Ok, Kaftan, you have explicitly expressed your dislike about everything regarding Gothic over and over again. Oh wow. I just remembered that I really liked Dog from Half-Life 2 too. No dialogue, but sometimes actions speaks louder than words!

When I visited some friend in the states I made sure I went to all the fast food places I could find. Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC, some other mexican food place I forgot the name of, even Burger King and McDonald's (which, surprisingly enough, didn't taste at all like in Sweden). It was fun, although somewhat.. greasy. Especially KFC.

WE GOT A WIN!! TAKE THAT, FLORIDA PANTHERS!! Belfour was back to his cup winning form (and outdueled Luongo!), the defense took a lot of unnecessary penalties (as usual) but this time they didn't all result in a goal, and the captain himself had three helpers and has actually played two good games in a row! Now, if only Sundin could find the net again, Belfour could become consistantly good and the defense could stop taking all those stupid penalties, I am sure this sinking ship could be salvaged! OH, THE SWEET TASTE OF VICTORY! AND IT WAS ON THE ROAD TOO!! Ps. Sorry about the dreaded triple post..

If I can get lost in a gameworld, that's a big plus for that game! I love massive maps, although they still have to be interesting, varied and worth their while. Morrowind failed those three criterias. Gothic & Gothic 2 and GTA: San Andreas are some examples of games with fantastic gameworlds.

I wouldn't mind playing an action game from Obsidian. It's just that for every good RPG that comes out, there are 99 cloned action titles drowning it. I would rather see Obsidian (whom I trust to make interesting and somewhat 'deep' RPG's) spend their time and resources on the genre I love the most, which coincidentally is the genre that gets the least love from the market.

This is a little disturbing. I may read too much into it, but it sounds like Obsidian wants to branch out into other genres than just RPG. I know Josh, for example, is an avid fan of games like God of War and Ninja Gaiden Black.. Own technology + Console only + freedom to the type of game they can create = ? Are we going to see action games coming from Obsidian in the future?

I, too, used Shadow. Did everyone? Although using him made the game so easy it almost felt like cheating. I am guessing he was the best NPC in Jagged Alliance 2..?

I remember some swedish construction company having legal problems because they had troubles getting a turban to fit under a hardhat.. I know they solved it in the end somehow, but I don't remember how. Swedish laws about hardhats on construction sites > Religious reasons to wear a turban. Yeah, even a Leafs fan has to feel sorry for all the Blues fans out there. Did anyone hear about a goal by Robert Nilsson in the AHL a few days ago? On topic: I really hope the danish government won't break from the economic pressure the boycott will bring. I recently read that 16 billion danish crowns is at stake and a lot of Denmark's biggest companies wants the danish government to apologize. I understand the hatred towards a nation that bombed your country to bits and invaded you, but I can not understand the hatred against a nation with a crappy sense of humour. Edit: Crappy spelling.

Ada Wong (Resident Evil 4): Lethal girl in a red dress.. yummy. 4. Max (Wasteland): Any NPC that you get to assemble yourself gets on my list. 5. Mud (Gothic): One of those annoying NPC's.. but this one you get to kill! I can't think of any more memorable NPC's right now.
