  1. I don't care about resource reduction I would just like non plank/stem items going directly to inventory
  2. Items made from scanning and that are available through brain power should get a enhanced version. Kinda like torch+, canteen+, finflops+ have enhanced versions through brain power the same should be through brain power. Like bee armor gets fall protect, black ant armor gets give friend ver 2.0 which makes black ants friendly or the antlion armor give high noon where the first arrow fired in combat does double damage
  3. Can we have an aphid in a wheel powering it
  4. The liquids are currently different colors but yeah it needs to be more prominent. Maybe put a juice box, water drop and soda can on the actual shell
  5. @LadyBugWinsDoes this look like the face of mercy to you It's roughly the side of marshmallow so your Palisades should protect you
  6. Unless it's a few species of brooding frogs tadpoles most frogs ignore their young or eat them. But I like your idea of skills of species summons it. So keep in mind most frogs are gonna be to big. Would recommend cane toad or bullfrog to fill giant boss. To big to even register your movements. So less of a threat. Frogs do shed their skin so maybe a healing item or slime or maybe even a deadly toxin with toads case If you want a frog enemy or friend(rodeo if you ride it) the Little Grass frog is a solid fit. At around 1.25cm or 1/2" it would actually be smaller than the current tadpoles.
  7. While cools not really feasible at the player scale as the bugs skeleton would limit this t only be used on aphids grubs and mites. It would be lower than sprigbow regardless of poison
  8. Need to be updated. As it is we only have dandelions. Blow are suggestions Naturals: found in game 1. Maple seeds- these are the helicopter seeds. While the player spins it doesn't affect camera movement. 2. Drink umbrella- harvested from the sandbox. 3. Cat tail - gained from pond Crafted 1. Parashoot- using fibers, silk and petals. 2. Ladybird glider 3. Beetle glider 4. Butterfly/moth glider 5. Cape- works on principle of a squirrel's tale at players size
  9. Can we get 1/4 pieces as well in both vert and flat. Would be helpful for basic and advanced building
  10. This is not a request for custom setting. I know it's there but this seems to be needed in the base game. It seems that they need to make it where you can make a pheromone spray to deter other bugs from attacking you. This would be done for certain groupings of animals and hostile actions will disable this. The first group would be for hive minds. This would make ants, bees and termites tolerate your close presence. The second is beetle dudes. Which would make larvae, ladybird, ox, bombardier and stinkbugs friendly though a stinkbug may still last during the animations. The third is mite t fine. Makes mites non hostile. Useful for collecting lint. The forth is get off. It make mosquitos flee from your smell. Side not I wouldn't mind seeing a half-life nod and see a head lice helm which looks like a head crab. Bonus
  11. Hive mind mutation. Lvl1 deposit 150ish food items down the ant hole in the red ant hive. Food is including raw meat, human food, and honey dew. The reward is that you now are in tune with the red ants. They accept you and you are allowed within the hive unless you cause a ruckus. Lvl 2 is similar with food requirements that are the same but you need to go to the larder(add an empty garden as in no soil). This allows freedom to move around the hive. The other is to add special effects to the black ant sword. Maybe add something basic like inflicting bleed or hungry blade(restores a portion of durability on kill(
  12. Just out of curiosity if you were to unbuild the wall while invisible does it drop items or play that thank sound
  13. You have a radio. The scab can send and receive fm stereo signal
  14. Don't forget shield and bow. Just would the crossbow be worn like a back item or is it small enough to form to be a hip holstered item. Keep in mind quivers done for Europe would be hip holstered as well but would be American native styled if worn on back. Also the shield would be nice if it's treated as a defence item (turtle) while on your back
  15. I like the sleeping bag especially if it could act as a lean to and then picked back up without resource loss when done
  16. There is one easy function to implement on the flying mount. That is include a max hover height. The firefly has a max hover height of around those wooden post by the pond or just above the grass. Adding your weight to the mix and lorewise you could explain the lack of free flight while limiting access to certain areas of the map. Not to mention mosquito/bee zones could turn deadly if a mosquito dismounts you forcibly. Another thing would possibly agitation with the mount. I can't see you charging a wolfspider on the back of a soldier Ant like a pint sized don quixote. If a you take a mount to something it is afraid of or it takes to much damage (ride into the haze) it bucks you and runs to it's safe zone. As far as taming goes I say stay to the omnitec story. Maybe there are collared bugs at certain points that the lab techs had hatched during the course of experiments. This would make the associated mob skittish but not hostile. You could get a quest line for each mount including healing damage (bandages) feeding and fixing it's shelter/making the saddle. This way it won't be to much on the toes of arc and would separate that these mobs are special
  17. Stahlrim I would love to see that make an appearance in grounded. As far as the cooler I say do a mini fridge. Could have more variety for things to find inside. Maybe have it half functioning where the fridge portion is busted and just keeps it cool and dark perfect for slugs and other creepers and if you make it to the top you can enter the freezer portion that triggers chiller(opposite of sizzle) and maybe encounter fungus enhanced varient as fungus prefers cold weather. You think the infected spider is bad encounter a frigid pillbug with blue ice spikes(blue splinters) that breaks out of the ice and charges you in the same manner a ox beetle does As far as ice based weapons I would suggest ice gear/mining gear combo. Like Pickaxe: a weapon that has burst but is triggering piercing damage Ice axe:a knife based cutting item Winter coat:made from lint as an insulator Ice boots: skid resistant boots. Insulated for the cold. Sun blockers and hood: based on Inuit design Lantern: a combo of fungus and bioluminescent fluid.
