  1. So Monte isn't a person, but a whole people?

The fixed reduction comes before the percentage reduction IIRC.
  3. Hey, they were nice peop-...things. Don't insult them!
  4. Isn't that Win By Default? Besidef only John-Rys Davis (did I spell that right?) and whatzizname... the token black guy were cool.
  5. It's only coming out tomorrow, toots.
  6. It doesn't need to stop. It needs to remain in orbit around Terra Nova. The terrorist is trying to use the 'thrusters' to push it out of orbit so it crashes into the planet. The asteroid was hijacked while on course to planet, not after it arrived. Even if it were in orbit, it would still need to be stopped, gravity pulling the thing toward the planet certainly won't help the situation. Anyway, playing Sunset Over Imdahl (play it foo's, short but fun story!) and hoping there's an expanded ending after the new game+, or I'm going to be...unsatisfied.
  7. I see. Most of this doesn't apply to me though (as I implied before, "we did experiments!" is enough justification for talking mutants to me in a '50 SCIENCE! setting), so I can enjoy it to my hearts content. The less RP-ish towns weren't a bother either, they did keep variety uő, smaller towns between cities are a nice touch in my book, aaaand... yeah.

Some prostitutes are more willing than others. Never had any problems getting Lenny laid in FO 2. Not really, if I wanted to convince people of my trolling, I'd drop VB references left and right too. Aw, beat me to the punch(line). It's hilarious though, wrong nation, wrong name for the method and a typo. Hard to top this. I find it strange that a "quick" dam sabotaging mission isn't aborted before the bombs are dropped. Do those ICMBs have no traveling time?
  9. I don't get the disjointed part, FO 2 seemed coherent to me (I'm sure many shout New Reno at the monitor now, but that's just one place). Lot's of farms and cowboys(brahmboys?)/ranchers, caravans, people getting by on what they can (gecko trappers, shiny metal miners, mercenaries, farmers again). There was an economy, NCR and Vault City not sharing much made sense, where's the problem?
  10. Maybe I always read the wrong interviews, but the unwritten law among game devs seems to be: Every iteration is good, I'm just humbly doing my part. Aww, there goes my theory.
  11. Am I the only person on Earth who had the trunk appearing in every single town? Actually, I had that one too. Also the dissapearing inventory bug. I've actually never been able to finnish the game. I always winde up getting critted by the inv. bug when it evaporates something neccessary for game completion, like the fob. Oh yes, that was a nice one. I never lost anything really important but it was annoying when it happened.
  12. Am I the only person on Earth who had the trunk appearing in every single town? I guess not. In some runthroughs it followed me everywhere without the rest of the car. Good, I was starting to get worried.

  14. If what I read is true (FO 2 areas developed by small teams with minimal communication between each other) then yes, there was a lot of luck involved. While I agree with your point mostly, there really is not much stopping them from making a similar quality game. Humor is not bad. I liked FO 2 the way it was. Besides, the '50 SCIENCE! theme is silly from the get-go. Apart from that, it was bigger than FO 1 (2-2 quest giver NPCs in the first two towns? Seriously?), had more of the same good stuff.
  15. Ah, I see.
  16. Your biggest worry is not to call an automatic save at the end of the game an autosave?
  17. Or they just don't care about propaganda enough for it to stick.
  18. Nice, I've been waiting for this.
  19. You could encourage him maybe to murder frightened, surrendered, shell-shocked and otherwise "harmless" enemies instead of civilians?
  20. You get a different save at the end of either playthrough, so it depends on which one you tell ME 2 to use.
  21. ME was a drunken navigation/driving simulator.
