If you are out of ammo then yeah, but he can only take like 8 or so stun charges before he goes down (normal difficulty). Plus there's like a dozen explosive barrels around you can throw in his face. Playing on hard, finally got it, backtracked to get an AR. Damn his nade spam though.

Well, the first boss sure was a bit irritating. Into China at the moment, I can kind of understand why people say the game emphasizes the sneaky sneaky approach, still enjoyable.

Well the cool guys card is working, then, don't give consumers too much credit. Have they really trash talked those two that much ? I remember them saying their game will look better than DA2 but nothing else, or I've forgotten.

Kind of funny to suggest medication though, heh. Every 2 years for a Deus Ex game, well I wouldn't be shocked - Square said they had a 10 year plan for the new DX or something along those lines. But EM are the new rock stars so how can it go wrong ?

That's good news for CDR, would have expected more than 200,000 digital copies though.

The people were pretty experienced though, so the age of the studio isn't exactly a huge factor in the silly comparison between the two, heh. Hope EM does well though with the new DX series, except for Dugas though.

I just hover over the crash site / base until it's noon, and then enter. Yep, I do that, tend to lose out on missions often though, but oh well.

Last day before a 4 day weekend, nothing planned but playing a mix of DX:HR, A2:OA and EVE (W-space op this weekend). Only 7 hours to kill, so clock watching time.

Finally got DXHR going, only had time to endure the intro and chat with that Pritchard guy.

X-COM night missions with no flares, ah the joy of hearing something moving around out there. Still skip night missions

Saves the developer's work I guess, not having to make sure a variety of ammo is available - I never really had a problem in DX unless I decided aiming was for fools. Making ammo need weight/inventory space or just fiddling with the availability (albeit a bit cheesier) is a bit better than having a sniper eat into his CQ weapon's ammo, for example. Feel like playing a new adventure game, but not seeing one that catches my eye, so am going to replay Syberia.

Meanwhile the other side thinks....
