Yup, my fault. My norwegian newseditor misunderstood the pressrelease when he wrote the newsbit for our site. I will spank him for an hour or so.

But Oblivion for the Xbox 360 has been delayed until next year.. The PC-version is still coming out on December 2 here in Europe though. EDIT: Gaah, norwegians shouldn't be allowed to read english pressreleases.. The PC-version is delayed too. Sigh.

I love rumours! The former rumour I posted turned out to be untrue. Weird, huh? Probably bogus too.

But it sounds like they've done a lot of progress. And for the first time I'm actually interested in the building tools. From reading that preview they sound great. I never bothered with the Neverwinter Nights tools because the game stunk so much, the engine was crappy and all you could do was square, tiny maps with rectangular generic houses placed here and there. Sounds like a good game to me, and I don't mind if the graphics are a bit outdated or that the FPS action is a little less impressive. I've always thought of this game as an adventure anyhow. I must say (to the topic starter) you really chose the weirdest place to post this..

I really wouldn't call Planescape: Torment junk, but it's by far the most overrated game I've ever played. I'm not too fond of linear RPG's myself and the fact that you absolutely have to care about the one and only character the entire game, story and bi-characters revolve around is a definite weakness. I didn't like playing the Nameless One, thus the game became nothing special to me. But, obviously, if you had no problems with the pre-gen, than it's one of the best written games ever made.

Gothic, Gothic 2, Gothic 2 Gold (coming out in November and includes an expansion that's more of a totally new game) and soon Gothic 3 might be what you're looking for.

Not only is the release day line-up lacking in oomph power, but apparently all of the first generation of software on the Xbox 360 aren't multi threaded, if this rumour turns out to be true. My first computer was a ZX Spectrum 16k, which was later upgraded to a ZX Spectrum 48k. They looked and felt like overgrown calculators. Rubber keys for teh win!!

And of course Toronto has to face Ottawa.. again. What is it now? Tenth time this season? I don't mind that certain teams will face each other eight times per season, I just wish Toronto had gotten an easier team than Ottawa. I mean, the lucky bastards meeting Washington eight times are going to have 16 easy points just from that mini-series. And still no word on Sundin. Stupid eye.

Well, there's supposed to be a 5 hour storyline where you get to play as Ada, the girl in the red dress. I am sure you remember her.. and her cleavage.. and long legs.. Also, new weapons, new costumes for the main characters and some other stuff. Nothing worth paying an extra $50 for. Unless you're made of money.

Uhm.. They're facing Dallas.. and they're the away team.. That's kind of tough. Anyhow, I just noticed that Ovechkin scored twice in the first period against Tampa. Nice.

I kind of like the shootout too, as long as it's only about a bonus point. I hate when it decides an entire game like it does in football.

My PS2 is getting a lot of love now that Resident Evil 4 has come out on it. What a game! Although I wish they would port it to PC too, only with better controls.. (I hate having to rotate my way around the world.)

I really hope that Playstation 3 gets a better release day line-up than this..
