  1. 30 Helens agree.
  2. While I agree that there seemed an inherent "clunkyness" to NWN, the combat animations themselves were not part of it. They were very fluid, albeit limited in number, but still looked good...not KotOR2 good, but still.
  3. What else would I have meant? I just didn't put it quite as eloquently
  4. Yeah, well, that will be your little secret, Voly.
  5. They're not worse, theyre just as bad as NWN1 and the KoTORs. I know its easy to forget it if you play alot or Aurora games, I didnt realise until a friend of mine asked me if his GFX was broken because KoTOR stuttered so much. Theres ws nothing wrong with the hardware, just the way the engine handles switching between animations. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, NWN's combat animations (sidestep of death or whatever notwithstanding) were very fluid, as were KotOR's (both of them).
  6. Far Cry
  7. What game is it? You can always try and search the internets.
  8. I'm going to go ahead and agree with this.
  9. What was the whole deal with soil erosion in Oblivion, anyway? It certainly wasn't something I ever noticed.
  10. You were right about bad news...congratulations.
  11. not much more need be said, really.
  12. What is this tearing you speak of.
  13. Note to Atari: Trailers are meant to make people want to PLAY the game... not making people want to look for other games <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FIXED
  14. Huh? Seem to be the bottleneck or cause the bottleneck?
  15. I'm not sure how to take this whole "stronghold" thing. I'm playing spellforce 2 right now, which blends RTS with RPG (very light on both, actually, but a decent mix). I'm sure I can handle the whole army thing, but that certainly isn't something I was looking forward to in NWN2...seeing it is manditory. That's a strike against the game for me, right now. If they do it well, it may not deter from the rest of the game, but if they implement it poorly, it will probably sink the game...
  16. I've heard that processors have less of a throttling effect on graphics cards nowadays, anyway.
  17. Awe man... this sucks.
  18. Okay, great... But what exactly does that mean? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ask Socrates.
  19. In my room I have an empty box. There is nothing in it. Sure, you can argue that there is air, gravity, electromagnetic fields or whatever, but then you're just moving into the realm of being a pseudo-intellectual ass. There is NOTHING in the box. I also know nothing about programming a physics engine for video games. That bit of nothing certainly exists. True wisdom comes in the knowing that you know nothing. This thread means nothing in the Big Scheme of Things .
  20. You're shocked? Why? There's nothing shocking about that commercial at all.
  21. Sounds good.
  22. Yes, some good games came out of the infinite engine, but it is SEVERELY limited in what it can do.
  23. Sounds unfun.
  24. You know, I'm surprised LA hasn't tried to capitalize on Pazaak with some sort of retail card game. Imagine if such a thing caught on big and everyone carried around their own side deck for any given moment.
