What if you pick up Mira as neutral/LS, and then go full DS? Will Mira comply? In restored content, the DS rivalry between Visas & Handmaiden is rather amusing.

Letho didn't seem harder in melee than a regular grunt, the difference was just that he could use bombs and signs. The key is being aggressive to keep him attacking you in melee and prevent him from triggering Quen. His two-handed sword is pretty slow, it's easy to roll behind him and attack him in the back. Riposte works well too.

It's the second "RPG of the decade" this year, until Skyrim is released. Though it's not really "RPG" anymore. It's an action/adventure game with C&C at this point.

It seems the game is over as soon as Adrenaline is unlocked. With upgraded Quen, enemies practically kill themselves.

You could also make as many grapeshots as you can and just nuke them. This works pretty much with anything, in fact.

You can chicken out by collecting Cedric's traps and place them all in the middle of the area where they appear and leading them over it. I was forced to do it that way because Yrden never seemed to work, and I didn't want to fight them in melee.

Iorwen was more trusty than "the enemies of my enemy need to be shot with arrows" Roche. What a tool he was. Roche is the next best thing, after Geralt. Best NPC in the game by a lightyear. Roche actually helped the Kingslayer get away. He's a moron.
