Dark Souls and Demon's Souls are games where you learn to love repetition when the game entraps you. Also if you've never played anything on a controller, Souls games are the perfect learning tool. There's a chance you might not feel the magic, but if you can, do play it and see for yourself.

Is it really so difficult to check?

Well Disney screwed them once with the Snowwhite and the dwarvers prequel, i wonder how this will go.

I don't really know. I've probably managed to run one of the Ultimas or Bard's tale on C64 and i do know i had Darklands on diskettes. But i guess i must name Diablo as the first one i actually knew as an RPG. Or was it Albion.

Dark Souls. NG is so easy. I might even lose interest again before NG+.

Well it started out as survival horror i guess, then with each new sequel it's turning more and more into an ankward action game.

Blighttown is easy. You go down, then straigh, you jump, drop down, go right and save. You continue on until you reach the end of the way, drop down, go trough a cave, drop down twice, the go left and drop down and repeat that until you reach the bottom. Then you go right and save. You continue right, kill a Red Phantom, continue on to a trader and then continue up to a cave with spider web decor. You go down, summon the phantom, kill the boss, ring the bell and warp to the save. You go right and then up until you reach the exit. All done.

I'm not clear why people call it any kind of RPG over just a strategy game. Characters don't even have their own levels. It's a joke from my part, i don't classify it a an RPG either.

Amazon.uk has a crazy postage&packing price for mainland Europe. So shopto is a better alternative, then there's zavvi and game.co.uk.

You should try Valkyria Chronicles. It's not a JRPG it's a tactical RPG. Tale more Demon's Souls. :D

Finally got a better computer so i started going through my PC game backlog. WItcher 2, DIshonored, Spec Ops being the games im playing right now. Yes all at once.

Dark Souls. "Claymore build" ( well longsword actually, but claymore sounds better. Same thing to get best damage anyway) but under SL 100 so just 30 str and 40 dex. I wish the bring back Crushing/Blade upgrades in Dark Souls 2. It's annoying to have to fully level up STR and DEX to play with a straight sword build, whe with those upgrades it could be a simple STR build and i could spent points somewhere else.

No, not really. So they can freely change something if it gets in the way in later games. Retcons that we know about are fairly annoying.

Hehehe. Poor Kalameet. Not ever worth a second try. :D If you find things too easy, go offline and get your World tendency to pure black. edit:but yes magic is very powerful and you've even got a Mana regen ring from the start. But i kinda like most of the levels a bit more than those Dark Souls. I also suggest you visit Latria as soon as you can. That's a very pleasant experience.

The grounded Kalameet gave you so much trouble? And yes Gwyn is a pushover on NG. Well if you're decent at riposting he's not a problem even on NG+++++++ edit: you have to finish the game on NG+ too you know. It's not like anyone but maybe 4 kings, and DLC bosses can give you much trouble now.

I wish you could have seen "Jumping dragon asses" in their heyday. :/ It was scary and very dangerous. Did you also finish Solaire's story?

First 3 characters made it through the cave. It's Ron Gilbert game alright.
