There have always been 64 bit OS's normally for servers though, as was stated because of that there are very few drivers for them. Once again everyone talks as if 64 bit computing is something completely new. Secondly what I read was that longhorn is scheduled for a 2005 release and will use true 64 bit computing.(also I have never heard of 64 bit XP) When I said standards that is because people like AMD need to make upgrades easier. People who bought the original 64 bit chips are screwed when the move to PCI express and DDR 2 come down the line. All new boards that support AMD 64 will be socket 939 meaning no swapping an old board for a new one with out a new proc.

While I agree with that some what, for the militery to go against the direct wishes of our congress and their commander and chief is a little scary. :ph34r:

There is a flaw with that most people over 21 one make the same bad choice, or are you under the impresion only 18-20 year olds get DUIs and in accidents? So maturaty does not come into it. The law is only worried that you understand the difference between right and wrong. Which is why that law makes no sense, they know it is wrong the law is just trying to save them from making a bad decision that could litteraly affect the rest of their lives.

Sorry posted before edit? My point is they know while drinking by its self is not wrong drinking and driving home is. That is what I am talking about they are adult enough to know murder is wrong but not to know that driving while impaired is wrong. Our government more wants to protect them from making a bad decisions than saying they don't know better.

In cases such as murder it is handled the same here. Shouldn't as in refuse or shoudn't as don't have the cognitive ability to reason that taking someones life is trafficing a controled substance or drinking to much and driving is wrong? Getting a liscence means nothing to the argument, as in America we don't see driving as an adult only priviledge. You simply are not considered an adult if you do not recieve all adult privlidges plain and simple. By doing it the way they do an 18-20 year oldsare neither an adult considered responsible for own actions and can consume alcohol, or a child not responsible for own actions and can not consume alcohol. The ages of 18-20 are more or less second class adults. This is what truely boggles my mind as it has been shown you can be just as impared from beer as wisky.

Chances are running an AMD you won't be able to without changing the voltages. Except for some of the Barton chips AMD locks their multipiers. Also with what some unscrupulous venders did when they unlocked them for a bit you robably wont see that happen again for some time. Barton core is the 2500 and up. I must say though I know someone who got a 2600 with unlocked multipliers and runs it a 3000XP speeds with no lock ups or crashes.

No not really Sajahurmaaja. By our own laws what makes an adult is the ability to tell right from wrong.(this is speaking for the US only) Our governing bodies feels an 18 year old knows well enogh that murder, theft, drug and illegal weapons trafficing is wrong, but that they don't know when they have had enough alcohol. Considering that past the age of 21 some people will never understand this how is it fair. The said 18 year old can serve a death sentence for a henious crime as any adult would, but not drink beer because he is a minor. You don't see how that doesn't make sense? Our government needs to relise this and change something. Wether it be you are considered an adult a 21 or you can drink at 18 you make the call. The fact remains to consider some a minor in one aspect and an adult in another is a double standard and needs to be fixed.

As are the rest of the polititions in Washington that voted for the war. So your point is? You are quite right but that doesn't excuse them from making other adult decisions that negatively affect their lives. Driving while drunk, drug use, pregnancy these are all things that could affect their lives for many years and fall under the indistructable mind set, or how about that will never happen to me mind set. Do you expect them to act like an adult and accept the consiquences of those actions? The difference between a 18 year old and a 30 year old is experience, and the 18 year old always has more experienced people to fall back on and ask for help or insight. The true problem is at that age they think they know everything. So they have made their decision now they must live with it. Unless you are the type of person that doesn't believe in personal responsibility in which case they don't.

Volourn I don't know if that was directed towards me or not but I feel I need to point some things out. I don't dissagree they should be paid the best. I just think it is funny they think they Deserve millions. Irrelevant to any argument. As I said even the base slary for one year is more than most people will see in 2 to three. So the amount of money they make negates the need to work anymore. A copout used by every pro athlete. Construction workers, firefighters, police officers, and correctional officers not only can get injuries that can end their carrers prematurly but don't have the luxury of an outrageous salary to fall back on if it happens. I can't really dissagree with you on that. Unfortunatley anyone who deals with the public must put up with that type of stuff. I have not seen anyone say sales clerks should be paid millions for dealing with the public. This is a mixed bag. Should taking personal freedoms away from a player be worth lots of cash? Well ask Jay Williams what he thinks about it right now. (Before things get messy with me having the wrong name. Maybe a Chicago native that is an avid fan could confirm or deny if it was Jay that took a fall on the bike.) Once again some thing normal people have to do. I have a friend that travels sometimes six months out of the year all over the US. He is a claims asessment agent for State Farm. As a matter of fact he had been down in Florida asessing damage from the first hurricane to roll through. He is managing to get maried and doesn't even have the luxury of retirering at 35 if he wants. There are negatives but with the exception of 1 they are the same for most normal jobs. As I said in my above post these strikes are more to try and prove who is more important to the game than anything else, and yes volourn I agree the owners are just as much blame as the players.

