  1. Or, you could just use the spoiler tags!
  2. The promotional (using the char. editor etc.) can indeed. They also aren't included . But there are quite a few who don't have a dl-link. Well, I think I have most of them and it's already skewing the balance of the game as is. Pretty sure that a lot of clever guys have created, ahem, similar items with the editor anyway, if you are absolutely set on getting those. Again, I think this is a non-issue, and I'm the guy who bought 3 versions of Mass Effect 2 to get all the stuff (+ bought a bunch of dr pepper codes from the U.S....)
  3. On the PC most, if not all, of them don't require online authorisation and can be downloaded from the DA wiki, too. For ME2, I think all the preorder bonuses apart from the Gamestop exclusive Terminus Armor + Blackstorm were released in later packs. They can't be separately bought for PC/xbox, but they are available on the PS3. A crying shame, since it's the best heavy weapon in the game (at least the most entertaining one).
  4. I was wondering more about the split between the platforms, with the 1 vs 3 discs and the North-America exclusive PS3 case.
  5. I'm not sure what wasn't given out with the DAO Ultimate Ed, but there's strict limits on the stuff you can give out for nought on the consoles. The only reason CDProjekt can do what they are doing now is because they are (for the moment) PC exclusive. Expect the situation to change when the Xpox version gets released. And for whoever about to suggest "well, why don't they give it for free to just the PC elite", I'll roll my eyes pre-emptively at you now.
  6. Is it the guy who never left things half-****ed?
  7. It's great to work for ****, isn't it? Did you guys know that **** Pound is the chancellor of McGill university? Oh, right, because of this retarded filter, you'll have to jump into the ****pit of a plane and go there to see it for yourself.
  8. Well, the fact that I'm for some reason having massive trouble staying hydrated (I've lived most of my childhood in Greece, the weather here is a spring evening in comparison to that) and that Blackcurrant Gatorade (they were all out of everything else) tastes like ass seems like kind of a small problem now.
  9. "I know nothing about the gameplay apart from a couple tiny segments, but because I arbitrarily classify it as X, it must be Y and Z". The success of cod with its "linear tube levels" hasn't made it an ARPG while I was looking the other way, was it? :D Sorry pal, I was talking about proper first person shooters, not explosive on-rails Hollywood blockbuster "experiences". Oh, another genre I'd never heard of right there, then! I wasn't talking about quality (I haven't even played the main game, let alone the Sebastian DLC), but about getting less content at the same time because you didn't pre-order before an arbitrary time limit. As injustices go, I consider your case to be the smallest I have ever encountered. EA has pushed these limited preorder editions for some games of late, NFS Hot Pursuit, at least, and I think Battlefield 3 is also going to have one, as alternatives to a limited in quantity CE. Frankly, if the alternative is a numerically limited CE or upgrading all orders before a certain date to a special edition to make sure that quantities are available (and, as you point out, force people into preordering before they can hear the Truth from Gamespot and IGN ), I'd rather go with the latter.
  10. "I know nothing about the gameplay apart from a couple tiny segments, but because I arbitrarily classify it as X, it must be Y and Z". The success of cod with its "linear tube levels" hasn't made it an ARPG while I was looking the other way, was it? :D What "last few BioWare games"? Because Dragon Age II sure as hell didn't do that. You either pre-ordered it before you could get a good idea of how it played or were screwed and didn't get the Signature Edition with the additional character and quest. For both DAO and DA2 Bio had 2 day 1 DLCs, one as a part of project 10 $ and the other to sweeten a special edition of the game (Preorder only signature edition for DA2, all digital CE versions for DAO). I can't remember how ME2 was, I think it was just the minimal CE bonus and Cerberus Network (and Zaeed, specifically) for the Project. This one looks like it's a rerun of ME2, even though the CE bonuses are a little bit less mild this time around. I think getting "screwed" out of Sebastian paints an overly rosy picture of that thing's quality. Hell, you could probably get both for less than the sig ed price just a couple of weeks after the release, anyway.
  11. I just decided to go out and buy it today before I came here. I've also had Arkham Asylum for months, but still haven't felt like playing it. I'll keep waiting for that mood.
  12. You could've grabbed mine while you were at it, it's kind of off-the-cuff now
  13. What I tend to find is that most of the time, complaints are a sign of a problem, but not specific to what the problem is. If someone dislikes a game, they generally won't understand why, so they'll reach for the obvious and public culprits. It's not what I think this type of game should be. It's dumbed down. Etc. The plot sucks. When the impacting factors are sometimes more subtle and less recognized. That is to say, when someone likes a game, they forgive the faults. When they dislike a game, they'll complain about any element of it, regardless of whether or not that's why they actually dislike it. This is the role critics are supposed to fill, by my understanding. People who actually know enough to point out these elements and understand how they contribute to the overall enjoyment of a particular game. This, so much this. Sometimes it's not even the game that people dislike, I heard a story from a guy working at Tesco... He said that when people find out that there's been a mistake somewhere, they almost take a kind of a glow to them... Some people live to see successful people and companies fail. It's a sad situation when it happens withing the CRPG community, there aren't enough studios as it is.
  14. Honestly, I don't think you'll need an uber rig for this. I'd bet your current one would play it fine. Maybe so, but it's not just a question of performance, I have just my surfing/typewriting rig at the moment (and it's a mac, so I have to boot into windows and lose impressive stretches of uptime;) so using a console version is much less of a hassle. I'm planning on getting a dedicated gaming rig this autumn, where I dont have to consider good useability and low power drain to the same degree.
  15. I, abuse, commas, like, there's, no, tomorrow. That I do in legal writing. I do an extra (sometimes only <- see) proof-reading pass just to remove all the extra commas...
  16. Nobody would hire you. Because you're a douche. Hey if you got hired, why wouldn't he? I wonder how many people you managed to ninja. :D
  17. Thanks for confirming that, Hell Kitty. Getting this both for PC and PS3, in the hopes of getting a new rig during this year.
  18. That actually comes as a surprise to quite a few people. But writing is hard.
  19. My only issue with this game is that I have absolutely no idea what is included in which version. As I understand, there is some difference between the U.S. and Euro Augmented editions, as in the latter should include all the in-game content the Collector's edition has. I just get a deep feeling of confusion when I try to look at this, and I'm also a bit surprised I'm not seeing anything apart from the regular edition available for order in Finland. (Which is why I have it preordered from Amazon, hooray for getting it a week late). Edit: Reply to myself, apparently the European Augmented edition has everything that the CE has, apart from the action figure. Still kind of stumped why even the augmented seems to be so limited in availability.
  20. Good one, I know I overuse parentheses when writing on forums, but I never do it "in real life". Strange.
  21. You guys are starting to creep me out. Who am I kidding, you've been doing that for ages.
  22. Ozzy hasn't produced anything worthwhile in a while unfortunately So Duke will relate to Serius Sam the way Ozzy relates to Br
