Only congress can declare war, which is why most actions taken after the Korean war have been called some thing different. The president has the ability to send troops to a conflict for a limited amount of time, I think 90 days after which he must seek congressional approval to keep them there. Which is why our fore fathers wrote into the constitution that every citizen has the right to own a firearm. No ruler in his right mind is going to try and take those measures while the average American can own a gun, because there would most definately be an uprising. Also the seperation of church and state has been twisted over the years. It was a provision to keep the church safe from the government not vice versa. Remeber the original settlers were leaving England partially because of its state sponsored church.

Ok this is only a post in reference to the firearms. There is no single gun that is labeled a cop killer, it is a round fired from a gun. It only differs from a normal round in the fact that it is teflon coated thus allowing it to penetrate a bulletproof vest thus dubbing it a cop killer. Secondly any rifle can be used as a sniper rifle as it is the skill of the shooter and not the gun that makes a sniper. Since some of you want a gun for a possible anarchy situation I suggest a Kalashnikov(? sp) also known as an AK-47 they were built to take a lot of a buse and funtion in adverse conditions. Do I htink you will need it? No but it always agrivates me to see things like what was mentioned happen. No matter how unpopular their veiws were they have the right to express them. Almost the whole Peace Keeper and Scaran fleets were destroyed by Crichton, D'Argo died, and now John and Aryen have a baby. Rigel has been asked to come and rule Hyneria again and Stark no longer posseses his powers. They did a whole lot in the 4 hours they had.

Wow what an ending that will go down as some of the best eps for me although it wasn't left as open ended as I thpught it would be. Remember the revelation last night was that Sebaceans are artificially evolved and enhanced by the Odelons(sp?). Also I was talking technologically advances it seems the Scarans are quite a bit more advanced. You would think the advances would be great for a race that was able to artificially evolve and enhance another, which is what the Sebaceans are working from. P.S. I think it has something to do with control, easier to control if suseptable to heat or a draw back to the enhanced abilities. In previous episodes it had been shown that Sebatians have better reflexes, more strength, better hearing and eyesight than humans of earth. So what does everyone think of the First enstallment? Heh there were some revelations and things that happened that absolutely floored me. Ok so the Olians took humans increased their evolution and enhanced them and called the Sebatian. Why is it that the scarans are so technologically more advanced than the peace keepers. Wrong the President answers to congress so if he kills someone while in office the boss can be removed. Its called checks and balances the President does not have free reign. Also being president is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week job, not just a 9 to 5 job, so even when he goes home or to a vacation spot he is still the president and expected to act accordingly and carry out the jobs of the president. I never said they were bad, I said the fan out cry was so that DC was obligated to bring them back. It was a marketing ploy as Marvel was beating them into the dirt at the time. Crisis was good but as usual in the comic industry DC didn't force the story writers to stick to it so they were able to bring back people who died and what not. What you have to remember is most of the characters today(especially DC's) are very old so the companies thought they needed to shake things up a new Batman after Bane broke Buce Waynes back, the death of Superman, Aquaman losing a hand, and after everyone of them the fan outcry was so much that guess what the story lines were reversed.
