  1. Agreed.
  2. I'll let that gnome rot in the cargo hold of the Ebon Ha--....I mean the cellar of the stronghold.
  3. While I agree with the majority of your posts, what, exactly, is America's interest in this? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *snip*. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So, their interests include (after quickly scanning your post) covering up massive failures regarding bin Laden, forming a permanent US force in the ME, and giving friends of the GOP first refusal regarding all the potential profit? Is that basically what you're saying? If so, they've failed in more than catching bin Laden. Not saying you're incorrect in your assessment, just that they've done a piss poor job of completing these (and any) goals and an even worse job of hiding their self-interests. This "conflict" is young compared to others such as Vietnam. How many presidents had to suffer through that conflict? How long did it take before a quagmire developed into a crisis situation costing tens of thousands of American lives, let alone countless lives of those we were fighting. This "war" is young.
  4. Car companies aren't to blame, or maybe are only partially. For automobiles are dependent on the propulsion system which they use. If you want to sue someone for something like this, sue the oil companies for giving the public the stuff that actually harms the atmosphere. Car companies can only do so much, as regardless of whatever system they use to reduce emmission, the fact remains that fossil fuels are still being used which will always have harmful byproducts. Also, it is the oil companies who are stifling progression to newer, cleaner forms of energy, thus they are the ones who must share the blame in this matter of global warming . However, that being said, the general public must take the rest of the blame for they are allowing this to happen. It is funny, as someone pointed out, that people are much more commonly aware of the harmful effects of the byproducts of fossil fuels, yet they still must use them in order to get where they're going, especially to any courthouse for any number of rediculous lawsuits (not naming any names here). If the general publich truly cared about the harm being done to this planet, we would change our ways or demand a feasible alternative post-haste...which we are not. Thus, we are all to blame; automakers, oil companies, and the public, alike.
  5. I like the sound of the blade golem (if they give it some sort of personality ala Nordom or Vhailor), and the elven wizard, but I sure hope none of these companions are manditory. I do not like the sound of that gnome.
  6. So, we're onto oblivion now, eh? I had way more fun with Oblivion than NWN (OC, here). Something about being able to be a orcish tank that settles things with fists (much more fun that anything else I tried), and just pounding everything to a pulp. Of course, I never made it to the hardest "level" of spawned enemies, but it was still fun.
  7. A confused Englishman? Hagh! Who'd have thought? Yeah, I know that makes no sense...pay me no mind.
  8. The times in Fallout when I was waiting "minutes" between turns really seemed few and far betwee, and never did they happen with rats involved. Only major time I can remember was in the Boneyard where everyone in town had to move because that was essential a town battle in turn based. A little annoying, but definately not enough of a detriment to make it horrid. I'm not sure how many times I've played Fallout and still like the combat. Something about it is just fun and it can't be explained. Oh, and if you can't hit anything, you're obviously not good enough with whatever weapon you have equipped. I suggest raising said skills.
  9. SHHHhh!!!!!!! Don't give the secret out, or you will ruin the internet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I can see these forums dying a quick death.

  12. This is the next step to immortality. Eventually we will no longer need a body. Just something to send messages to our brains... The trick is to make our brain last longer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe we can find a solution by carefully watching Futurama... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We've got to get our inspiration from somewhere. (w00t)
