  1. When it comes to atmosphere, I like Honest Hearts the most. It simply hit the nail for me. Just sad that it wasn't very strong quest and dialogue-wise.
  2. Had no time to play it yesterday. Will probably grab it up again in sunday evening or monday evening, depending on my free time. Last thing I remember has been that I hate the robo-scorpions, because I couldn't damage them.
  3. No. This was the case in Fallout 1, not Fallout 2. And even the special encounters in Fallout 1 aren't as lolzy as the ones in Fallout 2.
  4. I've read that you can kill it, but never managed it by myself. The very first time, I could only run away and pray not getting killed until the elevator came back. On the next playthrough I found out, that I can kill the thing with crushing, etc. It was cool, but running away in fear was much cooler. "I am so strong, nothing can stop me, not even a punny little werewolf, come, get some!" *Werewolve gives out one hit, PC lost half health, gives out another hit, PC dead*
  5. If 4.5 out of 10 is "bad," what is < 4.5? :> /edit: But the new Call of Juarez didn't looked pretty good from the very beginning, imo. They should have sticked to the old wild west stuff. I mean, I can see why they wanted to go away from that and try something newer, but ... meh.
  6. Wow, funny. So funny, I laugh out loud! Now I am rolling on the floor, laughing! (Did you really laughed after experiencing THAT in the game? I was more shocked than anything else.) Not for me then. The idea is clear, but I never had the urge to laugh hard about it. So, where is the funny in here? Yes, and then a canadian gets executed. Hilarious! Yes, Fallout has dark humor in appropriate amount, but not lol humor like Fallout 2 with thousands of silly references. Since Fallout 2, the Fallout games seem to be all about references now. "It's Fallout in name only, if there are no references to every movie and book in the world!"
  7. Can't see the video. But if it's the intro: I know nobody who finds this laughable funny.
  8. No, it was not. God damnit. What the hell is wrong with these guys? fallout were funny. what has always confused Gromnir is the # o' hardcore fans who never got the funny. is like the folks who not see the funny in kill bill movies. in any event, owb sounds as if it is kinda a joke on the peoples who never got the funny o' fo. am perhaps curious enough to play. HA! Good Fun! Yeah, right. Show me all the funny in Fallout. And don't come with Fallout 2 now.
  9. No, it was not. God damnit. What the hell is wrong with these guys?
  10. Heh, I stealth-killed everyone in there with invisible spell 'n stuff. But it still was pretty hard. One of the hardest parts of the game, imo.
  11. Looks to me as if Flora has a very tedious job.
  12. When I saw this part of the dialogue, I wondered what America will have to say about it. After all, it's quite a lot talk about penises. :>
  13. They explained it in the dialogue with "Why are you talking through the same voice box?" I can't buy the DLC. Getting an error all the time, regardless of what I do. Steam doesn't want my money and I see no other way.
  14. Can't be. It must be a real time first person shooter or it will not sell.
  15. I don't have the german version, so I can't do it. Old World Blues update will be online as soon as I've got the DLC, btw.
  16. Well, thats depending on steam, pretty much. Guess we just have been lucky the last time, because I think Dead Money was released later here as well.
  17. So, it's out on steam now in north america. I can't even access the store page from here. Will be interesting to see when it becomes possible... Not that I have anything to hurry now, can't do this at work anyway, but still. :>
  18. Chris Avellone doesn't even post in here, so if you are a big fan or stalker of him, there must be better places to hang around.
  19. Man, he is talking weired stuff again. Especially the last two sentences can be really confusing. My guess is: Obsidian had experience with Fallout, but with ES, nobody else except Bethesda has experience with it (development wise). Also they try to keep their shizzle together and don't give it out to other people if not really needed. No clue if I got it right now, though.
  20. He makes as perfectly sense as prosper can.
  21. Huh, I just remembered, that OWB is going to be released tomorrow... Totally forgot about that.
  22. It's timelord technology, nothing to fix there. I don't think there is any room interior of that small size anyway. Plus, the room would be far too small for what is in there currently.
  23. Ah, that's another point I'd like to blame: Somehow it feels to me as if there wasn't enough advert for DS3. I mean, even the "Dungeon Siege in name only!" people came out only *after* the demo was released, never before, even though it was known in what direction DS3 is going.
  24. Didn't we agreed already that metacritic score is bull****? What I wonder is why DS1 sold at all. I can't remember anything that was revolutionary or such about that game.
  25. We can't really judge if 100k sold is a bad number, because we don't know how expensive that game was. :>
