation at large. He's claiming drop in/drop out isn't possible with created characters. I'm just pointing out that it is.
It's probably right, considering that there's no character creation in the first place.
I think its less about creation and more about using their own leveled and skilled charachters.
Which is a pretty valid complaint. But again, no info on this one.

Let's put this very simply:
There is absolutely no feature Obsidian could possibly implementing, that would be more important than having people play as their own characters and enjoy the full breadth of gameplay in ALL COOP MODES. If there is some feature (like the AI) standing in the way of this, ditch that feature.
Has still nothing to do with anything.
We still don't know what the multiplayer will be about. Thats the point. More is to come.
We don't even know if it actually will look like this in the end. It isn't final. -.-
I respectfully disagree. If the rumours were false, we'd at the very least have a comment from the developer about it. And even if they are false, it is still valuable, while there is still development time remaining, to make sure the developers know exactly how important a feature this is. So that way, if the rumour is false, we have lost nothing and we get what we want. If the rumour is true though, enough noise might cause some reconsideration, and a change of direction and save the game from mediocrity.
They may have gotten the memo when it was all posted over the internet. Thanks.
Also the rumor is a rumor and uses something as basis that is incredibly vague.
Edit: Sorry, I'm not saying you don't have the right to complain. It's just that its way too early to complain.

I would like to remind of their "drop in/drop out" system. You come to your friend, take a second gamepad and - voil

So far all of our information points to no Created Character Co-op. Once we see otherwise it's a different story.
Noooo, it points against it.
What we know FOR SURE is that more information regarding multiplayer is withhold from the public. Thats what actually points to other multiplayer options. Heavily.

Sacred 2 and Everquest: Champions of Norrath both allowed for very simple drop-in and drop-out of a secondary Created Character. This is not new technology. If they do not implement the ability to play with multiple Created Characters I know that I will not be playing it. Several of my friends and myself are excited as hell about this game, because we want to play it together. This is a make or break deal not being able to play our own character in multiplayer.
If I pay for the game I should be able to play MY character. People who do not own the game and want to see what the game is all about can be my sidekick. Please Obsidian read your boards. See what your fans want. Make it so.
oo
What does ANY of this has to do with the initial problem/argument?
What are you people talking about.

Mysterious. At least this confirms that Obsidian has no intention to join a publisher completly. (Bethesda rumors)

Movie wasn't bad, a nod towards the game but not exactly canon.
Gah PC claptrap. Outside Hollywood girls don't wield swords (mostly). I really hope I don't get stuck playing a girl. I've got the game pre-ordered via Amazon, which means I won't get it until 'til about June but 4 characters only and at least one girl. Obsidian needs to release some really convincing preview info. The graphics are sweet but I'm not interested in staring at a sweetly rendered girls backside for 24 hours or however long the game takes to clock. Actually I'm not interested in staring at a guys backside either but at least that's easier to tune out
oO
Anyway
A little unrelated but someone uploaded a youtube version of the 4players video
Edit: Also I'm pretty sure big boobs girl is the gunslinger.

MMO what?

The shape is now changed and is showing off a guy who holds a snowglobe or something in his hand.
-
Either the sites are not up yet, or Marten, Odo, Jayne, Leona and Vera are not playable characters.
Oh, I see they changed the silhouette of one of the playable characters.
Probably not. Don't forget these four are probably meant to be only the main charachters you can choose from.

Some info in the about page as well. Looks like the last hero will be a warrior-like class again?
I'd say it has to be a fast meele fighter.
-
Okay Obsidian, who wrote that
?
I'd guess Ziets. The timeline for sure and this also looks like him.

Interesting how according to this the hero of DS 1 is made canonically female. Obsidian must've wished to erase any memory of Boll's movie.
We knew that since a while. Makes sense, considering DS's box art.
Why, was that already in DS2?

Also interesting: PEGI 16 rating?PEGI 16
This rating is applied once the depiction of violence (or sexual activity) reaches a stage that looks the same as would be expected in real life. More extreme bad language, the concept of the use of tobacco and drugs and the depiction of criminal activities can be content of games that are rated 16.
No wait. Doesn't surprise me that much.

Ok but the crazy thing is that why isn't Obsidian saying that the article from Destructoid is false ? Unless I missed something somewhere, they haven't said a word on multiplayer.
Their current plan is to keep quiet about it (like several previewers said). We'll get more information later.
-
Four are ok, if each of them has its own origin story at the begining.
BTW: DSIII Box Art
WOW That looks sweet.

I have to disagree. Sacred 2 looks worse (still pretty great and due to elite textures higher resolution). Especially in motion.
Especially look at the ground detail/textures and compare this
