I thought this was pretty funny.. "How To Uninstall McAfee Antivirus" I guess it's funnier if you've ever used McAfee Anti-virus.

Started a new game of Arcanum. I've never made it out of the first village you get to before (the game bores me to death), but I thought I'd try it with a high resolution patch and see if that helps. It's still an exceptionally ugly game though, even in 1920x1080.

Oh.. it's no problem.. it's OK.. ..WHEN YOU POSSESS SUCH LEET PHOTOSHOP SKILLZ AS I!! The rest of you perverts can thank me later.

Went to a party yesterday (with actual photo models, no joke!), and naturally I wanted to get the girls drunk. So I bought this expensive vodka with pear taste, Sprite and some Swedish icecream that's perfect to make summer drinks from. I started to mix the stupid icecreams but they didn't melt fast enough, so I thought I'd hasten the process by letting hot water run on the outside of the decanter. FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU I didn't score any models either.

Ps. More pics of your wife might make up for the fashion snafu. Preferably in a bikini.

Man.. you know I love your RV adventures and your pictures and your family (especially your wife) as much as the next guy, but this is just too much.. I mean, look at this! WHAT THE **** IS THIS?! ANKLE SOCKS! EVER HEARD OF ANKLE SOCKS?! I'm going to have to go lie down now.
-
I'd play a ****ing phone book if it was open world.
-
When you're driving the RV full of family.. where do they all sit? Do you allow them to be in the actual house part of the RV or does everyone have to be seated in the front with their seatbelts on?

Ok, that is such blatant bull****. What are you on about, exodiark? I own an Xbox 360 and I've never bought Live Gold. Now.. explain to me what I can do with my Silver account? All I know is that I can buy **** and watch ads. I can't play my games online, I can't use the internet services (Twitter and.. uh.. does the Xbox have anything else?), I can't do anything. I have never turned on my Xbox just to fool around outside a game. Xbox Live service.. it's actually offensive that they call it that. There is no service at all, unless you pay through your teeth. My cousin owns a PS3 and the online experience is so different they could be from different worlds. The desert world of Microsoftia and the paradise world of Sonyylderan.

After reading this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-06-11-state-of-decay-review ..I plugged in my old Xbox 360 again and downloaded the demo. It was excellent. Quite generous for a demo too. It never felt like a demo until I advanced the story far enough for it to put a 30-minutes-playing-time-left limit on me. By then I had already played for probably 3-4 hours. I will wait for the PC version though. I'm just too crappy with a controller and I've gotten used to playing in 1920x1080 at 60 fps.

http://www.dailytech.com/Microsoft+Xbox+One+More+Expensive+More+DRM+and+Slower+Than+PS4/article31738.htm A little bit.. bad reading, for Microsoft's horse in the race.

Oohh, it's like the Pentium 4 release all over again..

No disagreement there, but if you're going to hype up a product based on being state of the art, that choice of RAM looks slightly out of place.
-
Check out State of Decay too. I tried the demo of this yesterday and it seems really cool.

Hey! When did this thread become an attack on my personal choice of attire??

..using DDR3 RAM, clocked at 1866MHz. They are selling DDR3 clocked at 2400MHz now. My three year old computer uses 1600MHz. Just sayin'.

The funny thing is that it looks exactly like a modern Gothic 3. I like!

When things turned sour, I was no longer involved in the club, as I had left town to study at a university. Just remember, this was done in a small village where a group of boys got together and actually accomplished something. The whole thing grew from a field for playing football to an organized club for training and finally a government funded indoor hall. I am all for equal rights (everyone should have equal worth and right in society as a whole, and we are very good at this in Sweden), but this really is a case of getting something for nothing. It's very easy to come in after someone has done all the work and demand to get stuff for free. Is that equality though? Anyhow, the entire point of this example of Swedish insanity was: instead of demanding boobs to be removed and every game having equal parts male and female fantasies, do something yourself. Don't just demand things from others, contribute yourselves. Make the games you enjoy instead of demanding they change the games others may enjoy.

The point he is making is that they got to "share" through no effort of their own. So if some guy who was not part of that original founding group wants to play, does he have to build everything from the ground up? They did go through some effort, they used the legal system to get their practice and playing time I think you lack knowledge of how a sports club functions. If they had joined our club, we would have shared the times as we did with all the members. They formed a women's club and demanded to get half of the practice times on the field we built. Granted, in Sweden you get aid from the government for projects like this (so technically both men and women paid for it), but the work was done by us. I actually thought about something that was even worse than what I wrote was the worst in the first post: after the women got half of our practice times, they started complaining that they didn't get as good practice times as the guys.. "the girls have to practice early in the morning while the guys get all the good practice slots in the evenings, it's not fair, we want the same times as the guys". I'm not even joking.

To find a post like this from the only poster on this forum to have been absolutely infatuated with a game character, to the point of it becoming slightly creepy for the rest of us, is a bit funny. There are obviously female fantasies in games already, the difference is that different things get our respective juices flowing. We like boobs, you like.. berets. And I love how women are always going "they need to make [insert current object of political correctness here] because they did blah blah". No. No, they don't have to make anything. When 50% of developers are female, you can do whatever fantasies you want. Until then, male fantasies will be dominant, of the simple rteason that men are dominant in the industry. It always amazes me, the amount of entitlement females feel in every aspect of life. It's like in Sweden, one of the most gender equal societies in the world, where women for some reason believe they automatically have the right to 50% of everything. An example: we (a bunch of bored guys) started a football club a lot of years ago, out of interest for the sport. We built a football field, we arranged for people to come to practice, we built an organization, we even managed to build an indoor hall for the winter season after many years. We never excluded women, but noone was intertested in joining us. A decade ago, women suddenly realized they can play football too. What do they do? Do they make the same journey as us, building everything from the ground up? No. They demand to have 50% of the practice time slots on the field we built. They want 50% of the economy we've accrued. They want 50% of everything we worked for for 30+ years. Because they're women. The best part? They got it because of Swedish equality laws.

Developers, Kickstarter & My Future 5 Year Gaming Budget

Wait, what? My Radeon 5870 still performs ridiculously well, which is why I feel no need at all to upgrade to a 7970 or 8970 (whenever that's out). It is also surprisingly silent (bought one of those overclocked models with three turbo fans, forgot the name). How can an old Nvidia 8800 GTS perform better than a Radeon 5870?