Quite frankly there is no solution. This is something that happens in every sport and shows what profesional athletes, and club owners are all about. While I can not blame them for taking the money given them by the owners I can blame them for being so out of touch with reality as to think they deserve it. Lets look at the benefits of being a pro athlete shall we. 1)Fame: Most athletes can be fairly certain they will be recognized at least all over the US if not the world. 2)Fortune: While league minimums are way lower than what a superstar would get, most are more than the average person would get in 2 to 3 years working. 3)World travel: Most of these people see more of the US, or the world than even some poloticians. While some of you might not see that as a perk I do. All this bickering about money between the players and the owners is getting old. Play the damn game since it was your love for the game that brought this far and not your love of the money. On the flip side loosen the damn puse strings, if you liked the game enough to buy a team realise you might not make money with the venture. IMO it is nothing more than the 2 sides fighting over who is more important to the game. When in all honesty they are equally important to the game.

I have shown in previous posts you don't fully comprehend the fact that genetic manipulation has happened through out human history on both plants and animals. Your whole argument was that you don't consider selective breeding as genetic manipulation. Well fine then what is it? Oh and you can not use it is a natural breeding process as even White knows artificial ensemenation happens frequently. Hardly a natural process. Only partially correct because I brought it up in my post you saying what you did implied I am one of those people, wether you meant to or not it still happened. There are a few problems with your argument. First problem and you stated it yourself they are law breakers. A ban on hunting will change nothing if they are inclined to break the law now it will be just as easy for them if another law is passed. The second is it is hard to preach conservation to someone who is afraid his lively hood is affected by said animals. While I understand what you are saying our bond with animals goes back a longer time than that. While it might not have been put to writing or an actual hypothises been made our bond with animals goes back at least to the frist domesticated animals. Why would we have wanted some of them as pets unless we felt some bond between us and them. Secondly I and our law makers understand that which is why laws and regulations where past. Thirdly please do not mix the killing of humans and animals. While both atrosities where terrible I would choose human life over an animal life an day of the weak, but that is just me. You see this is what I am talking about. A truly enlightened individual would never resort to personal attacks such as these. With each of these statements while not coming right out and saying it you give the implication I am dumb. I never once said you were dumb or lacking intelegence things I did say are you are hypicriticle and don;t quite understand everything about the subjects you talk about. Ok well lets back up here a second maybe I did take that to personally. To be honest though there is no difference when you say you seem dumb, and you are dumb. It is your opinion though. Secondly I understand exactly what you are saying, but is so often the case some one takes to broad an arguement to argue over. This was to braod an arguement and showed you knew little of farming and the farming industry. As I said farmes and the farming industry have genetically manipulated plants and animals for centuries. So there is not one piece of meat, vegetable, canned good, or even milk that has not come from something genetically modified. As I said it is a crude way but still genetic modification. When confronted with this fact you then tried to defend your stance by simply saying you don't consider that genetic manipulation. What your better argument would have been and one I would not have argued with you on is I don't like genetic modification through gene splicing. The reason you would have gotten no argument from me is I know little about gene splicing. Also when I said this it was in reference to what white had said. This was a response White had given me earlier in the thread. I figured if you had read this you would understand the majority of genetic scientists have not introduced unnatural traits into these plants. Is it from a seperate plant yes, unnatural no. The last to things I want to adress are things you said and then took back. When you post after some one about some thing in their post wether you mean it or not you are talking about them. You quite simply make an implication. If you don't like sport hunting you are entitled to that opinion, but if you think hunting isn't highly regulated you are wrong there also. All things that occure naturally in plant life. Really was it not their invention that delivered the first Atomic weapons to their targets? So in reallity their invention truely did risk armageddon as it was the direct means of transportation of a science that could truly destroy the world.
