  1. Infobox, since it automatically parses them. I'm moving them as I go. Also, I need to do the recipes tomorrow. For crafting.
  2. I moved it to The Vault https://fallout.gamepedia.com/Simple
  3. I celebrate that! On the walkthrough front, I'm finally MOSTLY done with Neketaka. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get that mod to function, it keeps insisting on trying to get the DLLs from pillarsofeternity2_data/pillarsofeternity2_data instead of pillarsofeternity2_data/data :/ It should give you the base values when you loot the item or acquire it via dialogue. Basically, whenever I see a gold background, I go "STOP WIKI TIME" (I kid, I have the wiki open on the other monitor and just hammer the data in as I play). A good idea. I even know of a template that (might) be of use) We really need an Eder emote here You can PM them to me or share in the thread. That'd be of tremendous help.
  4. I disagree. From the perspective of stability, Skaen is an outlet for people so low on the social ladder that the piss coming down from above feels like a cold rain. It gives them one final recourse against the abuses of the powerful in the form of the Effigy - and keeps them from rebelling every time by killing those most devoted to the cause in vain attempts to summon it. Skaen isn't the god of change. He's the god of scheming. Magran, Galawain, or Hylea would be much better candidates for the gods of social change.
  5. Can you link me to it? I'd like to take down two Thaoses with one stone.
  6. Awesome. Whenever I find a page filled in, I get a warm fuzzy feeling. It helps. Especially when I realized I left the cheats on and now I don't get achievements. Bummer.
  7. Splitting the pages in the long term is good. The ultimate goal is to have an autogenerated Cargo table, rather the fixed one in place, but my concern is to get functional content out first.
  8. That's what we're doing, yeah. I've also completed main lists of unique items: Accessories, weapons, armor, pets, etc. and I'm adding to it as I go: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Pillars_of_Eternity_II:_Deadfire_accessories If you find any, just hit the edit button and add them if you can.
  9. What you thought. That doesn't mean it's actually best for her and the Dyrwood. Especially since your influence got her disgraced, kicked out of her order, and banished from the Republics. I would be pretty pissed if someone's influence caused that.
  10. First of all, THANK YOU. I'll try to make a point of thanking every contributor individually in the future, but I'm only a catman. I get distracted by shiny things. To the point: The Infobox weapon poe2 template was a straight port of the template from poe1, so it has a number of legacy entries and lacks those for the new system, which is my fault. Adding them manually (attack_time, recovery_time, penetration) works perfectly. I'll probably run a cleanup bot once things wind down, but for now, as long as the infobox shows, it shows. Good point - though I think it would be better to have a separate section in the article text showing the upgrades, as some items, like Eder's armor have four of them (plus, a table is a good deal more flexible). I'll prototype an example tomorrow. My approach is the opposite: Show the weapon's damage after bonuses apply, since each weapon type has an intrinsic base damage that's modified by the bonuses/enchantments. That's the practice for every unique item, especially since my intention is to allow for casually glancing at the infobox and figuring out what the damage is, without having to calculate them by enchantments. Awwwwesome <3 Yes, that's what should be done - and what I've been doing since realizing that two days ago. Given that the values are different, separate entries for the enchantments make sense. Plus, with {{!}} you can display them as just Fine/Exceptional/Amazing, so Awwwwesome <3 The JSON plugin here seems to work: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99410-for-those-wondering-how-to-beautify-the-gamedatabundles/ Of course, I did things the hard way when making the deploy. Now, imagine doing all of that by hand, just from ingame items. I did that for Tyranny.
  11. https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Pillars_of_Eternity_II:_Deadfire_combat I've added your formulas under damage calculation, insofar I understood them. I'm not sure I grasp attack rate well. Damn it, Mad, I'm a writer, not a mathematician! The wiki continues and as of a while ago, we have all the items seeded - consumables included! Now it's filling time. And recipes. And... Yeah. Iceberg and toothpicks. Thanks to everyone who's helping out!
  12. Well, navigation can be spotty and I'll be the first to admit that. I'm open to suggestions (plus, after spending the better part of a year overhauling the entire wiki, adding lore, characters, quest coverage, locations etc., I kind of ran out of time to revamp the navigation as well).
  13. As with the first installment of Pillars of Eternity, the wiki is here to help you brush up on your lore, companions, and everything that happened thus far. https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Official_Pillars_of_Eternity_Wiki We're currently in the process of updating it with Deadfire content, which means a whole lot of work. Nearly all of the items are online (item data to be added, because I like doing it manually; I also like hammering nails into walls with my fists), as are seeds for characters, quests, and everything else. But Tagz, you cuddly little critter, what will happen should I find something missing? Well, this is where I'd appreciate a little help. There's me, the insane cat feller who likes to document just about everything, down to Aloth's shaved arm pits, but this kind of precision takes time. If you can add anything, even where to find razors to win Aloth's favor, I'd be grateful. Every single edit helps! What's the general approach? Go wild. Hoping to see you guys there! In the meantime, I'm back to taking down an iceberg with a toothpick. :D
  14. Something that has been bugging me since the beta. I specifically checked Pillars 1 just to make sure I'm not hallucinating. Pillars 1 takes place in 2823 AI. Pillars 2 takes place five years later... In 2823 AI. Given the prominent way the date's displayed during world map travel and in the journals and when entering eg. Port Maje, this is... Well, kind of annoying.
  15. I'm Polish and I don't really care about what the accents are, as long as they fit the character. I love Xoti's (it was a surprise to me, as I never followed companion blogs or reveals, just to keep the experience intact), as it fits her character and it sets her apart. Maneha was... Strange? Especially given Kana's rather unique method of speaking, but on the other hand, she's a mercenary who spent most of her life on the trail. Sagani wasn't a problem for me, as it helped defy the usual Exotic Wild Person From Exotic Wilds Speaks Exotically trope. Insofar I'm concerned, Obsidian generally nails it, from KOTOR to PoE2. I think the only time the voice didn't fit the character was in Dead Money - and that was on purpose.
  16. It's basically a way for you to create a PoE1 endgame save file without putting 60+ hours into replaying the game just to get the variables you want.
  17. Assuming it's actually MCA and not some elaborate attempt to attack Obsidian on the eve of their biggest independent release in retaliation for Sawyer's words about RPGs being held back by traditionalists hurting peoples fweelings.
  18. Speaking from memory: If it's considered material to an investigation or court case, pretty much yes. Otherwise you get slapped with obstruction of justice (especially if you delete it).
  19. This is what makes me question the legitimacy of the revelations and the poster. I don't recall Avellone ever being this nasty (**** in your mouth, really?) even while replying to the billionth question about the Fallout Bible and its status. Also, do we have any actual evidence, or is it all word of mouth (or forum post)?
  20. Dang it, Cargo is finicky. As a consolation for everyone, I just finished compiling companion banter: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Pillars_of_Eternity_companion_banter
  21. I usually do it with AutoWikiBrowser, not much of a coder. Dammit Bors, I'm a writer, not a scripter! I also apologize if the main page was broken for the past hour or two. I made a dumb mistake.
  22. :D Imagine having to do null edits on 250 articles by hand. I think this is how Rymrgand engineers soul entropy.
  23. Barring summoned weapons (which should be included... Eventually ), the Cargo tables should be populated. In general, the system sometimes gets a hiccup and fails to populate. An empty edit suffices. If you find a weapon that's missing, consider making a null edit (hit Edit Source, then save the page without any edits) and it should populate properly.