  18. For the little miniature gardens I am going to recommend additions. 1. New mushroom that's in game. The ink cap. I see other players wanting paint and this species actually was used to make ink. Could also be used as a blinding stat ailment. 2. Dandelion. We have the seeds and it would be useful trying to build bases in greener area. 3. Burrs. Another seed we have access to. Make it have reduced yields to not upset in-game "economy" 4. Slime mold. Would be nice to have our own little patch. And this one isn't part of the garden but fits the idea. Maggot Farm. You have to feed the maggots spoiled food/meat. When ripe you can harvest a maggot for grub flesh or maggot meat (don't see a need for more meat types for this). Each farm can grow 3 maggots. I am saying this to distinguish it from grubs which drop goop and hide Algae pit. Using the bug rubber (seriously underused) you make a small tank for growing algae. Nothing spectacular just a food option for the vegetarians who are sick of mushrooms
  19. Harpoon looks like it would benefit from the dragonfly larvae mask. It functions like a xenomorph(aliens) mouth and would make sense to be part do to the rapid underwater movement it's capable of
  20. As the bombs decrease grass yield I think plants should have fewer drops as you got to leave the plant it's meal
  21. In alot of survival games a mount is allowed for the character. This should be the case for mid sized creatures. Some bugs would be to large to be used as a mount they could be a possible pack animal but riding would be difficult. The bugs cant be to small which would be a factor. Aquatic mount Boatman. While not a true mount it could be used like the seaglide from Subnautica. It shares it's bubble with you. Beware the koi as it will often kill this mount while targeting you. Aerial mount Firefly. It can walk and fly. You also can turn on the glow. Bonus points if when you walk up to it there is a brief light pulse like the unlocking of car via fob. Land mounts Soldier Ant. Has the ability to move faster. Front chop action for cutting lv2 red lv3 black. While riding you can enter respected mounds without hostility. Larvae. Straight forward mount. You can order it to dig and hide to avoid it getting hurt. Front bite is level 1 chop Bombardier. Has a lob of blister fluid it can shoot. You can charge this to create a targeting reticle like mortar rounds. Orb weaver Jr. Allows to shoot a web. Since they included the ability for them to climb we you can use this to climb vertically however there is a cool down of 1 in game hour before it's two rounds recharge. He is a baby after all. That's it while I love the idea of a ladybug and a bee those are just to large compared to the player. They seem to be a better use as a caravan or wagon puller.
  22. Please consider adding a few pet enhancements 1. The ability to pick up pets and move them manually. Sometimes we want them in our base or get them out to walk them. 2. Food bowl. Allow us to store 5 days of food in a kibble bowl. That way leaving our friend beging doesn't result in feral actions 3. The ability to walk our little friends and have the keep pace 4. Spiderling pet. It does not attack o defend just a small spiderling needs grub goo or bug ooze for taming 5. Pet whistle. Teleports your active pet to you. Helpful for when pet falls through world geometry 6. Pet rewards for x days maybe have our pets bring back a themed item every so many days. Aphid gives you honey dew. Weevil gives fungus item. Spiderling gives you a bug part or web fiber.
  23. I say jerky needs to be used more for smoothie, cooking and building. I can't think of a reason why you would want to use fleshie bug meat instead of dried. I mean unless you like the feeling of wet socks every time you wear aphid shoes. Making the trophies seems that dried would be better as they are preserved in this manner. This could be helpful for people who want to store tadpole and water flea meat for water breathing smoothies. Also could include an option for cooking like one honeydew plus weevil jerky makes honey bugaque weevil on the spit
