  1. Congrats GD, sounds great! :D
  2. Considering the game has the worst ending since (arguably) me3, I haven't been able to go back and finish my unfinished stuff. I didn't even realize I was doing the final mission until the very end, something that curiously also happened with me3.
  3. Re: trash mobs in dao. I don't think the cure is stretching those needless filler combats out further by forcing myself to use advanced tactics and synergistic abilities. Well, beyond Storm of the Century.
  4. I have been researching this issue, it seems that David Brat ran his campaign primarily on an anti-immigration perspective? With the changing demographics in the USA and the increasing numbers of Latino voters I find this type of strategy anachronistic, surely this can't be a sustainable policy for Republicans going forward or am I missing something? I think most republicans believe sustainability to be something for liberal hippies...
  5. I have very high expectations on "overall design" based on the da2 dlc.
  6. Well, i don't think there's one that "requires", since I did all of them and don't remember that. I wonder if it's the one I approached with a hacked L-train. :D No, I remember it now, the stscking lift. Yes, that was awesome but a bit obvious. The l-train one had me really scratching my head!
  7. Same here, that fireball grease combo. Storm of the Century master race here.Yeah, it's really the only way to suffer through the endless filler combat.

  9. A few climbs require you to use a flatbed truck or similar as a boost...
  10. The one I remember was a fairly straightforward one about dropping cross-game c&c when they felt it necessary, including who's dead or alive. I'll try to find it, since I hope it's nit a figment of my imagination.
  11. As whenever I play party-based cRPGs my first toon is almost always a mage, the lack of the zoom out camera was among the very first things I noticed. It's been the 2h swordsman for me since bg2, at least as initial playtrhough. Not sure what it tells about me. Probably overcompensation. OTOH, used to make mechanical sense to have the PC as a fighter type, since as the most powerful character, you can better try to fill a dual role of damage sink and dealer.
  12. I wish I could find the quote for that, but it's definite I've heard someone say it - maybe I'll take a look for it later. Not sure if it was re 3 or for 2. Personally doesn't matter, as I'm switching platforms again, but it's something to consider at least as a possibility.
  13. I think you can already see small chunks of it in one of the demos, probably IGN's in fact. Very little, but it looks like it's running on a xbone. For it the be available on the XBone and not on the PC which lends itself far better to "strategic view" battle management would seem real backasswards to me. EHhh, if it's on the xbone, it's going to be on the PC, but obviously the more limited input options of the xbone are going to limit the way it looks in the demo. btw. I never understood why people complained about the camera in DA2, but then I realized I had only played the game with a 2h warrior. The limitations were a lot more obvious with a mage.
  14. I wonder how they'll deal with this potential problem if you chose to do the fighting option at the end of TW2. They'll ignore it, they've said in the past that they'll limit the impact of decisions in previous games if they see it fit (ie. overrule them). Already have the medallion from the witcher 2 dark edition, so no reason to buy CE for this one
  15. So essentially the new Mass Effect is just concept art at this stage? In the new Mass Effect - You play as Casey Hudson with your trustworthy wise-cracking side-kick Mac Walters. :D Hope there's a toggle to keep helmets on during dialogue! Wonder where we are going to see Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale next. Both have incredible range, and Meer especially is often unrecognizable as himself.

  17. Yeah, let's look back to Dragon Age Origins and the Circle tower... not stretched out at all!
  18. I have no idea what I'm going to be playing between now and October, but from then on, with DAI, Pillars of Eternity and then Twitcher 3, I seem to be pretty well set into the Spring. Mebbe Wolfenstein, at some point, but it doesn't strike me as a game I'd like to pay full bucks for.
  19. Hang on! Are we the kind of people that vie for games on the basis of whether they are in fashion or not? I have the definitive feeling that the answer is "no". "Hey! This game is in now." "Yay! It's so rad!" No, you're the "it's so last season!" people.
  20. I must be missing something but what is the issue again if DA:I reminds people of Skyrim? It's one more piece of evidence for their quest to prove that Bioware is CREATIVELY BANKRUPT!!!111one
  21. Good for you. Seriously, though, the length of a single playthrough is the least important metric ever, as **** can be artificially stretched out (me1 planets) and is of minir importance in the total-time-for-buck, which mostly consists of replayability, anyway...
  22. Because a) these announced lengths are always bs and b) personally consider the length of a game to be just above the box art in importance
  23. Well, given how disproportionately loudly the audiences cheer over shabby trailers and alpha gameplay, it seems to be something contagious over at E3. *cough*publisher employees*cough*
  24. Just for Monte, Bioware just confirmed More Romances than Ever Before!
  25. I hear there's a gameplay demo coming in 3,5h.
