  1. Heh, that was already in the beta. It ended up with me running diagonal nearly all of the time, because you have been faster than sprinting.
  2. Well, okay. I will never find out anyway, as I will not buy this DLC. Lonesome Road and Gun Runners' Arsenal will be the only ones. :>
  3. But you have 4 different armors. Use one, sell the other or sell everything right from the beginning. In any case it makes the beginning easier.
  4. What do you mean with "since they don't exactly stack?" As far as I know, you can use pre-order packs together and when you start the game the next time, you'll get the items into your inventory. Yes, they aren't useful late game, but they are more than a tiny boost in early game.
  5. Courier's Stash really seems to be highly game breaking. You start the game and get bombed with 4 equipment sets, urg.
  6. I am not surprised about the Bozar. Somehow everyone screamed about it and it's easy to implement (animations exist already). What is much more important: Will there finally be a City-Killer Combat Shotgun? :>
  7. I should buy me some Dungeon Keeper 2.
  8. You can even hack it, let it attack your enemies and carry it around while it kills stuff. :>
  9. I don't understand the sense behind this.
  10. I liked the demo. Thinking about buying the game now. Probably not on release though, but with the first steam special sale, which shouldn't take too long to come.
  11. They probably are exactly the same. But you can see that their face details are different. I am pretty sure that you still can morph the face, like in Oblivion and the later Fallout games. Now I just wonder if the rest of the game will improve as much as the characters faces did.
  12. I'll guess the game is pretty short if you run through it and don't take your time with exploring. I really hope it will not be 15 hours for me. That would be disappointing.
  13. Afaik, the Steam stuff is optional. You don't have to do that. /Edit: It's even written on the page. "Participation in the survey is optional,"

    Libya

But every german news site reports with "live ticker" 'n stuff that the rebels are very close with taking Tripoli.

So did they or did they not captured Tripoli? And if not, why would they claim that they have? To break resistance in other locations?
  16. Is it already playable outside of the EU?
  17. I just hope this week will be done fast, because I totally want to play DX3 now. Good thing is, monday is over soon (in germany)... only 4 days left.
  18. I doubt it is really connected to that. It's just easier and faster to do this multiplayer maps with ai + story == new campaign!!11 Especially considering that this was introduced since Relic is adding more than only one playable faction to the games campaigns. Example: DoW: Winter Assault had a real campaign, which also was pretty cool, imo. But Winter Assault also only got two playable factions (Imperials and Chaos(?)). Then came the next addon, Dark Crusade, which added the Tau and Necrons + what was there already in the main game and to give every faction some missions to play, they "dumbed down" the campaign structure and used this totally generic multiplayer map mission system. Soulstorm did the same... more factions and because players want to play singleplayer campaigns with their loved faction, they generalized the campaign again. Looking at DoW2 now, it is exactly the same thing. Chaos Rising = one playable faction and a good campaign (so far). With Retribution, the campaign was once again extremely generalized, so you can play it with each of the many factions you can chose from. That's totally quantity instead of quality. So... yeah. I am very certain they are able to create good and fully fleshed out campaigns. But only for one faction at once, not 5, 6, 7... For so many playable factions, they have to generalize the missions and maps in a campaign.
  19. Retribution is what I want to play next. I've actually started with it two days ago, but then I've realized that it seems to build up on Chaos Rising, so I thought it's better to finish that one first. But what I've played from Retribution so far was more a mediocre experience. They changed the gameplay once again, the missions feel like always the same again, etc. Got a bad feeling about this, sadly. Wasn't there talking about DoW3 going even more into this rts-rpg-thingy direction? Man, I just hope they will make it less repitative...
  20. Playing some Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising in the moment. Pretty good, better than the main game. Deeper gameplay and less repitative. Also for the very first time I am using the whole squad cast every once in a while and not only the same 4 over and over again.
  21. A website that nobody knows anyway. :>
  22. Made a new fancy mod. Posting it here, as it requires Honest Hearts. :>
  23. I thought that chapter 3 was long enough. The whole story got a "hurry! Hurry! They need yer help!" feeling for me at that point and I don't even wanted to waste more time with anything else.
  24. If I am not horrible wrong now, something like this can happen with Khajit furries. I think it was something like "if you are born in the month x, you are humanoid looking furry, if you are born in the month y, you are a more animal looking furry and if you are born in the month z, you look like a real animal." Don't really remember the canon, though. It's many years ago since I've checked it out the last time.
