  1. Hillary Faceswapped Covid While Wearing a Hijab (Green and Blue are my favorite colors so I decided to combine them, worked out great!)
  2. Glad to see people are catching on to the 2 party scam! I always feel like I'm ahead of curb on national issues, and then when people finally catch up to where I was before my own opinion changes slightly. Don't you just love dialectical materialism?
  3. With Biden in office, can we finally get some sleep? (msn.com) Great article. So far Biden's policies have been sound (by American standards anyway, we're kinda bottom feeding here), as long as he doesn't flair up on foreign policy I think he'll do reasonably well. Neo-fascists and American global domination extremists still run amok but as long as "Sleepy Joe" lives up to his name and takes regular doses of sedatives I think we'll be OK. Who knows what Kamala would do if there comes a point where Joe can no longer function.
  4. The vast majority of Russians support Putin so I'm not worried about the U.S. elite turning them into some kind of U.S. puppet state (That's what they want by the way, an entire world run by neoliberal/conservative elites) Why do people even want a unipolar world? You want every country to be the same? Sounds boring. I'd prefer a competitive multipolar world anyday.
  5. This is only for last gen consoles. PC version is well polished but does contain some nasty bugs that are off putting to quite a few players, myself included.
  6. Epic Games Store 2020 Year in Review 1.28.2021
  7. Attacking far right insurgents/terrorists/separatists, even in the U.S., deserves absolute commitment with no political strings attached. Funny how the Second Chechen War was successful because Putin gave his commanders complete freedom of operation in such a nasty situation.
  8. Russian Attack Helicopters Purge ISIS Cells In Central Syria (southfront.org) Noice. I like it how Russians just take a hard no-nonsense approach to world problems, unlike when the U.S. does it and it's riddled with contradictions.
  9. Robert Reich nails it on his Twitter barrage. Robert Reich on Twitter: "So let me get this straight: When the government taxes corporations it’s tyranny, but when Wall Street stops Americans from trading stocks it’s just business?" / Twitter Robert Reich on Twitter: "If Redditors rallying GameStop is unacceptable market manipulation, what would you call it when greedy Wall Street bankers gambled away our entire economy in 2008 and faced no consequences?" / Twitter Robert Reich on Twitter: "When hedge fund billionaires move markets, they get huge bonuses. When ordinary Americans move market, they get shut down by Wall Street. The system is rigged." / Twitter
  10. Nvidia's new drivers give a 4k upscale on 1440p monitors, looks great at minimal cost to performance.
  11. Biden Freezes US Arms Sales to Saudis; Reviews UAE Sales – Consortiumnews I have to say I'm pretty impressed with Biden so far, I thought he'd be like the worst of Obama and the worst of Trump but so far he's disproving that thesis. Perhaps the next two years will be pretty swell until things go wrong again and people become more radicalized and demand decisive single minded action. Enjoy this short lived tranquility.
  12. Yeah the Hitman WOA trilogy does seem more "bondesque" than Hitman. If iOi ever reboots 'Hitman' I hope they can recapture the mood of the older games. After playing the WOA trilogy I am confident iOi will be able to do 'Bond' quite well.
  13. While America Was Sleeping - TomDispatch.com TLDR: Obamas bold geopolitical strategy, commonly referred to as the "TPP", was designed to block China's "Silk Road initiative" and transfer nearly 60% of the global economy preferentially into the U.S. However, it received widespread condemnation both in the U.S. and Europe because it was completely beneficial to American CEO's and shareholders and detrimental to workers and environmental causes. Trump came in and completely abandoned the TPP and developed a "America First" strategy and completely alienated U.S. allies in his tariff war against China, which completely failed as China literally did exactly what Obama tried to do during Trump's four years and has successfully set up an international trade network that benefitted them as America attempted to isolate itself from the world. Wondering what Biden's response to this will be.
  14. I'm actually afraid Trump is going to literally end up in my neighborhood, he's good buddies with our alt right former governor and Linda Bean who owns quite a bit of property in and around the midcoast area. He even said in one of his speeches that if things don't work out for him he may settle up here. Spooky, but it's a literal possibility.
  15. Whelp I have an hypothesis that "what they were before" probably wasn't so great or else Bolsonaro would not have gotten elected in the first place. It's the same reason we got Trump up here. I've always said that the U.S. is the most ass backwards country on the planet, right behind Brazil and Saudi Arabia. The American continents are quite split up at the moment.
  16. Joe Biden-Administration may focus only on internal issues | The Vineyard of the Saker Great blog post here, proof that you can find nuggets if you're willing to dig through dung to find them.
  17. No. The world economy is interconnected and is becoming more competitive between the powers that be (a good thing). Whether you run a state or private business, you have to adapt to the circumstances.
  18. Sanders in new push for $15 minimum wage under Biden: 'For me, it's morally imperative' (msn.com) Corporations are people to you know.
  19. Caleb T. Maupin on Twitter: "The strike in #India, the largest strike in human history, is being led by #Communists. Don’t doubt it for a minute. https://t.co/AW6mnA2rF7" / Twitter Nice. Remember India, as well as Brazil, are run by an openly fascist regime. EDIT: Whoops wrong thread, I meant the 'World Politics' thread, but the link in the old thread lead me here for some reason.
  20. Fascism can be loosely attributed to being racialist and nationalist w/o deeply embedded "age old" conservative principles, Mussolini and the Italian conservatives often clashed on such issues, "History goes forwards, not backwards!" Mussolini has said.
  21. Yup as much as I'm eager to try this out still not touching it until that 6 months + launch time period. Hitman 3's launch was pretty bad as well but not because of in game glitches but because of server and progression failures, so you're not completely alone GOGgers. Someone made a joke that Cyberman 2047 was the worst launch ever.
  22. Biden Administration Looking to 'Speed Up' Process of Getting Harriet Tubman on the $20 Bill (msn.com) LOL fascists are gonna rage at this one.
  23. The whole prestigious "Seal" reputation has been tainted by Chris Kyle.
  24. But aren't airborne units irrelevant in the 21st century?
  25. Russia bad, neoliberalism good. Never change, boomer "progressives".
