  1. Please take the tosser with open arms. I hate the guy. P.S. You mean he was offered more money most likely. Seriously the guy is scum.
  2. How anyone could be looking forwards to Dead Rising 2 after the abomination that was Dead Rising is beyond me. I often use Dead Rising as an excellent example of how to have a great idea, and f*** it up. The controls feel wrong, the progression is the worst I have ever seen, its a broken game with a single redeaming mechanic which is merely slaying zombies.
  3. Push harder you fat bastard!
  4. America. Taking British rejects since 1607. Thank you America, because we sure as HELL don't want him.
  5. Not alot really its been a fairly poor year... It started out good with ME2, but its been rather down hill. F:NV and Vanquish, sure I'll be buying more games that those two, but those are the two I'm looing forwards to. I'll buy Black Op's at some random poing, MoH aswell i imagine, hell even Halo : Reach...
  6. This forum discriminates against Finns! Oh I love Finns, they're awesome, but as Kaftan is supposed to be swedish, I figured I'd out him.
  7. *sigh* NEVER! I do ride a bike, so I hope that excuses the jacket . [retort] Have you thought about laying off the cheeseburgers? I'm worried that you're getting fat. Also you look Finnish. [/retort]
  8. Don't be stupid.
  9. I just find it funny that shipping Space Siege with AP didn't get the cogs turning in anyones brain indicating a GPG and Obsidian project ala DS3. Funny old thing eh?
  10. BWUHAHAHAHA!
  11. I wouldn't call CoD a cover based shooter. Thing about CoD is that its pretty much been the same game since inception. I always feel like I've played whatever CoD game it is before I actually finish it, that said I do believe there were some exceptional levels in MW 1 which broke that mold for me. I really enjoyed uncharted, its probably my favourite cover based shooter, GoW is merely just average in my opinion, mostly because I don't like the art direction, grey is boring, and everything feels slow. Vanquish ain't a special game, but its a nice change of pace in the cover based shooter world.
  12. That's how I got it, personally I think it's why so many critics went after AP. Space Siege is the digital equivalent of someone putting flaming poo through your letterbox. That's a ridiculous statement, if I ever saw one. Seconded, AP recieved poor reviews because it was a BAD shooter, a BAD stealth game etc... Good with writing and RP I suppose, but meh on everything, especially the art OMFG that game is ugly. Hated the art direction, the poorly prebaked lighting, the noisey badly compressed texture etc...
  13. I wouldn't say that, it really is just kinda like gears of war sped up with a crazy rocket suite. Original? Maybe not, but its fun.
  14. LMFAO, you've clearly not played the demo.
  15. Moi...
  16. Running animation is much improved. Too bad there's nothing to be done about the gliding. Still doesn't have foot locking...
  17. So I've looked at the team mechanics and changed a few things around in order to aid this party of obsidianites in their quest for death by idiot gamer. Monte Carlo stays the same. The party alignment was Lawful Neutral, but I've since changed it to True Neutral to allow for a more interesting dynamic. Pidesco, has changed LN Fighter, and is now a NG Rogue. To later be DC'd with a Dex Fighter. Visceris, becomes Killian, a NG Halfling Rogue, later to be dual classed with Wizard. Kaftan Barlast, stays pretty much the same, but has had an alignment change to Neutral Evil. And Magical Volo, stays as a Cleric, but become NE I think dynamic should give them a fighting chance
  18. ... Neither the fact that it is called "Penumbra __ Mac", nor the handy little Apple icon afterwards nor the system requirements tipped you off as to what version you were buying? I guess you've proven GG isn't idiot proof, at least. Since I'm an inherently nice guy I'd point out that you can ask for a refund and since they're in Sweden you'll probably get it too, even if only as a credit. I clicked the link from the offers sidebar, where the full products name isn't indicated. At no point was it blatently obvious I was buying a mac product until I had actually purchased the title. It is stated in small text next to platform, but as I didn't have the full window open, I never noticed the symbol. I'm not bothered about a refund, I just won't use the service again. I believe its a potentially easy mistake to make on the website. I'm also responsible for not fully paying attention to what exactly I was buying. My experience with the service was fairly poor.
  19. I have to admit, I thought it was going to be an absolute shower of caca, but after playing the PS3 demo I was impressed enough to actually preorder it. It's like Gears of War on meth, with the homoerotic overtones replaces with some very mature chedder.
  20. Steam > GamersGate... I just used Gamers Gate for the first time because of this thread, and while I liked the little reward system, everything else about the experience was horrid. Especially when I ended up buying it twice because I somehow bought the Mac version first :|. GamersGate, you suck. Now all i can do is hope Penumbra doesn't suck and is worth the small amount I paid for it.
  21. Did you play Risen?
  22. I don't recall... So I'm not going to argue, but that "ugly" look is definately what you got with software rendering, I don't remember it looking so tired when I did play it, I should take a look.
  23. LMFAO@NWN1 being old skool.
  24. He's using software rendering.
