  1. Maybe they should offer a healthloss penalty for fasttraveling based on the distance and armor (or the lack of it).
  2. Didn't Sawyer say, at some point, that armor affects fasttravelspeed?
  3. Care to elaborate on how these movement penalties are implemented? Because if it affects the speed at which the player walks from point to point in the gameworld outside combat, that's going be become a significant reason for me to avoid character builds that use the heavy stuff. I'd like to know that too. Though, for me it would be a welcome tradeoff for high DT. No more backpedaling away from enemies without a worry (if the effect is that strong, that is).
  4. About DT, since there probably are no different DMG types (like plasma, laser, normal etc) with separate DTs for each (or is there?), do the different armors affect the player in any other way that the DT? For one example: armor affecting moving speed to make light armors have at least some benefit over heavy armors, and to make the choice armor a bit more tactical?
  5. Ausir's F:NV preview part 2 Haven't read it all just yet, but this caught my eye:
  6. Have to agree with this. Shame, really, if DLC for what ever reasoning (be it Beths "people have to wait too long for an expansion" - with which I totally disagree - or whatnot) are now becoming the golden standard of expanding a game. It, kinda, feels like wiping the whippedcream leftovers from the edges of a caketray.
  7. Then again if a feature a perk offers is meaningless, doesn't that too make a perk meaningless? Cannibal and mister sandman come to mind on top of my hat as examples of nice features on paper but in the game they only have curiosity value.
  8. I wonder how big the sway effect of lacking STR will be per point.
  9. Good question. Hopefully not in the cutting room floor.
  10. As did I, and I hope the current music is up to par whit the originals. Though knowing Inons work, I doubt it'll be anything but forgettable, no offence to inoon should he read these forums.
  11. The music certainly hit my ears. I'd actually love if it was like in arcanum, but setting specific. Too bad we won't get Mark Morgan. The atmosphere is mostly created by music, or the lack of it, and sadly the current composer knows no such thing as atmosphere (at least in this setting) - until proven wrong.
  12. "fap" indeed.
  13. For some reason, I got the urge to help the CL. Pretty good opening speech.
  14. I rather like it the way it is described. Some thinking for the player too. Maybe it just should be made clear from the beginning, that some things are worth investigating closer (if there are more instances like this).
  15. Whoa, hope they nail it. My DK is starting show some wear after all these years.
  16. It can be that the dark area between changing too much and changing too little is being crossed on both titles, too. And changing the right things.
  17. The more I read about this new biosomething game, the less interested I get. Moving on... nothing to see there...
  18. Wait-- is there no head bobbing, or is it there, but not toggleable? I don't remember there being head bobbing in FO3. (And I think I would, as first-person games with head bobbing have been known to give me motion sickness.) No head bobbing in FO3 and nothing confirmed for F:NV. I like head bobbing - hovering camera feels boring to me - I also know some other people might not like, so I asked for a toggleable one.
  19. I wish they added toggleable head bobbing. Meh. I'm feeling random.
  20. It's called Psychonauts and it's awesome. Meanwhile at 2K offices: Just wait for Psychonauts horror FPS with another name by Irrational. With Big Daddies.
  21. REMShock, taking place in ones imagination.
  22. So it's the same thing as Bioshock "1", but in the air - and even with a Big Daddy substitute? Meh...
  23. I think there was just one "meter" for it that was like: bad<---->neutral<---->good. Yeah, it wasn't something to which I paid much attention. FO3 wasn't a game in which a reputation value seemed to matter very much. Yea, it really didn't.
