I can't be assed to read the whole thread due to the bickering but sorry if i missed a detail. I am reluctant to accept diagnosis of behavior unless it is an extreme and inhibiting, it is hard to see anything objective to qualifing and grading where and to what degree a persons mental electro-chemical action is making them incapable of this or that general line of functioning. The care provider has an invested interest in being a reliever of symptoms rather than purge them, particularly with our current pill society he is all but a bald pill merc. The important thing is responsibility, you don't need to role play a disability just because you may have this or that disadvantage or hardship. Accept responsibility for yourself, in my opinion you have to 'raise your vibes' stop consuming garbage intellectually and dietarily(and socially...), if you need to produce more you need more energy and it has to come from changes somewhere. A realistic approach to improving diet and exercise with appropriate goals is a good start. Refined sugars and processed foods and other unhealthful things are a matter of individual tolerance, but they have negative effects and can definitely contribute to problems like you discribe... This is where I would start and then look at other things in your life focusing on the only surrounding yourself with at least that which provides mutual support. Deadass associates will need to go eventually, sooner is better than later. In my opinion your difficulties working boil down to complaicency. Either your needs and goals are way to low or someone/thing else is meeting them for you or something. Treat your work as the hunting that puts food on your plate and unclouds your future and not chores that are unrelated to meeting your needs . Basicly my suggestion is crap in crap out philosophy. Start paying attention to what is going in to the system so you can feel better and work better. Don't bomb yourself with things like soda and television and hang out with those that enable and sabotage. Start simple and acheivable then pick up the pace.

An accomplished 72 year old desides to call it, for whatever reasons and circumstance of his own and he is a coward? It's barely worth pointing out spitting on a dead man is some pretty thin bluster. Honestly though the first thing I thought was that the 'he was there for a movie' was a made up niceity, and there is other speculation around the nature of the event. I haven't had a chance to gather it up...

I think The Strangers mod for original freedom force was one of the best things ever.

Americans set to get standardised/universal healthcare

I meant to be done with this subject but I can't get over the attitude of entitlement here. The standing budget outline only covers 2/3'ds the projected cost with the remainder needing to materialize out of already monumental deficet spending. How can that tax money be treated as if it is unspoken for in the first place when we are piling debt to the moon? The completely unensured poor human beings who god forbid have to face reality on their own devices are only in the ball park of 15% or so of the people and realisticly the bottom 15% in productivity, taking on yet another huge government boondoggle to bandaid that is a net loss for the general population, its an impoverishing move. Well it is dubious to assume any interest in this subject is selfless. Demanding free stuff from a broke community institution is hardly selfless. I do not go out and buy a new jet ski to cheer myself up after missing a couple mortgage payments, if you believe a government can make a move like that work its only because you want to be complicient and beneficiary to a robbery in some other quarter. The victim without advocate being the general youth and future generations, in 19xx i left highschool and after a couple months had a $8 an hour job in a bakery, back then it was reasonably comfortable money believe it or not, todays kids can probably go into debt living out of a used car and the inflationary effects of the higher gear of borrowing we have been in since last november are not even being felt yet. Of course people are relentless in their ability to not give a sh!t about inflation, where its coming from and what you are borrowing against. Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane. -
The Wrestler is good imo.

And here we have proof positive that democracy is inherently a very, very bad idea. Taxation without representation is the way foward. It seems like you meant to insult me but if so you inverted the principle. You get your 'rights' such as they are from the rule of law. If you hated my opinion democracy is actually the best way to marginalize it. A responsible opinion will be drowned in the 'free=give me, i deserve it sentiment'. Democracy is two wolves and a sheep discussing whats for dinner. Majority rule has nothing to do with 'rights' and 'ethics'... In terms of this scenario the sheep is the general youth and future generations, taxation without representation is what you do to them with all this beg and borrow and heap debt on debt. -

I guess that was directed at me since I might be the only one against it, 'Denmark, Britain, Sweden ect are well off with no debt' That is great but it doesn't help. The US is not in that financial condition, has 300+ million citizens and obscene debt. -

