  1. It's alot scarier when you realise that it's probably got a much longer history. Arguing with Volo is like arguing with Grommy, flaming pointless, unproductive, and an absolute waste of energy.
  2. I'll die screaming in horrible pain before I accept Iceland as part of europe.
  3. Atheism is very common in western europe. Infact when I first went to the US the biggest shock I got was that crazy christians still existed.... It actually seemed proposterious, and still does to me, it took time to except that.
  4. Kaften, you make me facepalm so hard I gave myself a black eye.
  5. Milking the cash cow, and making people think they have to own it. The only thing genius about COD MW 2 is that the marketing has convinced so many people that they MUST own it.
  6. I really, really wish we would. I trust the US more than the EU, and that is saying something.
  7. Yeah I do, and Bioware is so far up the chain of EA that you'd be on crack to think this would effect them.
  8. studios can be bad aswell, when the man in the charge has no clue what he is doing... the men at charge in these studios were EA executives... EA has a very high expectation of its studio's, its not just, are you making a profit, it's more are you making a large enough profit. Regardless, if you have a retard running your studio, why, oh why are you sticking around... Trust me when I say there are enough high's, low's, and politics at good studio's, what you describe is a hell hole ran by a retard and I would get out. Realistically the studio's that seem to be shutting are most certainly the weaker EA studio's within the group, the culture within those studio's also likely justify's this also. Also, I don't think you've actually read my post, I reiterate, bad studio's deserve to die.
  9. When considering the single player: Having played CoD since its original incarnation I can honestly say, I feel like I've already played this game, alot... CoD 1 through to CoD MW 2, the amount of actual change is minimal, CoD MW 2 just has more explosions, but frankly it all just seems a bit James Bond, and full of cheese. Activision have gone into this bizzare Fifa style release plan, and frankly I'm bored to tears with it, I can't think of a more linear experience. I actually think that all in all the Halo series is far superior to the CoD series of games, if only because Halo attempts AI, and I'm not being forced to walk specific lines, CoD feels like a shooter on rails. Verdict: Most pointless overhyped game of the year. When considering the Multiplayer: It's alright, I suppose... But I think I'd sooner play CS, or TF2...
  10. EA will just be ditching the studio's which ain't performing. This is likely related to the fact that the team's are probably not good teams, while there is likely talent inside, it don't mean that the teams are making good products. Bad studio's deserve to die.
  11. I had a pile of **** day don't work in the ****ing games industry kids, it's HELL!
  12. Well if you don't have the source, it's really not worth bothering with. Nice effort from the sounds of it. p.s. UE 3.0 takes a while to compile from what I hear.
  13. yes, yes, that's because piracy and 2nd hand market is killing the industry...
  14. I didn't think you was. It's just that it's a game that suits your needs. A good timewaster to play 15-30 minutes every now and then. I, on the other hand, have so little time for games that I like my games to be a bit more, well, substantial. Didn't mean to come off as pissy. It's actually pretty hard, making a game thats accessible yet substantial. I don't have the time or patience to learn DnD 3.5 Ed rules for example, which is why I haven't touched my NWN2 copy since I bought it, played maybe two hours at most. It's cool, not alot of people dedicate as much time to gaming as I do, its not available so whatever time you have has to be top notch. I know the feeling because I was exactly that way at university. Halo. :|
  15. You are lame. I dunno, seems like fewer and fewer games grab me nowadays. Torchlight was ok, but it just seems like a waste of time. Like playing a flash game. This is probably because Torchlight is what I'd call a casual game, and what I mean by that is, it's basically as casual as peggle, but an RPG. A Casual Hack and Slash RPG, I like this because it allows me to get some gaming in at lunch around all my other tasks, I can just pick it up, and play it. It's not deep. It's not demanding. It's not an amazing technical feat. I do find it to be alot of fun. Yeah. It's just that I don't game on my lunch hour, I eat. I only game for a few hours a week, and I'd like those hours to be somehow memorable. Torchlight isn't. It's the right genre for me but shallow as a puddle. It's not a bad game, just not the right game for me. Borderlands looks more like my type of thing. I wasn't aware I convincing you of anything. I also eat during my lunch hour... And game, curse of the Job. I'm fairly certain that you'd feel the same way about Borderlands, unless you play co-op.

  17. Pretty common nowadays actually.
  18. Have you played Uncharted 2? Oh god no! I'd rather have all combat played out by having kart races. Morgoth, have you played Anachronox? Alternatively Purkake, I agree 100%, traditional JRPG combat is teh verhomitz!
