  1. Funny thing is, he may very well be dead soon. Tumour did not respond to first round of chemotherapy/.
  2. Well I might have one. But still, is bothersome to be missing out on any functionality
  3. Suck it up and deal with the old graphics. It's a bit jarring sometimes (SMAC, Pharaoh and X-Wing are the ones for me), but eventually it fades. Nothing like being stuck with old tech for years and years to stop caring about graphics that much
  4. Take it down a notch. Never! Just irritating to be aware they exist, much like Rob Ford. Still, the amusing thing about this is that all the, ahem, victims are doing pretty well. Why I laugh when I read people post about how terrible this and the lives "ruined". Rather surprised it has kept going, though I shouldn't be. War waged on social media where everyone must be a snarky **** at any given moment and SJWs that can't pass up on bait to prove they care.
  5. Well, in terms of the background I guess it is hard to make it 'open world' and not be like Skyrim. The content and stuff you do on that background is supposedly Bioware's strong point, so not much worry.
  6. All these people need to die.
  7. Will be a shame to miss out on all of this as I have an Nvidia card - might have one after my upgrade (970) - but I suppose it'll come down to minor stuff.
  8. The justice system screws up often in every place, you know. So your typical approach of the "Western systems are great" may be misplaced in this case and others.
  9. Had a mild case of motivation. Got better.
  10. He should open a Patreon, then.
  11. This was worth a snicker
  12. It really does seem as if she pulled off a masterful con and it is a simple play - say you were abused. She sounds like she sprung from white trash anyway, so that makes it even more likely. Had to laugh about the court caring whether she had been through enough. Also, am thoroughly surprised to find Bruce is okay with this.
  13. Spun off from EG, isn't it ? http://www.pcgamer.com/dragon-age-inquisition-hands-on-with-the-first-five-hours/
  14. Gray Matter, still. Adventure game protagonists can be quite sociopathic in the way they use people.
  15. I'm really glad I didn't pledge to this game. I mean, I hope it turns out to be great and will buy it in the future if it does, but I can't shake the feeling that Chris Roberts is biting off way more than he can chew here. The track record of games that have tried to be jacks of all trades is not very good. There are exceptions, of course, but more often than not when you tackle multiple game types at once you wind up with some, or all, of them being not very good. Here's hoping I'm wrong. If this fails Roberts will be a hunted man
  16. Well, that's another classic one from you. Hits keep coming.
  17. That's why there is a "Like" button, I suspect.
  18. No juice would be tough for me, I can't do without lemonade
  19. Good day, finished my assignment easily, won in chess and had bacon.
  20. I really don't understand people. Well ok, not like I ever did, but we live in the present.
  21. The dragon bit made me laugh. Some Twitter funnies again. Checked her privilege indeed.
  22. So based on that you work in every office in the world! I'm betting you read Dilbert and marvel about how true it is. I know I do! Hm, probably. I never throw coworkers under the bus, management is the enemy after all. But the guy that did this is a manager now, but was "one of us" once, heh. Company men, I guess. I don't really read Dilbert. I watch Office Space and dream of working there.
  23. Nice office drama - emails complaining of management's uselessness and then people snitching to management. Good times