You're right: universal healthcare is a pipe dream. Why did all those silly countries-that-aren't-America bother implementing it? The fact that's it's been working for decades now is an illusion. Soon the debt fairy will come to collect all in one lump sum! Of course you think this is untouchable. What aspect of 'working for decades' says sustainability to anyone in todays climate? The unavoidable fact is that an ounce of prevention(responsibility) while free to begin with is worth a pound of cure. Why meet the demand for free pounds of cure except to capture the vote of the irresponsible. Another 'obama promise' to dig people out of the hole they dug themselves while piling on ever more debt. -

Universal health care is fantasy induction, I wish the average dodo would look in the mirror and see the only 'free' health care provider anyone can give him. -
If you're not talking about Zeno Clash you are wrong

I agree I saw a preview for it so long ago but actually watching it, I don't know how to respond to it. Spike Lee is such a ham. I watch Yesman and Doubt, both excellent imo.

Tokyo Zombie. An epic tale.

I agree, its a positive example, it sounds like he is salty from a level of local overexposure. I was wondering wtf with such a venomous take on someone's stellar work and accomplishments. I am probably going to get this along with And Yet it Moves next time/money for some gaming. The both look appealing to me.

An individual can get anywhere they want or need to with the proper motivation talent and other determinants. Always could, always will. However said individual's social interest group is just a stationary target looking for a handout, and a source of energy for leaders and various other exploiters. Only thing you can do in a flock or a herd is get sheared or get slaughtered. Being born 'poor' is being born to irresponsible people, being born 'rich' the opposite, the focus then should be having and assuming responsibility to future generations. The point of that statement is to discourage squeaky wheel approach to social change which is inherently lazy and greedy, tantamount to begging... Find it broke? Try fixing it! Growing up in Alaska I used to lament how the natives got such a raw deal from 'us' (whatever qualified that...). I went back a couple years ago though and I couldn't find evidence of any G-men who's job it was to ducttape these guys to the curb and poor scotch all over them.

I thought Tropic Thunder was great, you may be surprised. I agree Pineapple Express was doo doo. Seth Rogan is wearing out the mook bit in a hurry. I saw a preview on watchmen for his next turd which he plays a mall security guy, its called report and obey or something similar.

The bits I've seen in the recent trailers bring jade empire to mind, which is a mild off put for realism, I plan to get the game anyway but going through armed people one after another with JE type long attack strings... Will he have any trips takedowns or stomps? Some strong judo tosses to make the multi target melee work? I would figure the martial art skill branch would have less wing chun flavor and a lot more tactical and dirty.

Hrm barbarian. I need to soap up my internet use as well aparently

There is a lot of symbolism going on in the watchmen, superheroes and supernatural as a medium are generally saturated with meaning. The story arc and relative power of each character is completely symbolic of the role and result of the ideology the character expresses verbally. In that sense even minute changes in events can put a real twist on what may have been the authors intent. It was pretty faithful, but some end changes were not a surprise.
-
Well horror boils down to the supernatural and/or crazy people. Season with pacing, an initially powerless protagonist and maybe a mystery. Most sensible folks are not scared of those things so it a hard sell. Gamewise I appreciated a well maintained mood as in Eternal Darkness and the Hotel in Bloodlines sprinkled with high anxiety situations like the Werewolf fight in bloodlines. The you lose try again factor kills the fear of failure or elation of surviving a good scrap though.

Eternal Darkness for GC is nice, it would be a stretch to say its scary but it holds a nice mood and tone and is well contructed.

I saw it a while ago, I was suprised that Oliver Stone chose to go gentle with Bush. Or at least he didn't really seem to wanna bash him in particular. I got the feel through the movie that George W. Bush was just a simple guy from Texas, not particularly bright, but not outright stupid either. And I felt kinda sorry for him in the end, because the movie potrays his failing abilities as a consequence of the enormous responsibility and being pulled/manipulated in every direction, by advisors who do think he's an idiot and want to push their own agenda through. So I think it's good, but mostly because I knew nothing of the guy except what he said and did as president. I thought most of the same. The player is a bit too burly for bush though, the guy could have played or have been playing Brett Farve or something all of the representations were rather hammy. Also they made a point of incorporating some of his famous one liners and miss speakings but no fish remark At least superficially it was highly promotional towards him. It also has triple threat Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush.

You seen bubba ho-tep? fun movie. Yay Elvis and JFK vs the Mummy. Did anyone else bother to watch W?
