What are you Playing Now? Whatever happens, at least we're out of that mudhole, Gilded Vale.
Sorry, shouldn't have said series. Seems like they were planning sequels to Andromeda, but those got nixed.

And done Andromeda. Boss fight was as dumb as I expected, but it was nice to see my entire squad there - although wasn't sure what they were doing if anything, heh. Overall, still a decent experience, avoided doing most of the grindy stuff other than the memory fragment stuff which wasn't too bad to do. The constant traveling for quests was annoying, think the worst for that was Peebee's loyalty quest or maybe the quest to hunt down the pregnant scientist. Sunk 62 hours into this, so got decent mileage out of the $10 I spent on it and then some, I spent 75 h in ME:LE, heh. Benefit of so many years since release, I guess. It is sort of disappointing they dropped the series, if I am recalling correctly, the setting is interesting and the crew is...mostly characters i enjoyed (Liam and Peebee can go).

I liked the professor that assumed we were all subhuman trash he was forced to teach things our troglodytic minds couldn't grasp in a century. Nice guy once you get to know him though

Me too, I desperately needed those 80s 😛 But generally the idea of "useful" degrees just devolves into STEM graduates degrading everything else, heh. Yep, but that ship has sailed long ago - can argue the focus on them now does warrant tertiary education being free or heavily assisted, I guess. Anecdotal for sure, but the rare time I interviewed college graduates (once the senior people stopped masturbating over Waterloo) I found them to be capable at just doing the work needed.

Ukraine Conflict - "A state of war only serves as an excuse for domestic tyranny"
Wonder if they confused the term/slang 200 for the number of dead. Thread would be pretty boring otherwise

Ok, so then make it free but have a minimum requirement for it to be so.

Most of it I see is people who paid off their loans griping at it. For some reason. Surprised to not see more fear mongering about the Commies though

Talking about Sweden and Finland is a case of spinning things a bit, though. I suppose in the Moskva's case, you could be very creative and say the storm just took advantage of the missile damage to sink her But those two countries are now against Russia moreso, no? So just a sneaky interpretation of it, half truths and all. Likewise with Shoigu's take (military pauses always have funny explanations). Outright lies isn't much to be shocked at either, though. If you've been around long enough anyway. Have to save face no matter what, hah.

Honestly didn't know much of what Serbia did in the war, sort of funny that's a total blank spot for me. Game sounds potentially interesting, play both theater and field commander.

Always need bodies for rear echelon activities, as well. Skimming Wikipedia he did agree he would have died on front line, though. Well Kalibrs and Iskanders aren't cheap, and they've fired a lot of those. Their 152mm stockpiles must be immense, read accounts in east of seemingly endless barrages, assuming it's not fear mongering for free weaponry.

Well you can calculate losses via material and use of weapons. Hard to know for certain for the Russians, but it is something to wonder about. As for what they lost, I think the Oryx guy online handles that, or some other OSINT can help. Well and you can trust the Pentagon BoJo back in Kiev, things must be bad in UK..

Ukraine Conflict - "A state of war only serves as an excuse for domestic tyranny"
It's not a strange question, really. The war has an economic dimension. And also it wasn't equating anything beyond what the US and others are giving Ukraine and Russia spending. Strange to turn him back, why give up free bodies.
