  1. The minigames are by far the smalles of the concerns when it comes to AP. By no margin a bad game, just with many issues.
  2. PC version Mission: The Jibril ID mission in Rome. Problem: When point sniper at either prostitute or van der Graf person, Mina does not speak, sniper stays locked on the persons head forever. When try and shoot everyone, it says objective complete and nothing happens, game stays on the same area and does not progress. Any way you look at it, game is stuck there and there is nothing I can do to progress in it any longer. No other missions I can atm, only one.
  3. You should all be happy that you can even play your game, some of us are stuck on the ID mission in Rome with no hope to ever pass it, because of glitches and bugs. Also yes, another hub with more missions would be wonderful, as would more weapons.
  4. Use a cracked .exe since you own the game, atleast you can play what little there is before a glitch locks the entire game at one level and does not allow you to go any further. (Atleast for me)

    Jerky mouse fix

And the sniper spazz has still not been fixed, and Obsidian aren't breathing a word to the community about anything.
  6. Online deactivation, when it's up, or seing as you bought the game, get a cracked .exe for it to work.

    Dialogue not playing

Ok this is absurd. Here is what happened. I tried an extra 20 times to ID both the hooker and vad der Graf, nothing, ok so I try and kill them. Took me 3 hours to actually do it, because no ammount of tweaks managed to fix the retarded jerky sniper scope bug, normal mouse is ok, but both turret and sniper are just frustratingly bad. Ok after 3 hours of trying I manage to kill all the running guards so that it's not mission over, and after that... nothing, pure nothing, and I got the objective complete messege, 500Xp and a perk, and still nothing happens. I even shot the hooker then, then the TV in the upper room, both camares, and still nothing, the game remained in that state for one hour after which I turned it of and facepalmed. Ok, seriously, WTF is going on with the mission. I want to play the game and I'm stuck on a simple, point the crosshair at everybody mission, because of the games numerous glitches. I am pissed off, I love AP and want to actually play it, this is not what I payed for.
  8. Agreed, though the stealth armor looked passable, I do not want to look like a lowlife thung, but it would be nice to have the option, for all the "gangsta" kidies.

Obsidian, come on, help your customers with this issue, it is currently stopping us from playing the game, rendering it unplayable.
  10. Strong community is in the making, though we still need some tools from Obs, at the very least a patch to get things going with making the game better.
  11. Be happy you can play it . Stuck on the Rome Chateaeu mission because of the stupid glitch.

Same here, I wonder why it works for some people and for others we are stuck forever on this part.
  14. Just as I thought, I know that Obsidian aspire to quallity, this (if true) just proves that the game industry needs to take it's head out of it's ass.
  15. Good review, a little biased, but it is expected, overall it shows that you took time to analyse the game for what it does, you are giving it a bit of layway, but it's ok, good, objective oppinion.
  16. Actually, due to a slow PC, I often have to restart the lock picking minigame, because the picks move so slow as compared to the mouse and the time just isn't enough if the first tumbler is long, so I only use EMPs for craking safes, because they start an alarm if you right-click out of the mini-game. Acing every other minigame with ease.
  17. Actaully it is because the developer is just not among the top in the industry, having done a lot of game reviews, and stopped doing it, because the boss said, you can't give this game such a bad review, it's from BioWare. I was reviewing Dragon Age, praised it for what it did right, and layed out what it did wrong, not a bad review, I still think the game is quite good, but no game is perfect, save for a few niche classics, that don't offer that much, but do what they do perfectly. Reviews tend to put down a game because it's not what they expected also, instead of reviewing it for what it is, they review it for what it is not. This is why I constantly say the Obsidian needs to look at other games with the elements of AP, because it can do what it does so much better, it's not Splinter Cell, but it can be much better than it with a bit of more work put into it.
  18. We are in an age of gaming where the only innovation and progress that can be made is through combination and refininf, unless someone actually listens and makes a good motion control system. Thus we get more and more hybrids, some good, most of them, bad, AP is among the good ones, although it does not combine them in a way that fits with todays standards, if it had come out when it was done ( Yes SEGA it is all your fault ) it would have been the benchmark for it's time, but this is what happens when a publisher tries to help the game, fail ( not that AP is fail, just a case in point ) . Hopefully for AP2 we can have the good amalgamation of mechanics that was expected for AP (no that the ones we have are bad per say, it's just that there are games which do it's individual elements better, and not by a little ) .
  19. Also the difficulty of hacking has more to do with the computer you are hacking. Take this weirdness for example. In Rome, where you infiltrate the CIA base, there is this latop with some emails I think, for me it had 4 symbol combinations and the protocols shifted every 5 seconds, while the giant mainframe thing had 8 symbol combinations and they shifted after like 9 seconds. GO figure, weirdness on Obsidians part.
  20. It hurts my eyes to read the comments about it, just put a finger to the monitor and look and constantly move both codes, it's not the mini-game's fault it's challenging, it is hard at first, but it gets very easy after a few times. And if you see that you don't have time, just right-click. Enough with the retardation with these comments about how the mini-game is badly designed and strains the eyes, don't look into it's soul, just scan till you see the code. Honestly, when did gamers become such c*nts. Also nothing written here is aimed at people with bad eye sight, if you have a health issue, please neglect what I wrote, as for all of you perfectly OK, the game is too hard for me, sisies, try harder, drop and give me AF6KS9TD A3K7JDS5
  21. My point on the combat seems to be also taken wrongly, due to my bad phrasing. I do not mean take the RPG away from the shooting interelly (oh eff you and your spelling, I aint english) . What I mean is tone it down, keep it there, but less prominent, a headshot is a headshot, and unless he has a helmet he will die if I hit him at a reasonable range with the weapon that I have, so just make headshots always criticals, but make them hard to get, make enemies move around a bit more, for body shots, please, by all means, calculate baby, but with reason, there is no reason why an Al-Samad terrorist can soke up more bullets than a G22 operative, unless his skin is thougher :D . So yes, please neglect that point in the way it is phrased, that was mostly for the headshot survivors (Yes I know that people have survived headshots, but they are a dime a dozen) .
  22. I holehartedly agree, the only thing he might take from Fisher is the logic of crouching after rolling and learning that walls are not candy.
  23. And also, poeple, please stop acting like I said they are the same game or in any case have the same number of bugs, you might have few bugs, I have a lot, it is the PC gaming curse. Here we only talk about the simmilar and whether or not both games are exceptional achievements in RPG development hampered by a few gnashing flaws.
  24. As a long time RPG gamer, I can say but only one quality which matter, does the game make me loose sleep because it is fun/interessting, if yes, then it is a good RPG. Gothic made me go to bed Early, just so you know. (Damn that game was generic)
