    That ship has already sailed long ago. No one remember Girdle of Masculinity/Femininity? It's still equipped on Jaheira.

    It's kind of a rude awakening that Skyrim is worse in every way than Oblivion (after installing appropriate LOD and Beautification mod). Like suddenly finding out your gf has been cheating on your bff for nearly two years.

    Only game that ever got fantasy gender (and races) right was the ancient Dragonlance trilogy. But if I recall correctly male humans having very low INT and WIS was a (perhaps intentional) typo. Nobody cared that female fighters had fewer strength than males, look at Laurana and Kitiara - they were hot and badass.

    Well Brienne of Tarth aside, both the sisters/wives of Aegon the Conquerer were dragon-riding warriors and the Nymeria Arya keeps blathering about was a totally hot warrior queen. That aside, use of female soldiers/marines/mercenaries is pretty realistic in First Law, Malazan and Black Company universe.

    Knights of the Nine I really dislike. But it could've perhaps replaced the Fighters Guild questline from the vanilla game, which was totally worthless to begin with.

    I just decided I'm not going to play this game after all. That's what pushed you over the edge? It seems like one of their more tame plot devices, to be honest. That may very well be, but Jane Austen is sacrosanct.

    I preordered Alpha Portocol back in the day, but only played it once so far. I should replay it one of these days. But yeah, just thinking about tutorial mission and Saudi Arabia already make me reconsider.
