  1. Ok, that's no good. Never had to use it, myself. Will have to examine it carefully, including past purchases, before I make up my mind on it.
  2. I think the main difference was that EADM was really bare-bones, while Origin features a more steam-like interface and "cool stuff" like videos. There's also the fact that EADM wasn't that good, but AFAIK you COULD redownload pretty much all EA games through it, if you had the CD key (so you weren't tied to the original media, which I always thought was pretty cool of them).
  3. Extremely disturbing. This is why Swedes are known worldwide for their sense of humour. Oh, right.
  4. Maria's gone too. Maybe they felt that this place was beyond saving?
  5. Is she hot? Semi-related, I have a friend's hot kid sister coming on pretty strong (I might have mentioned this before, but she's just coming on stronger than ever before). She's REALLY good-looking, but not really my type (short - and I don't like that, and it seems wrong because I know so many other guys do), smart, but borderline communist with an exceptionally strong streak of do-gooding. So basically, she's definitely in the pump and dump category, and an exceptional specimen at that, but I just can't bring myself to do it because she's a friend's sister. ****!
  6. Considering that there isn't exactly a consensus among economists that governments can do that much economic recovery these days, you might be asking him for a bit too much. Also what Rosbjerg said.
  7. I've found it to be quite good for that. If I wasn't doing my doctorate, I seriously doubt I would have played through it so many times already. :D
  8. Bio accounts are a part of the larger EA system, so it won't be just Bio, if it happens.
  9. The difference between the final total and the amount charged in about 96 $. So, obviously they were very happy with the service, rounding it off with an extr 96 after the $ 3000 tip.
  10. Oh, I'm aware of all these things, we've had dogs before. Which is the reason why I'm fighting the urge, I have no idea where I'm going to wind up working and whether the weekly hours are going to be closer to 40 or 80. Still, could use a small furry friend right now.
  11. Maybe they get off on showing MP5s in the faces of scrawny punks. I mean, who doesn't?
  12. Looks like about $ 96 on the receipt right there.
  13. Since Gembe was raided by GSG9 after breaking in to Valve's secure network and leaking the Half-Life 2 beta, it's safe to assume that the publisher was not behind that leak.
  14. I have a near-uncontrollable urge to get a puppy. In fact, it's no longer at the "a puppy" stage, it's progressed now into the point where I actually know one I want to buy.
  15. Nope, since it was released here last week... Of course, spending time watching other people play games makes you odd, but that's not illegal for the moment.
  16. The real punchline would be if that were a duplicated PSN visa.
  17. Misleading information? On the obsid boards? UNIMAGINABLE!
  18. It's pirates that aren't liked, not spoilers. Maybe you should petition the administration for a "pirate" tag for your discussions?

I'm sure all HIFK supporters remember Tim Thomas fondly, even if he went to work for the Other Team later on.
  20. Assassin's Creeds. Guess I finally found a reason to try one of them. Too bad the negatives are still stacked against this one positive.
  21. Sounds like Daikatana all over again. Eurogamer, the same company that gushed over gears of war, and gave fable 2 10/10... Yeah they're about as credible as Joystiq with there current "EVERYTHING SUCKS" spree. F***ing parasites. I sort of agree with you, their Sony headlines have been tabloid quality and their Mass Effect 3 preview looked like it had been authored by someone with a negative agenda (So, Monte, you contributing to Eurogamer in your spare time?). I've still found that in the long run, their reviews are the closest thing to something I can use as a decent guideline.
  22. I think that's the first thing you've written ever that I agree with.
  23. Currently emptying my office. Having the first regrets now, mostly due to the fact these ****ers turn the AC off during weekends. Spelling it out makes it a non-regret though.
