  1. Seem to recall reading elsewhere that PST and IWDII would be bigger undertakings than BG 1/2 and IWD and so would require more work to convert. Which I guess would be why Seige was more appealing as an option in terms of resource investment and return? Dragonspear, albeit in a smaller format, was part of their bgee plan from a very early stage. They teased it way before bgee was released. Probably just wanted to get it finally done. That said, they might just as well be planning new dlc for bgee/bg2ee, which would justify the extra design/writing personnel. Minsc still has no personal quest in bg2ee...
  2. I assume they'll do PSTEE or something similar next to keep the boat floating (cue inane whining about cash-grabs... I haven't been able to get the original to boot in a decade) cycling team members based on the phase between that and whatever is entirely new. Frankly, I can't see what else it could be apart from BG3.
  3. Let me asterisk that for you: *If windows pc is the only relevant platform to you and you enjoy installing mods just to get a game work (which two groups probably have 100 % overlap)
  4. Mostly Deus Ex, to the point where I was quite annoyed when they pushed the date back. Not that I don't have a backlog after the last couple of years, but I'm slowly catching up, so I'd like to see something more this year. Hoping that they a) release the new Mass Effect and b) it's actually good. Cyberpunk and Dishonored 2 are on a vague day 1 list in my head somewhere, but I have no idea when they are coming out (either). Late edit: Siege of Dragonspear, too. I'd forgotten about it.
  5. I'm now most looking forward to the east-west shrine game and the senior bowl... >
  6. Interesting story, do you think a single coyote would kill one of your dogs in a fight? I guess I'm asking how dangerous are Coyotes? A coyote by himself is not dangerous at all. Even two or three together would not be a serious problem for Sunny & Tommy. It's when you get six, seven or more they are a real threat. But not to me. To get rid of them I walked out on the porch turned on the light and cursed them out... loudly. They scattered. But one coyote would easily eat both rabbits before I could do anything about it. They are more of a nuisance than a threat so I'm usually inclined to leave them be. but a few years ago they got really aggressive so one night I left my grill in the middle of the yard as bait and waited by the loft window. When they came around I shot the biggest one figuring he was the alpha. They stayed away after that. They live in Anderson Tully a management area real close to my house. I think there are two packs that come around periodically but I haven't seen them in a while. I hear them all the time though but they sound far away. There is indeed something about Management that tends to draw Coyotes...(...) Meanwhile, I've apparently reached the ripe old age where I start stumbling on the streets and faceplanting for no good reason. Apparently I can still break a fall, so only have a slightly swollen knee and some grazes due to landing on several body parts simultaneously. Know lets see how that knee bends tomorrow...
  7. Maybe Breesus is juicin' like 5Head Manning? Considering the major injuries they've bith had, I'd be surprised if he hadn't at the time. Breesus's ~half-dozen kids make continued use seem unlikely.
  8. What Yes ...its been proven. One year I was denied any presents despite the fact all 5 of my siblings got, I was 6....it was very depressing and made me feel really really insecure, its psychologically hurtful. Obviously I recovered but what about other kids ? obvious to whom?
  9. I hope for that, too. Meanwhile I'm enjoying the afterglow of the defeat of the pouty manchild Newton and Breesus's 13th 400 yard game. Too bad they were two different games.
  10. If I ever had two thousand bucks to spend on a set of kitchen knives this would likely be my pick oh, we don't use them as kitchen knives. we got one o' those walnut surfaced magnetic knife racks so we can stare at the MACs while we use our cheap wusthof blades. ... am only kinda joking. HA! Good Fun! ps edited out picture Well, who doesn't like a nice rack? Long-time followers know I do. Also, enjoying the futility of my employer wanting me to spend today at the office, while I have absolutely nothing to do. Well, if they want to pay me for spending time Walterfootball and the Obsidz board, they may do so.
  11. This place really went into the crapper when y'all made raithe stop posting cheesecake. Also, have minimal time off over the holidays, but even that little is very needed. Have basically been surfing wikipedia (czechoslovakia in the second world war) with a few bursts of activity.
  12. Yes, that's a small comfort, at least.
  13. Oh come on, they'll need another year or two at least to build the new stadium in LA. Also, Volourn is correct: since both the Redskins and the Eagles won theirs game this week, and because the Eagles and the Redskins face each other in week 16, one of them literally *has* to go at least 7-9. With the Eagles' final game being the Giants, and the Redskins' other two being the Bills and Cowboys, it's quite possible one even goes 8-8. (e): Oh, also, while I'd love for the Eagles to beat the Cardinals to increase the chances of the Packers getting the #2 seed...I'm not exactly counting on it, even though the Eagles have looked marginally better these last two weeks. Gotta remember they were blown out by both the Lions and Bucs in the two weeks previous. Those turds will eke out a tie. And talking about turds, week three of no rob ryan and the saints procure a defense.
  14. Been there, done that. The Seahawks used to play in the NFC Worst and they made the playoffs with a 7-9 record in 2010. (Then we beat the 11-5 Saints in the playoffs. ) Thanks for reminding me.
  15. Perhaps you should have a probe up you lower intestine, as well. That'll sort the prognosticators in there.
  16. Brandon expletive Browner. Zebras missing 12 guys in the huddle not once, not twice, but THREE times. Cam Newton is a colossal turd. Head 'splodes.
  17. Either this is a new approach or it's been working really well.
  18. I don't think I have any comments that could get past the worksafe filter.
  19. Of the Saints top 5 CBs 2 are on ir (lewis, williams), one has spent about two months in the concussion protocol (Swann), one is not even trying (Browner) and one is actually quite decent, but still prone to mental **** ups as he came from CFL without having taken a single college snap (Breaux). And the dbs are in a better situation than the lbs!
  20. Happy 2nd anniversary, Ros! Meanwhile, went for drinks and brgrs with some old school buddies that I've known from 29 to 22 years. There's a particular brand of fun you can have with people like that. Also, still work tomorrow and the office xmas party. So tired I wish I could skip it...
  21. Don't worry, I don't think anyone suspects you're a turkey.Yeah, the Christmas ham time's got me real worried, though. Obviously, no thanxgiving here, so got a full week.
  22. I'm not confused, I just have an authority problem. Also, bracelet ordered and got some Dragon Age: Inquisition time over the weekend. Now to survive the work week...
  23. I'll answer that if you answer me this: why do you care? Probably because this thread has people playing the game and discussing both the good and the bad, and then this thread has people who are not playing the game but seem obsessed with nitpicking all the bad stuff. It's a weird mix and a bit hard to navigate. Yes, those people are supposed to stick to the Bioware game threads on this forum, some people have missed the memo! Edit: teaches me to read the whole thread before replying. Maybe.
  24. I got extended another three months. Going to have to start looking for something hopefully a bit more stable afterwards, but we'll see. Got some things brewing already.
