- the PC for that price runs games on minimal settings, and even that badly - that's true, but you want wireless controllers which means an extra dongle - that's the only real advantage of the PC I have a console because the games look and play good,great even. I never did have that on PC, maybe 5-6 years after the game's release date. And everything ( well the vast majority) works out of the box. Just put the disc in and play. No bad OS taking up most of the resources and slowing down everything. I still love PC but i just can't afford a machine i'd like, so the old one will run old games and newer games are play on "old" ps3. :D

Sheesh i didn't think this thread would actually still be alive at this point. Anyway i don't care about Fallout anymore. I didn't finish F3 nor F:NW ( and i even bought all the DLC). First person RPGs like this are just not my thing not matter how good they are to some. And internet petitions never worked , those that "did", only seemed that way.

Why? Just load the last save ... continue the game. You should continue from before the last fight. And that is the real ending. Nothing evil about it.

I never noticed the +10% hit and crit bonus in my classic games. The tactical combat was pretty easy even if i did save every 3-4 turns.

Well i thought DA:O was worth replaying at first, but i never will play it again. So not that much different from deciding never to play DA2 again, after finishing it. Awesome feeling? If there was a time when the body needed to explode, that would be the only time ... but you get only get that crappy way.

It works just fine. The only real problem he might have is getting used to controls. Other than that, go ahead and enjoy it. No remorse first, of course.

I hoped they would make special editions from Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max Hit the Road like they did from Monkey Islands, but I guess thats not going to happen. I wish they would let GOG sell the originals at least, would buy them instantly. I had the triangle box for DOTT, but it vanished.
