  1. Still doesn't really fit considering that the Grey Wardens aren't really destroy and you don't have to resurrect them. The stories have some common ground, true, but that's just because they both rely on fantasy clich
  2. Gamespot Dev Diary #1 : The Story I am looking for a guy in a checkered suit. Have you seen him?
  3. I don't think this is really an accurate summary of DA's story, to be honest.
  4. It will be interesting indeed. The premise is not bad, but it's not awesome either and we still haven't seen anything about dialogues since the gamescom/E3 demos were proof of concept quests.
  5. I wasn't aware of that, it's certainly a nice touch. And in fact, I didn't want to imply that Bioware was completely ignoring it, just say that if they did it would piss me off, since as unfinished as it was, there was a lot of material worth preserving.
  6. [troll]It's probably going to be a sub-par open world RPG anyway, why bother?[/troll] Serious reply : it sucks, but I honestly expected it.
  7. Further suggesting that the real problem is that the patch is US only...
  8. Every presentation has been obviously done offline and had drop-in, drop-out co-op. I would be very surprised if the game shipped without offline co-op. As for mana based or cooldowns, anything is ok as long as you don't have those 'go back to town to buy 120 more potions for the next level of the dungeon' moments.
  9. Weren't you the one who told me that it was pretty obvious that Kreia didn't lie to you? I don't remember the context to be honest, but I am just saying it would not be outlandish to justify it that way. Granted, it would bother me more than a little bit if Bioware completely ignored KOTOR2...
  10. I don't think it's that big of a stretch. Both Vault-Tec and Poseidon were heavily involved in gov't. affairs pre-war, and Poseidon bigwigs were the progenitors of the Enclave. It's not obvious in Fallout 1, but Fallout 2 introduced a heavy corporatist element into the nightmarish pre-war political scenario. What Fallout 3 introduced was the idea of Vault-Tec as being intimately involved in FEV research, which is a leap, but not as big of a leap as one might assume, given the depth of military-industrial incest that was apparent when the bombs fell. It's just a matter of establishing that Vault-Tec and Poseidon and the Military were all connected. Military experiments weren't a stretch by any means, and I wasn't implying so, just noting that the concept wasn't present in the first two games.
  11. What we know for sure is that Revan's fall to the dark side was if not caused, certainly helped by the True Sith. What we don't know is if his war against the Republic, where he meticulously conserved the Republic infrastructures, was meant to help or hinder them. What we know is that Kreia pretty much drooled every time she mentioned Revan's name, so it's not like she was particularly objective about him. She's also a consummate liar who could have lied about Revan simply to justify herself What we know is that the True Sith were delayed for 200 years after Revan went into space to search for them, so it's not a stretch to imagine that he had some kind of plan to stop them or, at least, delay them. As much as I'm not particularly thrilled about what I saw of TOR, it's too early to just cry retcons and Bioware killing KOTOR2's depth.
  12. The concept of the social experiments was introduced in Fallout 2, but there certainly were experiments in the first two game too. Just think of Vault 12, it was precisely designed to have radiation leaking through its not-at-all-closed vault door. Or Vault 15, which was designed to study the interaction between people of differing ideologies, races and religion. If anything, I'd argue that Fallout 3 introduced the concept of Vaults as military experiments.
  13. Not at all.
  14. I am wondering what Vault 17's experiment was and where it was located.
  15. As the article says it's still 1 humanoid companion and 1 non-humanoid companion.
  16. Just be warned : that did not work for me.
  17. Will she too have severe heart problems? That's the question.
  18. Cool kids = overweight 13 years old that shout on TeamSpeak?
  19. ... ;_; ... *sniff* .. ;_; Nooo.. *sob* T_T S'Okay Oner. I'm here. S'Okay.
  20. US Version, EU version or?
  21. Rumors confirmed : a Devil May Cry reboot by Ninja Theory. Aside from the monsters design and the fact that the protagonist uses two gun I don't really understand the connection to the franchise. EDIT : And trailer!. Apparently the guy there is Dante. And I am Napoleon, OF COURSE!
  22. That's actually a pretty good question but I don't think they'd answer that in a Bethblog podcast, sorry.
  23. Sorry Tigranes, but there's nothing to be constructive about here. It's not just here, plenty of sources report that the patch simply flat-out doesn't work. I have yet to hear someone that tells me that this patch worked for him/her. If someone that meets that criterion is browsing this board, it would be nice to simply jump in and tell us 'hey it worked, I have AP's version X, and my specs are blah blah'. But I have my doubts someone will appear and tell us that. I wouldn't be surprised if SEGA had actually just downloaded this 'patch' from a Crack website. Seriously. It's a screw up and it will likely damage Obsidian and SEGA reputation even more. And you know why? Because in the modern game industry screw-ups like this aren't tolerated. And rightly so. It's just so damn amateurish. Seriously SEGA? SERIOUSLY? EDIT : And the guy appeared. Specs? Have you ever played AP before installing the patch? And yeah, you're damn lucky.
  24. No they aren't. Any decent question?
