Pre-order charts
The Hut has good prices but it's usually very slow at mailing items.. mix that with the incredibly slow italian mail and I use it only for incredibly low price offers or games I can wait a bit longer to play (may it be because I have no time or because the game interests me but not that much). My first (and until now last) experience with Play.com has been Awakening. Pretty good price and pretty quick too. I'm quite happy and I'll probably use the site for Alpha Protocol too.

Rockstar Asks For Favorable Reviews
The western setting actually appeals me a lot, but I guess I'll either see if my brother buys it or wait for a PC version. I don't like the idea of buying a game for a console I don't own (I technically can play the game on my brother's Xbox360, but it would be in an extremely limited fashion and not at my own pace at all). Is the gameplay very similar to Grand Theft Auto though? I always found myself bored after 3 minutes with those games, for some reason.

Fallout: New Vegas
Eating/sleeping are in STALKER: Call of Pripyat and honestly it never feels annoying. It's just something you have to strategically plan for by carrying a small amount of food and returning to base occasionally. CoP also uses ammo weight, so inventory management is more involved overall. Now that I think about it, since you've added Hardcore Mode, has your team distributed food in the game differently than in Fallout 3? Because there was plenty of food (pre-war even!) in almost every location in Fallout 3, so even mods that added the food/water didn't make the gameplay much hard, if they made it harder at all.

Fallout: New Vegas
Well, I got used to it in my Ultima Online days, but I personally didn't find it annoying in FWE, not at all. It actually added to the gameplay, in some sort of way.

Obsidian's another unannounced title?
I really really hope it's not another spin-off. Alternatively if it's a new spin-off/sequel I hope it isn't Obsidian. And Chrono Trigger had a perfectly fine ending (I didn't play Chrono Cross, and maybe it was an awesome game but what I've read on the plot bordered on the nonsensical), why ruin it with a sequel?

Also, lol at Mina when you're approaching the guard at the russian embassy 'please tell me you have a plan..'. Turns out I did.

Wow. That's a surprisingly good marketing ploy.

The Reviews
No problem, I just like to clarify things . EDIT : It's also interesting to note that Obsidian wanted to add a multiplayer mode but had to cut the feature early on according to an Avellone's interview. So, if there is a sequel, these complaints may actually be addressed.

No MP option really took away from the success of both those games too Never implied it did. Because, the surprising thing is, most complainers actually both the games. Looks also like Alpha Protocol will end up in the mid-to-high eighties on Alpha Protocol going by these early reviews. Not bad imho.

Fallout: New Vegas
Shouldn't that be Science? About 30-40 Science? Maybe you could use both? Meaning using Science you know exactly what you're doing theoretically while if you use survival it's simply experience/being taught by someone else. If there's something PnP taught me is that skills don't need to be completely separate in their purpose.

Actually a lot of people complain about lack of multiplayer in Fallout too and I think I read some complaining about the lack of multiplayer in frickin' Mass Effect. So don't underestimate the general public, today no online mode means immediately less points from a lot of people.

Fallout: New Vegas
I'm wondering about what benefit will have in gameplay the ability of cooking Considering it's Josh we're talking about I doubt he'd have added a skill that he didn't feel was important to the gameplay, and considering hardcore mode etc. seems to hint at the survival feeling being more prominent in this game compared to Fallout 3.

Obsidian's another unannounced title?
I really hope so. I actually doubt it will be Final Fantasy anyway, it's not like Square Enix owns only that IP and has never published anything else.

Obsidian's another unannounced title?
Since when are nuclear holocausts awesome? Nope, in it's the post-nuclear that's awesome. Anyway, I just want to gently remind Obsids that I'd like to know what this new project thing is.

Fallout: New Vegas
Interesting, though, if that's really everything it does I doubt I'll tag it. Anything else in the new preview? not really, they mentioned that the animations are ugly and that geckos run like penguins, and are easy to kill(although, they did note that those are basic geckos) q Any new screenie then?

Indie Games Library On Obsidian
I've been currently playing the Eschalon Book II demo. The plot sounds generic, and at the first levels battles are painfully boring, but it shows promise, promise indeed. Nice graphics for an indie (they do look a lot better than Age of Decadence's), nice soundtrack and slick interface. No point and click movement seems.. like a strange choice honestly, but it's easy to accustom to the controls.

Another spanish review. It's an 8,9 with 8,5 in sound and graphics, 9,1 in gameplay, 9,4 in longevity and 8,0 in performance/optimization.

Obsidian's another unannounced title?
Or a sequel, with AERIS waking up all alone in a mortuary discovering that she's the only one of the old party alive and has a talking Chocobo with a drug addiction problem as a partner! Also, the combat system will now involve the use of cover and you will have to possibility of choosing your approach between melee, stealth and magic (the equivalent of guns in a shooter for simplicity's sake, yeaaaah!). No dialogue skills and actually no choices at all and an outdated graphic engine on top of that. .................. I'm just bored.
