I know I went back, but that was after finishing up that plot. I can't think of anything blocking you. A pain in the butt to travel all the way back though Yeah, that's why I asked instead of trying it out.

The point is more like you die harder. MJ12 commandos on easy have to shoot several bursts into your head even without the ballistic armor augmentation. Enemies being tougher doesn't mean much when you play a stealthier strike-from-the-shadows/boom-head-shot game.

Don't sustained spells just lower your maximum mana/stamina?
